Chapter 34 The End

The heroes starred at Hexo in shock as he grabbed the essence of The Lich and shoved it into his chest.

"Now you will know true terror!" Shouted Hexo as his body began to change.

Hexo's body became less blocky and more humanoid, his hands changed into skeleton claws and it looked like he was wearing a robe made out of living shadows. Hexo's face remained the same color and still had a nose only it resembled The Litch's skull and it had his horns. Hexo had long flowing black hair and his chest glowed with an evil green light.

"Brother...what have you done to yourself?!" Cried Prismo.

"I...have fused my powers with the power I used to creat The Lich to ascend to a new level of power! With this power nothing can stop me!" Laughed Hexo his voice sounding like a mix of his own and The Lich's voice.

"It doesn't matter how much power you have! Were still going to beat you and put a stop to your plans!" Shouted Finn as he charged forward swinging his fist.

Hexo just smiled as he blocked all of Finn's punches with one hand with incredible ease. Jake let out a roar and started to throw punches at Hexo to. Hexo didn't even blink as he blocked both of Finn and Jake's attack with one hand. After a few minutes Hexo let out a yawn and flicked both Finn and Jake with his fingers sending them both flying into a wall. Marceline let out a battle cry and charged forward swinging her ax at Hexo. The evil being just laughed and blocked the swinging ax with one of his horns, with a twist he threw Marceline into the air! Marceline flew through the air before Hexo appeared above her and slammed his foot down on her sending her smashing into the floor below. Flame Princess fire a enormous fireball at Hexo, who just simply smiled and unleashed a tiny green energy beam from his finger smashing through the fireball and hitting Flame Princess in the chest sending her crashing into the ground. Simon fired several ice spikes at Hexo, but the villain just simply warped around the attacks and appeared in front of Simon.

"I must say this is very disappointing. I'm only using a little energy and I'm mopping the floor with all you heroes! I'll think I'll just kick you all around a little more before I destroy your world." Said Hexo as he picked Simon up by the throat and hurled him into a wall.

Marceline let out a sonic wave at Hexo, who just clapped his hands and cancled the attack out. Jake charged in swing a giant fist at Hexo, but he just created a portal in front if himself and Jake ended up hitting Marceline instead. Finn picked up his broken sword restoring and charged forward swinging. Hexo blocked the attack with a claw and sent Finn flying backwards with a kick to the chest. Flame Princess created a flame sword and landed next to Finn.

"Lets take him together." She said as she lowered her body temperature and grabbed Finn's hand.

The two of them started spinning as they charged at Hexo. The villain smiled with confidence raised his claws to block the attack, but instead of blocking the attack Hexo felt pain shoot through his hands as the attack started to push him back! Hexo quickly leaped into the air and got away from the heroes, his claws were glowing red and giving off steam. Hexo glared down at Finn and Flame Princess.

"Well that was unexpected, but no matter. I'm through playing around with you. It's time to die!" Said Hexo as he started to gather energy in his hands to unleash a devastating attack.

However before he could launch an attack an ice arrow that had a heart shaped point pierced Hexo's shoulder making him scream and lose concentration. Hexo turned to see Simon with an ice bow in his hands.

"I've figured out your weakness. You can't stand up to anything that represents love! Love beats hate every time!" Declared Simon as he fired several more ice arrows at Hexo.

Hexo managed to dodge most of the arrows, but a few got him in his other shoulder making him roar in pain. Hexo tried to launch a counterattack at Simon, but a sound wave slammed into him from behind knocking him through the air. Marceline charged forward and slammed her ax into Hexo sending him higher into the air. Jake shot an giant fist up and slammed it into Hexo shooting up higher into the air. Before, he could recover Finn and Flame Princess appeared above him do their combo spinning move slamming right into Hexo and smashed him into the ground creating a huge crater.

Hexo was in the center of the crater taking deep ragged breaths, he glared up at the heroes with absolute hatred in his eyes. Then his eyes landed on the Ultimate Destroyer, which was now free of the time curse. Hexo smiled wickedly.

