This story is so f'ing good.

Amazing! Honestly I wasn’t sure if this would have a satisfying ending but I was glad it did. I couldn’t see it ending in a smoother way without it feeling forced so well done.

I read this story years ago, following along with your updates in an agonizing cycle of waiting for update after update, I came back to it a pair of weeks ago and added it to my favorites, mostly because I remembered it fondly and wanted a chance to re-read it later.

I have to say, it definitely has aged well, and lives up to my memory of it. Some things hit me harder now than they did then, some of that I attribute to my father having been alive then and not now.

Other things affect me less, but I still found myself several times clutching my chest and thinking of how agonizingly perfectly you described certain emotion.

That is what captivated me the most about this re-read, the depth of emotion you were able to convey through your writing, I remember when I first read this I was enamored with the thought of how cool everything was and how lucky Shinji was to be with Misato, what a foolish child I was.

Regardless, I love this and hope to see you writing again some day. Though, do we ever really stop?

P.S. You writing among others are what have made me strive to be better as a writer myself.

The last scene, when you think about it, looks kinda like a murderer stepping into a room of a couple.

I loved it. I had shivers down by spine. Very well done, great job. And Misato/Shinji for the win.

I love reading this story, so much that this is my second run, and its still as awesome as the first time many years ago. Shinji and Misato are so badass in this story while also still being the goofy or awkward characters we know when off duty. I'm still trying to find another story that captures my favourite characters in the same light to this day. If you're still reading reviews, then I just wanted to say you did an amazing job writing this one!

Second time reading this and second time loving it.

It is rather short with only coming it at six chapters and barely more than fifty thousand words but it is still such a filling tale.

It saddens me that this author, for whatever reason, has ceased activity as he is such a fine storyteller.
