Maya woke up very early in the morning that night. She was at Miles' house and it was still dark out.

She smiled as she looked down, seeing Miles' arms around her waist. She burrowed into him more as she squinted, trying to make out Miles' living room.

Suddenly, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She quickly took it out and looked at it, groaning a little. There were five missed calls and eight missed texts from her mother.

Maya frowned as she saw none from Zig, not even one. He probably hated her after what she had said to him.

She quickly texted her mom "Staying at Tristan's house for the night, we fell asleep studying." and tucked her phone back into her pocket, figuring that would do.

However, if Mrs. Matlin was Katie, she would have marched across the street to check if Maya really was at Tristan's house.

Maya didn't want to go home at all. She turned around to face Miles and giggled, as he was still sleeping. She nuzzled into his chest affectionately, feeling his heart beat as he slept.

She suddenly heard some noise coming from upstairs that sounded like someone yelling, followed by a couple of slams.

In confusion, Maya nudged Miles lightly before he slowly started to wake up.

"Maya?" he asked, tiredly. "What time is it?"

"Never mind that!" Maya hissed. "There's strange noises coming from upstairs?"

Miles let out a breath, sitting up a little as he listened. There was more muffled yelling and noises.

He laughed a little bit, shaking his head and lying back down.

Maya frowned. "What? Are people fighting or something?"

"No" Miles chuckled slightly. "That's just Hunter."

"Oh." Maya settled back down against his chest. "And this is…normal Hunter behavior?"

"As of recently" Miles replied. "He's always online playing some strange video game on his computer. Judging by the sounds coming from his room, I can deduce he's losing."

Maya giggled a little, planting a kiss on his cheek. "You have a cute tired voice."

"I do?" Miles' voice as a cross between tired and amused.

Maya nodded and giggled into his chest. "Mhm." She leaned up to plant a few more kisses on his cheek. Miles' warm hands found her waist, pulling her closer.

Maya pulled the blanket more over them, smiling. "So. You know I've never been in your room?"

Miles sounded mildly bothered by this. "Oh? I guess not."

Maya nudged him playfully. "You've been in mine like a million times."

"I wouldn't go that far."

"You know what I mean!"

Miles let out a breath as he held her, stroking her waist slightly. "You probably wouldn't want to see it. It's just very neat and straightforward and boring."

Maya scoffed a little. "I'm sure it isn't, you're not a boring person. What are you hiding in there, a dragon?"

Miles chuckled a little as he looked down at her. "The house would have burned down by now."

"So why can't I come in?" Maya pouted. She had a thought. "Wait, do you have any pets?"

"I personally? No, but Frankie has a fish."

Maya giggled. "Aw. That's cute."

"We actually all had fish. Frankie, Hunter and I."

Maya frowned. "What happened to yours and Hunter's?"

Miles groaned slightly. "Uh…well, I remember I was hosting a party a couple months ago…"

"Why do I get this feeling that this isn't going to end well?"

"…And I had a lot to drink, so I wasn't really in my house much. By the time I was sober again the next morning, I entered my house and both fish were gone."

"That's so sad!" Maya paused. "Wait, but what happened to them?"

"There were rumors about some rubber room kid drinking from our fish tank."

Maya winced, having a pretty clear mental picture of what had happened to the fish.

"What about you?"

Maya frowned. "What about me?"

"Do you have any pets that I don't know about?"

Maya giggled a little. "No. I'm petless. Katie really wanted a cat though." She paused. "And I bet I miss your fish!"

"I do not, they were complete nuicances anyways."

"Do too!"

"Fine, maybe a little."

Maya smiled triumphantly. "See? You do have compassion!"

"That's not something I'd like to admit aloud" Miles replied.

Maya frowned. "Really? Why?"

"Frankie and Hunter could be listening?"

Maya narrowed her eyes. "So?"

"They like to post what I say on the internet."

As they lasped into a peaceful silence, Maya cuddled her body into his as their legs tangled together. Miles held her tightly, his arms around her.

Maya looked up at him. "Miles?"

"Yes?"

Maya paused a little. "I want to get back together."

Miles stared down at her. "So do I."

Maya let out a breath. "I need to know from here on in that you're going to trust me."

Miles' hand found hers, and they intertwined their fingers as they looked at each other. "Of course. Maya, I was stupid. I believed you'd cheat on me, which is something I know you'd never do."

Maya shook her head. "I love you too much…" she stated softly.

"I love you too. You're all I have, Maya."

Maya cupped his neck and softly connected her lips to his, her eyes fluttering closed as they kissed.

They kissed slowly and softly before Maya pulled away slightly, leaning her forehead against his. "Does that mean we can kiss now?"

Miles chuckled. "Of course." He kissed her nose.

Maya scrunched up her nose as he did, giggling. "That tickles!"

Miles just gave her a smile and crushed his lips back onto hers, rougher this time. Maya's hand found his neck and she returned the kiss eagerly, moving her lips in sync with hers.

Miles' tongue brushed across her lips and Maya parted them for him, letting him explore her mouth. Maya sighed in bliss at the feeling, her hand stroking his neck and up into his hair.

