It had been a long day. Elsa sighed as she pulled the covers over herself. Nothing beat the pure bliss of crawling into her own bed after a hard day of being queen.

Well, maybe one thing beat it.

"I thought you'd never come to bed," Anna said, scooting over to snuggle up close to Elsa and wrapping her arms around her waist.

"Me neither," Elsa said. She put her head on Anna's shoulder, feeling the wonderful warmth of her, melting into the lovely bliss that came from being so very loved.

Of course, relaxing was the last thing on Anna's mind.

Her warm hand began to trace slow lines up and down Elsa's back. Her fingers trailed lower and lower each time.

Elsa lifted her head and gave her a look that she hoped conveyed annoyance at the fact that she never got to rest in bed. It would probably have helped if she was actually annoyed.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" Anna asked with a suggestive eyebrow wiggle.

"If you make that joke one more time..." Elsa said, trying to keep the smile off her face. She leaned in. Anna's hand stopped it's wandering as Elsa kissed her so thoroughly that it left the both of them quite breathless.

"You'll kiss me if I make that joke?" Anna giggled as Elsa got onto her hands and knees. Her braid swung down over her shoulder as she straddled herself over the redhead. "That's not a very good incentive to stop, dear sister."

Elsa smirked and began to kiss along Anna's jaw, up to her ear. She nipped at her ear, making Anna shiver with pleasure.

"I will do much more than that, my love," she promised. She scooted down along Anna's body until she was straddling her knees. She tugged at the hem of the pale green nightgown, pulling it up until she could see the smooth skin of Anna's belly. She leaned down to kiss her just below the naval.

The door burst open. "Elsaaaa!"

She nearly leapt straight into the air in shock, nearly falling off the bed but for Anna grabbing her.

"Annnnaaa!" She looked towards the door. Olaf was waddling toward them. He had tears in his eyes and was clutching the teddy bear that Anna had given him for his 'birthday'.

"Olaf? What's wrong?" Elsa asked. Her heart was racing. Anna was shoving her nightgown back down around her knees, her face the colour of a strawberry. Elsa was sure she looked the same.

"I-" the snowman stopped to blow his carrot-nose into the teddy bear, "I had a nightmare!"

Elsa stared at the snowman in disbelief. A nightmare? She wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.

"Oh, no," Anna said, always so much more patient with him.

"Can I... can I stay in here with you guys?" he asked. He looked at them, still blinking away tears and clutching the snotty teddy.

Elsa looked at Anna. They traded the long, beleaguered look of parents everywhere. How had they become the parents of a sentient snowman? And why? Why, why, why hadn't he waited just half an hour? Elsa sighed. "Of course, Olaf."

His face split into a toothy grin, and he leapt up on the bed. Elsa lay back, staring at the ceiling as he settled next to her. Between her and Anna.

"Why don't you tell us about your nightmare?" Anna suggested.

As his personal snowstorm deposited fat flakes on snow on to the pillows, he launched into a long explanation. Something about Sven and an evil carrot that had chased them. He snuggled into the bed – right between them – still talking at a rapid fire pace. Elsa suppressed a groan.

Anna meerly got out of bed to put on some extra layers. It was going to be a long night.
