Hey, so this is my first translation into English. It's just a short text about Jane's teacup. May it rest in peace.
If you find any errors, please let me know. English is not my native language so naturally it will have some weird errors.
Thanks guys! Enjoy reading.

The shards are scattered all over the floor. You would think nothing happened. But the shards are turquoise. They are turquoise and symbolize the end of an era, the end of a future and the end of security. You can see it in Jane's face. The shards mean more than broken dishes. In good as in bad days Jane could count on his cup, he could always reach out for a figurative helping hand. It was his hug when he needed one. It's like a hug in a cup. It held the liquid that warmed him when the world was cold and full of cruelty.
Much had changed in Jane's environment, and he'd never been able to hold this change back. But the cup had aways stayed with him. It had been witness of his deepest thoughts and listened to him whenever he couldn't bear listening to his own thoughts.
But the shards can't listen anymore. They are dead. Gone. They won't come back. Someone will take care of them and throw them away, three steps to the left into the trash can. Life will go on, even without the turquoise cup. But tea will never taste the same again. Nothing's going to be the way it used to. Everything will shatter into pieces, just like Jane's and my heart. When you look at the shards that are shattered over the floor, you feel like a good friend is gone. Because the shards are turquoise. The color of destruction is from now on turquoise. But it is also the color of continuation. Because the story hasn't come to an end yet. Only the cup is history. It was my favorite cup.
