Chapter Sequence 7, Back In Black Part 2, Enter Lady Rouge and The RED Hunters.

"Talking." 'Thoughts.'

XX The Voodoo alley, Neo Orleans, Land of Lightning.

Naruto and Morgan then set down at the behest of Lady Rouge who had a rather curious look upon her face wondering why they were here as she had only heard rumors, her thoughts about what was going on only made her even more curious in all honesty.

Rouge was the first to speak once she sat back down, "So perhaps you can tell me if the rumors I have been hearing about are indeed true Morgan like about your homeland being recently invaded and that you all somehow managed to destroy a Dreadnought, and what of this young man sitting beside you what is his story I wonder?"

Off in the shadows set a larger man with braided hair that was slicked back and from the looks of things it was clear that he was one of the five great Kages of the Hidden Villages, he watched as the Black Fox then removed his hood revealing his face which surprised the older Ninja greatly as he instantly realized who this boy was related to and could not contain his surprise, "You're related to the Fourth Hokage aren't you boy?"

Naruto turned his head to look the older man in the eyes as his narrowed considerably, "It does not matter who I am related to ok and besides I have some issues with that man and would like them to be dropped if you do not mind!"

A The Kage of the Hidden Cloud and several of his Ninja in the room were just so surprised by the young man's tone but came to the realization that it was a difficult subject and unfortunately also realized that his mother's side of the family could also be a touchy subject, and yet for some reason A could not help but feel that something was very wrong and that this young men would be very important to them very soon.

XX Outside the Voodoo alley, Neo Orleans, Land of Lightning.

The Man we have been assigned to handle this particular task from RED Command had a strange feeling that he was going to pay for his many sins of the past and soon, all of his operatives were among the best of the best in both infiltration and assassination which he still found it quite funny since they weren't part of that despicable order that it cost him so many problems in the past.

And yet as he looked at the Voodoo alley he could only feel that sense of dread growing stronger, he turned to one of his men and spoke in a very soft but firm tone so only he could hear him, "We have to avoid attracting any unwanted attention and we have to infiltrate this structure as soon as possible."

The man in question nodded his head as he pointed to a small alley and then spoke, "I already have several octaves in the back security notice a quiet way in and out my Lord."

"Good I want this done by the book if possible but no matter what this pirate Lord must die, is that understood?"

Everyone quickly nodded their heads as you then motioned for them to follow him and his operative into the alley to complete their objective no matter what.

XX The Voodoo alley, Neo Orleans, Land of Lightning.

Lady Rouge and the others who were sitting in her private area were surprised by what they had been told and realized that things were about to get far worse then she had at first anticipated, and yet Rouge could only hope that the Land of Water would not be foolish enough to try something here.

She looked at Morgan and the young man and came to a realization of what they wanted which on one hand excited her and on the other terrified her to no end, she began to weigh the options realizing there might be no choice as she needed to know more information before she could make an effective decision.

"Everything you have told me is quite disturbing in all honesty and yet the decision to join you and is not an easy one to make either." She said.

Morgan then got up and walked over to her friend as she stared her into her eyes and spoke in a matter of fact type tone, "You know better than anyone what they will do if given half a chance, and you also know they'll be sending RED's here and you know that they cannot be traced back to them to avoid an international incident."

Rouge let out her breath she did not even know she was holding and know her friend was right, and yet she was sure it's about this small bit of information about this operation.

"You said something about the last communication mentioned something about Operation Moon did you not?"

Morgan and Naruto both looked at each other and then turned back to her as Morgan spoke, "Yes they said there was a potential target there and that they would confirm when they launched the operation."

Naruto was the first to catch on, "You know something or you at least have a theory that happens to fit the facts."

Lady Rouge nodded her head and then spoke, "I think I do actually, at this present time the Crown Princes of the Land of the Crescent Moon a father and son are currently touring the mainland before they return to their homeland and if anything were to happen to the king they would be the only heirs to the throne."

Morgan was more curious realizing they had their first true lead, "What is so special about the Crescent Moon Kingdom?"