"You heroes still haven't beaten me I will destroy you precious world!" Shouted Hexo as he warped over to the Ultimate Destroyer and grabbed preparing to fire it at the world.

"Oh no you don't!" Shouted Finn as he charged forward and engaged in a battle if tug a war with Hexo.

The two of them pulled at the Ultimate Destroyer with all their might, their energy sparking like crazy. Finn's light energy raced towards the Heart of Hope and struck it. The Heart if Hope turned from black to gold and a blast of energy knocked Hexo away from the weapon. Hexo starred at the weapon in shock and let out a huge angry roar!

"YOU MISERABLE HUMAN YOU RUINED IT! I'LL DESTROY YOU!" Shouted Hexo as he swung a claw at Finn.

Finn dodged the claw and delivered a powerful super punch to Hexo's face sending him smashing into the wall on the other side of the room.

"The only one whose going to be destroyed today is you!" Declared Finn as he took the Ultimate Destroyer apart.

Everybody watched as the artifacts floated in the air and vanished in a flash of light. The shadowy tendrils that held Prsimo, Time Master, and Cosmic Owl vanished. The heroes let out a victory cheer, which was interrupted by a low growling sound from Hexo as he staggered to his feet.

"Oh you think you guys have won? I'm still here! You may have taken my ultimate weapon, but I can just put it back together, when I find the parts. Heck I don't even need it! I'll just destroy you the old fashion way!" Shouted Hexo as he clenched his fist.

The entire base started to shake violently and parts of it started to fall and crumble. Prismo used his power to teleport everyone except Hexo out of the base and to the moon. Everybody watch in shock as Hexo's base crumpled and fall apart.

"Did that Hexo guy try to try to kill us with a self destructing base?" Asked Finn.

"My brother was always crazy." Said Prismo.

"I don't think Hexo is dead, look!" Cried Time Master as he pointed at the still exploding base.

A massive shape was rising out of the base. It resembled a dragon made entirely out of darkness with bone spikes striking out of it. The dragon had a bleached white skull for a head with crimson eyes. In the center of the dragon's head was Hexo, who was fused to the beast. Only the top half of Hexo's body was visible the rest of him was the dragon.

"What the Glob?!" Cried Jake in fear.

"Behold heroes the true face of destruction! I'm at my ultimate power! You don't stand a chance! I'll destroy your world and hen go out into the universe snuffing out every light! I will not be defeated! Your all going to die!" Shouted Hexo as the dragon flew towards the Earth.

"We gave to stop him!" Shouted Finn.

"Here let me heal your wounds first. Whatever special power, you have is allowing you to breath in space. You better hurry before it runs out and the void of space crushes you." Said Time Master as he healed everyone's wounds.

The heroes nodded and shot off into the sky towards earth to do their final battle.

"Good luck heroes." Said Prismo.

Hexo was flying towards the earth laughing like a madman. Soon the planet would be destroyed and the rest of the universe would follow. The dragon was fixing to reach the earth, when suddenly five lights shot out in front of the dragon. Hexo starred at the lights in shock as he recognized the five heroes.

"You again! You just don't know when to quite! You really must have a death wish! You will not stop me! I will destroy you all!" Roared Hexo as the dragon fired a giant green fireball at the heroes.

Simon created a giant wall of ice that took the fireball and exploded canceling it out. Flame Princess charged forward and flew into the dragon's mouth. A few seconds latter golden flames exploded out of the dragon's mouth making it scream in pain as Flame Princess flew out. As the dragon shook it's head trying to cool the fire in it's mouth several giant ice spikes flew forward stabbing the dragon in the chest. The dragon screamed in pain as it yanked the spikes out. Simon flew forward and threw another giant ice spike hitting the dragon in the left eye! The dragon roared angrily and swiped it's claws out managing to hit Simon and Flame Princess and sent them tumbling through space.

