The nature versus nurture argument is stupid. It’s always nature, insofar as it being in some people’s nature to be nurtured. It’s a case-by-case. Some people change to fit the circumstance while some people stubbornly maintain their original nature.. for example, Harry’s nature was pliable enough for him to be nurtured into being cynical and cautious, but wasn’t so pliable that he lost the kindhearted and heroic aspect of his nature.

I kept reading in spite of myself and I’m not really a fan of how Harry is being portrayed. Putting aside the fact that Snape acted like his being reasonable to Harry is a privilegenot a rightthe problem I have is that Harry acted like the horror stories about Snape were unfounded despite the clear evidence in how he seemed GLAD Neville failed.

Most likely not gonna read much, it looks like the kind I won’t like and you’ve abandoned it anyway.. I’m just reading for the sorting and their reactions.