"They are the premier tourist destination in the Neo-Caribbean and there are also sitting in an area known as the Water's Neutral Zone, so they sit just outside the conflict zone of the Land of Water and its disputed territories and they have a rather healthy economy like no other in the territory." Rouge said to them.

The two of them then looked at each other realizing that this was exactly what the Land of Water needed, Naruto had a feeling that he could do something to prevent their plans are from coming to fruition.

"I take it the Princes are about to return home pretty soon?" he asked her only to receive a positive response with a smile on her face.

"That's right, however there is one complication if my source is correct and you will not like it at all Mr. Uzumaki." she said to him but also noticed him tensing up just a little bit.

"The Hidden Leaf is involved aren't they?" He asked.

Rouge gave him a simple nod of her head and then said, "That's right and their transport is sent to leave in one weeks time from a neutral country just outside of our borders, no matter what I would recommend you follow them or appoint yourself in extra set of protection as they are going to need it in all honesty, and the other fact that fits is that he's there."

Morgan immediately knew who she was talking about, "Jack's there?"

Naruto was curious about who this Jack was, "Jack?"

Morgan began to explain, "Jack was once a high-level Capt. in the Water Navy and married a beautiful woman who was a ANBU in the Hidden Mist, you could say it was love at first sight and they were dangerous together."

Naruto was honestly impressed by what he heard so far as Morgan then continued, "Eventually they had a daughter who tried her best to follow in both their footsteps, but then all the trouble with the Purge started and eventually it was discovered that his wife and daughter had a rather strong bloodline and they came for them."

Morgan then took a drink that it been handed to her as Rouge then continued the story, "They honestly expected him to kill his own family but instead were the ones who were executed that day, his whole crew as well as two other ships went rogue because of this and they witnessed some terrible atrocities."

Naruto was honestly impressed by what he heard so far but was also curious, "Do you think he will help us?"

"I cannot say for certain, but from what I have seen so far if there is anyone who can bring his fighting spirit back I believe that it will be you Mr. Uzumaki." Rouge said.

Naruto could understand what she was saying however it was the appearance of one of her employees with both Haku and Karin that immediately set everyone on edge, "My Lady several men who are clearly armed to the teeth have just entered the alley including that they are here on official business and even had warrants for several people's arrest including your own."

Naruto was instantly on his feet and immediately activated his Eagle vision in the form of Eagle pulse which allowed him to see everything in the club and immediately located the fake law officers, he then began to use his enhanced senses much like his ancestor Arno had done long ago, "We can't keep this disguise up for very long."

"It will serve its purpose once these pirates are dead and if the current Kage dies as well it'll just be a bonus which we can blame on them and put in our own person to rule the Hidden Cloud Village." The leaders spoke not realizing that an Assassin was already present.

Naruto quickly got back to his feet and turned to them and spoke in a commanding tone, "Their Templars, probably REDS and I hate to say this but you are now officially a target as well Kage."

Rouge was now quite curious of what was going to do, "Out of curiosity you're not planning to destroy my club are you?"

"I'm not a murderer, I just assassinate people who try to harm others... These guys are just at the top my list, feel like helping Morgan?" he asked her.

She could not help but smile, "Always, but I think fighting in the club would be too dangerous."

Naruto nodded his head in agreement as both Morgan and Rouge joined him and his friends in preparing to welcome their uninvited guests in a manner most befitting them, the five of them were quickly hidden thanks to the design of this area of the club.

By this time both Haku and Karin had prepare themselves for what was coming as a fight seemed unavoidable at this time, by this point in time the imposters had entered the private booth expecting to see their target only to be met with the angry face of the Hidden Clouds Kage who was clearly not amuse.

The leader of their group who could be easily described as being very brave or perhaps very stupid then decided to intimidate this imposing figure, if the situation wasn't so serious A would be laughing his ass off right at this moment but unfortunately things were far more complicated but same time he took the young Assassins warnings quite seriously.

The leader of the group then walked forward in the most imposing way possible as he then proceeded to try to intimidate this giant of a man knowing that he had a job and a particular female pirate to kill, "Lord Kage it would be most advisable if you hand over the pirate Lord known as Lady Rouge over to us at this very moment in time and you will not be implicated as a potential collaborate against both this nation and the Land of Water."

