For as simple of a story as Steve Rogers and Austria having a conversation, this story manages to feel fleshed out and interesting. I don’t think much about Austria fighting in WWII wouldn’t have thought to have him there when Bucky died but it makes sense. Thanks for the great story

This was so interesting to read.
We are taught and the Avenger's point of view in every form of media they appear in. Austria's points bring up the logical and almost surprising perspective of countries and characters that are shown as the oppressive enemy. SHEILD (while functional and efficient) has made several morally questionable discussions and has waltzed over international territory like the own it. And after establishing connections with Asgard, conducting universal war, and potentially harboring weapons of mass destruction it is clear that they could be considered a threat, international, global, total.
You are an insanely talented writer (gimme your skills, plz). And this was such an unexpected thing to read. Austria is one of my favorite characters and it's pretty rare to see a crossover fic starring him.

This is wonderful. Very rarely does crossover fan fiction of all things not only tell a well written, well characterised story, but also touch on the significance behind a major real-world film phenomenon.

There are distinct differences between us and Canadians! They are nicer.

I just want to say that this is a very good new perspective on the Avengers story. It always does scare me that the american superheroes are always portrayed as the good guys even though they basically hoard weapons and prevent any other organisation or nation from accessing any equal power. Also, what a cool way to introduce Roderich, it's seamless and perfectly plausible.

Please could there be a sequel?

Second, understanding:

I finally understand one of good reason why Germany stole the Thing(I forget the name) and had war against America.

I would not be surprise knowing if other countries actually secretly fear of America and his government's good connection with many powerful things and their Super Heroes.
(at least I'm glad knowing there at least 2 countries that probably would stay on his good side, Canada -brother- and England -special relationship-)

but as long as America doesn't lose his Heroic and Naive personality, he would not become Empire. Because that would be scary thought that no one would want to think about it. (because he probably more more Powerful than former Empires could ever be)

Third, funny moment:

Poor Steve... left by confusion and had to pay Roderich's bill...
