I really, REALLY enjoyed this one. It was a great look on how a friendship would develop between these two. Iruka working himself into the ground would absolutely be something Kakashi would try to stop, and being the capable lazy-jounin he is, actually managaed it. I was super surprised at the ANBU's willingness to allow Iruka to try his crazy jutsu on Kakashi, but I suppose if they were hanging around Kakashi they would have heard the sparrow-summon's report on Kakashi's condition and knew how desperate Kakashi's condition was. I'm glad that things worked out. Thank you for the fic! KTN

Brilliant, so brilliant. I'm so glad this story is as beloved as the last time I read it. I love seeing you balance Iruka and Kakashi'a characters without degrading, making them OC. They're so *real* in their interactions, that it just makes me smile. Looking forward to re-reading your other fics.

Apparently I am reading your stories out of order, but I just had to comment. I haven't commented on a story in a long time but I really loved your friendship pairing of Iruka and Kakashi. I just found Naruto recently and the characters are more "real" than I could have imagined in an Anime. I really enjoyed the slow way that you built up their friendship. Thanks for sharing with us.

If this continues, I think Iruka will be the only Chuunin the ANBU will respect as if he were one of their own, and they'll make sure to keep an eye on him at all times to protect him like they do with Hatake-sempai. Though he doesn't know it, Iruka just proved himself worthy of respect twice already, despite his status as a meager desk officer. Hopefully Racoon-san doesn't get it into her head to 'multiply' such a useful tool if she indirectly hangs around him more frequently...XD.