A then stood to his full height revealing his massive size to them in an attempt to intimidate them and keep them unaware of the danger directly above them, the large Kage then walked forward a little bit now standing directly in front of them in all of his glory.

The REDS felt like a tiny ant compared to this man for the lack of a better word but they were letting their fear and other emotions begin to control their actions at this moment in time, the lead member of the REDS recognized the signs of distress and before he could defuse the situation any further he was shocked to see several other individuals falling from the overhead ironworks onto his fellow REDS in short order.

To this RED it was like an old story of the Templars bogeyman coming true, "ASSASSINS!"

Letting both his instincts and emotions take control he used his fight or flight reflex to quickly leave the area knowing that he had to warn his superiors that their oldest and thought to be extinct enemy had suddenly return from the grave, Naruto was quick to act as he began to give chase knowing that this Templar could lead him to others.

The surviving RED operative ran as fast as his legs could carry him not wanting to look back afraid of what he would see, he was so focused on simply running that he failed to notice an obstacle in this way and hit the dirt hard and in the process looking up only to see that the Assassin had taken to the roofs.

Part of him was mesmerized by what he saw as this deadly wraith moved with such grace and elegance among the top of the buildings with a clear destination and target in mind, and unfortunately at this moment he was that target.

The RED did not remain still for very long knowing that this could end his life if he procrastinated any longer in this spot, with his adrenaline and blood pumping through his system giving him the needed energy to propel himself forward knowing that every second he was ahead was the difference between life and death for him.

And yet he tried to keep his mind as sharp as ever knowing that he had to lose his pursuer but the chances of that happening now were slim to none and now only survive and the hope of it drove him onward, he dare not look back knowing that that would be like in invite to his own death and that was something he wanted to desperately avoid.

His natural speed was already ahead of most people you encounter including some ninja but yet it may not be enough for this raptor which had him in it's sites and was not letting go without a fight, then this unusual confusion this desperate need of help he then saw it like it was becoming clear in his vision which of course was his destination and hope of salvation.

The captain of the ship a proud member of the RED's and a high level Templer who had his own dark past connected to a certain event, the captain for the most part surprised to see one of his subordinates running towards him and his ship as if the devil upon his heels.

As the RED agent desperately neared the ship and his salvation he then screamed out at the top of his lungs one word that sent a cold chill down spine of the ship's captain, "ASSASSINS!"

The captain's eyes widened in both shock and disbelief at first but then his rational mind took hold as he then ordered his ship to immediately make for open sea as one of the other crewmembers motioned for the operative to get on board, this is the sense of both fear and optimism and it was quickly replaced with a sense of shock and dread as well as a creeping fear as he then watched a figure dress entirely black land on the operative forcing him to become still.

An Eagles cry is heard in the distance announcing the man's demise as the black robed figure first rose to his full height and leaving the cadaver upon the ground for all to see and gave off a menacing aura and begin to survey the ship he was headed for to see if there were any potential enemies and targets, his eyes then were drawn to the Captain and then proceeded to go wide in shock.

It took him almost a second to reign in his emotions as he then had a flash of that terrible night so long ago as one of his main targets was indeed upon this ship, but the captain of the ship had never thought in his life that he would see another Assassin but there he was looking into his soul as if judging him for all his sins.

But the captain and his crew thought that they were safe as they made for the open ocean only to see a rather large black ship holding up the docs without even stopping as the assassin simply jumped aboard as if it was the most natural thing in the world, the captain looked on with both disbelief and wonderment as the Assassin then took the helm.

The captain realized his only opportunity to survive this encounter was to fight, his ship just did not have the speed necessary to out run the Vixen and knew of will only one location that he could use to bring all of his guns to bear that would hopefully end this monstrosity that was after him and his crew.

As his ship made it's turn into what was known as the deadly circle is the only think of what he had done for the Templars to warrant this kind of revenge even among the Assassins and yet the memory of that young woman and her child did not leave him and made him wonder if everything was coming back pay him for his sins and wickedness.

