Goode High

"Percy!"

Percy turned around to see one of his mortal friends, Daniel, standing there.

"Hey Dan, what's up?"

"Not much, but how've you been? And where have you been, if you hadn't realized school started a week ago."

"I'm fine, I was visiting my dad and you know helping out with the family and stuff." This was partially true, Percy stayed at Poseidon's Palace in Atlantis because there were a couple of conflicts between minor sea gods. It was nice staying there because he got to spend time with his dad, but then again, his summers were reserved for his amazing girlfriend Annabeth. She goes to school in San Francisco while Percy went to Goode High in New York. They IMed almost every day but Percy would much rather spend his time with Annabeth at Camp Half-Blood.

"So anyways, anything new at Goode?" Percy asked

"Same old, same old. Actually, there is a new girl that we're kinda friends with. She's super-hot, like all the guys are lining up to ask her out. But every time she says that she has a boyfriend. I don't think she does though, it's probably just a cover to stop guys asking her out. I think today is my lucky day, I'm gonna ask her out."

"Okay then, good luck with that. I'm sure she'll say yes." Percy replied, but he doubted it. By the way that Dan talked about her, he could tell that she wasn't easy to persuade and that she won't be brought down that easily. Just like his Annabeth.

They walked down that hall to meet their friends, when Percy saw beautiful blonde princess curls. He thought it was Annabeth for a moment but pushed away that thought. There was no way it could be Annabeth, she was in San Francisco. He couldn't believe that he missed her so much that he was actually seeing her where ever he went.

Dan and Percy walked over to Percy's locker where all of their friends were. Percy greeted everyone and emptied his bag in his locker. As he was empting his bag and somewhat trying to organize his locker, which he was failing at pretty badly, he heard the guys whisper "Here she comes."

Percy was wondering who they meant, probably the new girl as his friends were supposedly friends with her. He finished putting his stuff in his locker, closed his locker and turned around to meet this new girl. As soon as he saw her, his jaw dropped. No it couldn't be. He was just hallucinating. He probably just missed her too much.

"If I were you I'd close my mouth. You wouldn't want any flies to fly into there, now would you, Seaweed Brain?" The new girl said.

Percy couldn't believe it. It was really her. She was here at Goode High.

"Annabeth!" He said as he pulled her into a hug.

"I've missed you, Wise Girl."

"I've missed you too, Seaweed Brain."

Annabeth said as she leaned her forehead to his. Percy closed the little space between them, by leaning in, to kiss her. When they finally pulled apart, they were met by Percy and now Annabeth's friends all with their jaws dropped. Dan was the first to recover, "Wait what?"

"Guys, meet my girlfriend Annabeth." Percy announced, as he hugged Annabeth from behind.
