Epilogue please!

I honestly didn't think I would like this story when I read the summary so I didn't read it when it was still updating. Glad I read it though. This is one of the best FFVII fics I've read. Keep up the good work!

Duty or Lust?

I love how even with no idea of what the hell is going on, Vincent reacted to Cloud's screaming as I imagine the older version of himself for late in the game might have. Quick, and as violently protective as needed, even not knowing who this weird kid is or what the hell these new people are doing in his crypt. XD

As soon as I saw there was Mako identifiably in that syringe, and Cloud's reaction even before being stuck, I had an inkling. His full immediate reaction to the injection was beautifully descriptive, and brilliant, and the POV switch made perfect sense to me.
I i/have/i been reading other FFVII fic today, though, so the idea that Cloud's slightly worryingly dramatic personality shifts are the result of having Zack metaphysically imprinted on him after major Mako-f***ery and trauma and all that was already fresher than usual. Poor Cloud is a bit of a messy jigsaw puzzle with pieces from a few different puzzles mixed up together.

I love that even while bemoaning his unenhanced body and it's weaknesses, Cloud still so easily and fluidly flipped someone twice or thrice his size like it was nothing. Now that has to sting an ass like "McAph" was made out to be.

So pleased to come back to this story. It's a delight.

This is the third time I've read The Little Guy and it's much further along than the last time I read it. Can't wait for the Updates Toki Mirage. Please keep up the good work.
