Human AU. There is literally nothing for this ship. Sorry if the characters are a bit OOC, I haven't written for TMNT at all before this.

Timothy was getting sick of the little tick-tapping noises coming from beside him. This had not been what he had in mind when he had invited Donnie to hang out after school. Currently, both boys were seated on the well-worn couch in Timothy's house. Donnie was on one side with his laptop balanced on his knees and Timothy was on the other, trying to pay attention to the movie he had put on and failing.

Donnie continued moving his long fingers over the keys without stopping. He was typing so fast it was a wonder he even still had fingers. Donnie was always using his hands, whether he was typing or building or trying to explain something. It wasn't a bad thing but Timothy had to wonder if they could be still for five minutes.

"Ok, what are you doing?" Timothy paused his movie and looked at Donnie, trying not to look annoyed.
Donnie glanced up from his screen to respond.
"Coding some stuff, working out plans for my next project, home work. Mikey's also been messaging me. He broke his phone again and wanted to know if I could fix it. I can, obviously, but this is the fifth time he's broken it and I told him if I keep on fixing everything he'll never learn to be careful with stuff. Then he complained about me sounding too much like Leo, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but-"
"Dude, you could have stopped five sentences ago."
"You were the one who asked." Donnie went back to his computer screen after that.
Timothy, however, didn't return to his movie. He sat there, listening to Donnie typing away. Donnie didn't notice at first but after a while his typing got slower and slower and then stopped completely.
"Why'd you stop?"
Donnie didn't answer. Instead, he moved closer to Timothy. He laid down flat, his head and shoulders resting against Timothy's side. He placed his laptop on his stomach and continued typing. Only this time he was only using one hand. His other hand had found its way into Timothy's. It was a bit uncomfortable due to the angle he was laying but it worked.
"I can type with one hand you know." Donnie said.
True enough, his other hand was whizzing by all the keys on the keyboard; the tick-tapping hadn't slowed down at all.
"So," Donnie continued, "What are we watching? Did I miss any good parts?"
Timothy ignored the blush on his face and started talking about the movie in an excited voice. Donnie was only half paying attention, the movie had something to do with video games and super heroes and the end of the world. Donnie couldn't help to think how very Timothy-ish the whole thing sounded. He spent the next few hours in that position and it was totally worth the cramp in his shoulder and pain in his left hand the next day.