His ship was halfway through turn when they spotted the dark ship cruising parallel to them not even attempting to make the same turn and instead brought all of its guns to bear upon them, the captain looked upon the bridge seeing the assassin in several of his targets standing there is a simple breeze blew back the hood revealing the more mature face of that child and the Ever clear of the unimaginable fury upon his face.

As the Assassin brought his hood back up into place even made a motion with his hands which was clear to the captain it was a signal to fire the main battery, only one gun was needed to rip his ship in two and damaged the rock face of the cleft they are sailing next to.

The captain immediately grabbed several people and got them inside the main communication Center seeking shelter from the onslaught of weapons and rocks as they rained down on his ship and crew, the captain knew they needed to get out a warning as soon as possible not just with the other Templars but those like himself who had taken part in that attack so long ago.

He looked to one of his crew members and said, "Do we still have communications?"

"The long-range system has been destroyed Sir, but the short range should still be functional." the young man said.

The captain knew only one way to save his career and might involve sacrificing himself to do it but in the end it would reveal just want this young man had become, "Turn it on... Uzumaki you bloodsucker you're going to have to come down here to do your own dirty work Assassin, do you hear me... DO YOU!"

Naruto had a feeling that this man would survive somehow like a cockroach and then proceeded to walk over to the radio that was on the main steering deck, but from what is able to tell their long-range communication was gone but it only takes one sympathetic ship to get this information that to the rest of the Templars and his personal targets.

He picked up the receiver and and began to speak, "I figured that wouldn't kill you, you were after all the only one she didn't injure that night."

"That's right I'm still alive and I must say for an Assassin you've managed to kill just about everyone else but like a poor marksman keep missing the target." The captain could not help but say knowing that it would get under the skin.

Naruto turn to one of the gutters and said without the other captain knowing it, "Bring all of the guns to bear upon the cliff face and await my command to fire."

He then returned to talking to the captain, "Perhaps I no longer need to try, Capt."

These were the words the Capt. had not been expecting to hear any small bit of fear found its way into his chest gripping his heart tightly, "Uzumaki I know how to find the others and you want to kill me yourself, you're going to have to come down here."

Everyone was looking at him intently wondering what he would do in this situation, the next words that came out of his mouth were as cold as the ocean depths themselves as he looked at the locket that once been his mother's and could only feel like this moment which was fury.

"I've done far worse than kill you, I've hurt you... And I wish to go on hurting you, I shall leave you as you left me... "

As a captain listen to these words he felt all hope was lost, "As you left her, marooned for all eternity in a watery grave... Buried alive, buried alive!"

The Capt. could no longer hold in his rage realizing that this was his end and nothing would stop it no matter how much he wished it would, "UZUMAKI... UZUMAKI!"

Naruto shut off the radio as he gave the command to fire the weapon's of the ship and then turned to his fellow mariner Lord and said, "So how bad is it going to be convinced Jack come back and when do we get started."

End of Chapter Sequence Seven, Part Two

Story Development Diary.

This particular chapter took a lot of work even though it's such so short because of so many other stories and because things are just going on in my life but at the same time I didn't want to rush it.

Part of the challenge was just setting up some of the events making sure the dialogue was up to my standards as I really really wanted to take my time this chapter, at the same time I've also been working on the first couple of chapters to this story's sequel.

The next chapter I can honestly say will take a good long while to be done just because of how I'm going to do things in it and that will require a great deal of concentration and checking everything to make sure all works out.

This chapter also gave me a chance to show a bit of Naruto's dark side with how he handled one of the other people who murdered his mother and 10 points to whoever can guess where that speech came from.

This chapter also introduced the character of Jack in this Chapter for the first time even though we don't actually get to meet him in person but it does set up the next major parts of the story as all of these Mariners are going to come together.

This is another reason why is going to take a good long while before the next chapter comes out, I really want to do this particular chapter just right and I have several other stories to work on so it's going to take a while and for that I apologize in advance.

So with that in mind I hope you enjoyed this chapter some of them may not be as big as they were anymore but that does not mean that I'm not working on.