Miles moved so he was hovering on top of her, ducking his head down to attatch his lips to her neck. Maya tilted her head back in bliss, feeling his warm lips traveling downwards, slowly starting to lose herself.

He found the spot just under her jaw and bit down. Maya bit her lip, trying not to make any noise.

Miles continued to suck and bite on her sweet spot, love-biting it until she was mewling with pleasure, delicate moans and whimpers escaping her lips.

Maya's hands found their way into his hair, tugging it as he marked up her sensitive skin. Miles kissed all the way down to the spot between her neck and collarbone, lightly sucking on it.

Maya gasped as her hands moved down to his shoulders, squeezing them. He had never discovered that spot on her before.

Miles roughly started to suck on her skin, his teeth grazing it. Maya began to mewl again, her chest rising and falling.

Her hands slid down his back, untucking his shirt and rubbing the bare skin of his back. Miles moaned softly against her neck before his lips traveled down her chest, kissing along her cleavage.

Maya involuntarily bucked her hips up and Miles moved his down. Miles moaned as Maya sank her nails into his back, beginning to grind against him.

As Maya grinded harder, she felt heat pooling between her thighs and moaned at the tension. She felt amazing, but didn't want to carry things too far, especially when there were people in the house.

She lightly put her hands on Miles' shoulders, stopping him. "Hey."

Miles raised his eyebrows. His eyes were glazed over; she could see him better now, it was getting light out.

"Did I do something wrong?"

Maya giggled a little. "No, you did things just a little too right."

Miles looked at her in confusion. "So why do you want to stop?"

"I…just don't want things to get too carried away. Besides, we could wake up your family!"

"Hunter's already up" Miles announced. He looked into her eyes as he cupped her face. "Are you sure? I didn't hurt you?"

Maya laughed lightly. "No, not at all!"

She lightly pushed him off her and sat up, looking around. "Hey, do you have any ice cream?"

Miles looked at her for a moment. "I swear, you are very strange. Especially with your ice cream."

Maya sighed. "You're right…I probably got it from Zig."

Miles looked at her. "Ice cream cravings?"

Maya nodded. "He's up at 2 in the morning eating ice cream sometimes. It's pretty funny."

She smiled lightly at him. Miles leaned down to press his lips against hers. Maya smiled against his lips. "Ice cream time?"

Miles groaned a little, obviously still wanting to continue.

Maya just giggled and hopped off his couch. She entered the kitchen and threw open the freezer, leaning down to search it.

Maya groaned. "There's like a million things in here!"

"We are rich, you know." She heard Miles' voice behind her.

Maya searched around the fridge for a couple moments before finding a carton of ice cream and smiling. "Yay!"

She opened the ice cream and grabbed a spoon, starting to shove it into her mouth.

Miles was giving her a strange look. Maya quickly took the spoon out of her mouth. "Sorry…when I'm this hungry, I have no manners."

As she continued to eat, Miles chuckled, walking over to her and leaning against the counter. "I think that rubber room is affecting you."

"Shut up." Maya put her spoon with the strawberry ice cream up to his lips. Miles ate the ice cream and she giggled, going back to eating it herself.

"Well that's rude" Miles commented.

"What is?" Maya questioned, around a mouthful of ice cream.

"You come in my kitchen and eat all of my food."

Maya sighed, dipping her finger in the ice cream and holding it out to him.

Miles licked the ice cream off, causing her to giggle again.

Maya went back to the ice cream and smiled. "Strawberry is my favorite. Then mint. Then cookie dough. What's yours?"

"Chocolate."

Maya laughed a little, amused as she looked down.

"What?" Miles inquired.

"Well it looks like I've found one thing you and Zig have in common! Your favorite ice cream flavor!" Maya continued to laugh as she ate, which became a problem as she started coughing.

Miles raised his eyebrows. "Is that so? I didn't think we had anything in common."

"Well that, and the fact that you're part of the male gender."

They were interrupted by Hunter, who was entering the kitchen. He was holding his laptop and had headphones on.

Miles chuckled in amusement. "Don't talk to him while he's playing Realm Of Doom."

Maya looked sideways at Miles and tried not to laugh. As Hunter opened the fridge and poured some juice, his eyes stayed glued to the screen.

"So, is he going to aknowlege our existence anytime soon?" Maya asked.

Miles reached forward and pulled down his brother's headphones.

Hunter glared at him. "Hey! I just started a new level!"

"Well end it" Miles replied. "We have a lot of work to do today for the election."

"No!" Hunter cried.

"Why?" Miles questioned. "Trying to save your princess again?"

"No." Hunter backed away as Miles tried to get a look at the screen. "Go back to your real life!"

He quickly grabbed his cup of juice and exited the room, talking into his headphones.

Maya's eyes widened a little. "Wow…you weren't kidding when you said he loved that game."

Hunter poked his head back in the room. "Oh and also, I could hear you two having sex on the couch over my headphones."

Maya blushed a bright pink as he left, going back to her ice cream.