"That's two annoyances gone. Now where are the others?" Said Hexo as he looked around trying to locate the other heroes.

Marcline flew in from the side and released a giant blast of sound into the dragon's ear making it scream and shake it's head wildly. Jake landed on the dragon's back making his hands giant size before he began pummeling the dragon's back with his fist. Hexo let out an angry snarl and blasted Jake away with a darkness blast. Hexo then saw Marceline flying around and blasted her away with a darkness blast. As he was doing that Finn had flown in and stabbed the dragon's right eye! The dragon roared in pain and violently shook Finn away. Hexo was furious he released a dark energy wave sending all the heroes flying back.

"That tears it your all officially dead meat!" He shouted as several dark energy blast flew out of the dragon towards the heroes.

Simon created an ice wall to protect everyone from the attack.

"His losing his cool it's time to end this." Said Flame Princess.

"Yeah. I'll finish him off. I need you guys to help me reach Hexo to end this nightmare once and for all." Said Finn.

Everybody nodded in agreement and flew forward. Simon moved his shield forward as they raced towards the dragon. As they got closer the dragon fired several of it's bony spikes like missiles at the heroes. Flame Princess and Marceline came out from behind the shield and took the bone spikes out with their fireballs and sound wave blast. Finn and Jake came out from behind the shield. Jake grabbed the shield and hurled it at the dragon. The shield flew through space and struck the dragon in the head making it's head head rock back in pain. Finn flew towards the dragon's head towards Hexo. Finn landed on the head and ran towards Hexo.

"Lets finish this!" Shouted Finn as he raised his sword to strike the villain.

"I totally agree! It's time for you to die!" Shouted Hexo as he struck Finn with lightning and a bunch of dark tendrils shot out of the dragon's head and wrapped around Finn. "Did you honestly think you could kill me? Your nothing but a mere child, whose just been lucky! I am a god! I will not be beaten by the likes of you! Now die!" He shouted as he blasted Finn with more lightning.

It looked like Finn was fixing to lose consciousness, when all of a sudden some of the tendrils became frozen and a few others were burnt to a crisp. Finn looked up and saw Flame Princess and Simon giving him a thumbs up. Finn pressed onwards towards Hexo as the villain continued to bombard him with lightning. All of a sudden a sound blast hit Hexo making him loosen up his attack on Finn. Finn charged forward with his sword raised high.

"I'm not alone Hexo! I have my friends to back me up and with them I can do anything! Including beating you!" Roared Finn as he stabbed his sword right into the glowing green light of Hexo's chest!

Hexo screamed as cracks appeared all over his body and and the dragon's body. A white light glowed from the cracks. Flame Princess swooped in and grabbed Finn as she and the other heroes flew away from Hexo. Hexo and the dragon exploded into a bright light and vanished. The heroes and the gods looked around, but there was no sign of Hexo.

"So it's finally over. The heroes won." Said Time Master.

"Whoa we did! We saved the universe!" Cheered Finn.

"Goodbye brother. Your evil was finally at an end. Though we were enemies I will miss you." Said Prismo as he waved to the void of space before teleporting everyone to the Candy Kingdom.

The people of Ooo had defeated the invasion of shadow creatures and were repairing the Candy Kingdom, when the heroes and gods appeared. The citizens raced towards the heroes cheering. The gods decided to leave and return to their homes.

"Thanks guys for stopping my brother. You did a nice job." Said Prismo as he and Cosmic Owl vanished in a flash of light.

"Well done heroes. You are truly amazing." Said Time Master before he vanished.

Betty appeared and hugged Simon and Marceline, she gave Simon a big kiss. Lady ran over to Jake and started to kiss him. Flame Princess and Finn shared a small smile before they started to kiss one another.

In the Land of the Dead the dead heroes and Death were cheering as Hunson and Linda shared a kiss and smiled at the image of their daughter.

All throughout the universe there was a cause for celebration. The universe was saved and the darkness that had threatened it was gone. Everyone was happy and everything was at peace.
