Really super great story! And so well written!

I really had my doubts about the whole premise behind this story. I mean, Rossi and Reid related? They are not at all alike and certainly don’t look alike at all! Nonetheless, I gave it a chance and found this story to be enjoyable and well thought out. Now if I can only stop picturing the tall, fair, lanky Gubler and the dark Italian Mantegna’s in these roles, and imagine instead
anyone who has at least a few common physical traits, this plot might be easier to believe. :) It was a great story though.

Just finished reading, I was hooked immediately and didn’t stop reading until I finished. The plot was well executed and all of the emotional beats hit hard. I really enjoyed this fic!

The idea is well performed and it seems like a real possibility. The chronic is right and coherent and the reader is keept in suspense throughout the hole fanfiction. I also like the way you portrayed the characters and their reactions were always authentic, in my opinion.

I'll have you know, I stayed up until 3 in the morning to finish reading this. Amazing work here! Loved every second and the characters were so well done! I shall wait until later (after some sleep at least) to read more!

I love love love this. I've read two stories with the general premise of Rossi being Reid's father. this is the best. I hope you did finish a sequel, because I so want to see them develop a bond and spencer reaching out to Dave for parental support. wonderful story.

Knowing, ..., with short bursts of reality where she realises Spencer is not her Spencer (but not fully realising that means there's another family out there mourning their child), only to fall right back into the delusion that he is her son (forgetting that he's not) because she can't deal with the truth.

Ps: and I'm feeling really sorry for Carolyn, who died without ever learning that her baby is alive. Without ever meeting Spence and getting to know him.

I liked it. Though I feel sorry for both Spencer and David...and for William, too, at least for the part about loosing his son like he did. But keeping Spence from his real family was wrong, especially when he then abandoned him. I get that he wanted to protect his wife, but he also took the chance from her to say goodbye to her real son, which is unfair...both to her and to little Spencer.
And of course, becoming a vigilante is wrong even though I admit I'm not feeling overly sorry for their victims, especially since they've hurt children like that. Still, it was wrong.

I'm glad though that Diana really seems to have no knowledge of what happened, that Spencer is really James and that her own beloved son is dead. No conscious knowledge at least.

Because as much as I love Rossi-is-Spencers-real-Dad stories, I hate it if Diana is painted as the bad guy, knowingly withholding Spence from his family (or involved in his abduction, even) because I really like her. Knowingly, in the sense of knowing it but never telling, conciously deciding to let a father think he's lost his child, not short bursts of clarity where she realizes the truth (without fully realising that Spencer's real family must be hurting, thinking they've lost him), only to fall right back into her delusion because it's too painful to deal with it.

Glad to see there's a sequel. I'll check it outThank you for sharing this story.
