The way that Ace's personality subtly changes because of the ray of sunshine that is Luffy is so satisfying and I adore the way you write Ace and all the other commanders interacting with Luffy! I tried to find it but it doesn’t come up. But anyway love the story. I hope there is more chapters in the future.

I read this for the past three days and the story was so promising. It was interesting, different and had lot of everything. Fluff, family, angst, drama and build up for the betrayal. I was super curious to how it would go and while I am happy you didn't kill off Thatch, the end felt like you just wanted to end the story without wrapping up the betrayal and what happened to Teach.

Btw, I like the bonus chapter, though it was also heartbreaking. However, I was confused about it, consider where you put it in. It felt out of place between those two chapters. Anyway, I did like it.
