This is the best HP DP xover I've found yet! Can't wait to see what comes next!

Rereading again, and I noticed something this time that confused me. Lily says in the prologue that Dumbledore had already put a blood ward around Maddie's house to protect Danny, implying Dumbledore knew where Lily was going to take Danny ahead of time. Assuming the place Lily planned to leave Harry would need similar protection... why DIDN'T Dumbledore know where Lily intended to take Harry? Wouldn't he have been needed to set up protections where Harry was going as well?

Awesome chapter. Evil cliffhanger. Can the Ghosts help Danny with the mess at the Great Hall and against Lydia? Hope you update soon.

I'd like to point out your conclusion on the aneurysm symptoms is faulty.
If an aneurysm is located by the cerebellum/brainstem area, it would have those symptoms.
When you are being injured - like someone carving up your hand - your body naturally produces adrenaline and your heartbeat speeds up. It's a natural reaction to pain, even if you are expecting it. An increased heartrate normally means an increase in blood *pressure* which puts a strain on the distended blood vessels. As the blood vessels are put under higher pressure - even a minute amount - it will put pressure on surrounding areas. If that area is by the cerebellum/brainstem the pressure would result in nausea and weakness.
Danny recovering relatively quickly after leaving the classroom is easily explained because by leaving the classroom his body would stop doing the extra adrenaline and thus the increased heartrate and blood pressure. The release of that extra swelling would allow the aneurysm to deflate and the pressure on the brain would lessen, causing the symptoms to lessen and go away. The lethargy during writing would be logical given that his magic would be expanding rapidly trying to hold back the aneurysm.
And if you look at it magically, his healing could be actually attributed to his magic and actually having the aneurysm. *If* he actually had one since childhood, his accidental magic would probably tried to stabilize it, logically by speeding up his healing. Since the problem has never gone away, his magic has by now probably set his default magical healing really high.
So honestly, if Danny actually had an aneurysm, his reactions in detention are perfectly in line with an aneurysm by his cerebellum/brainstem being put under stress by pain.

I absolutely love your story! The plot flows at a wonderful pace and you dive more into characterization than most stories do and I’m living for it. I love you didn’t have Harry or anyone find out Danny’s secret right away, it leaves more room for mystery and I can’t wait to see how everyone is gonna deal with it. Can’t wait for the next chapter!

Guess I’ll be sticking around.
I ended up liking the emotional drama more than I thought.
