AN: I'm not much of a writer but I can't stop thinking about Misty being stuck in Hell and Cordelia's sobbing so I had to write something.
"If you won't dissect a dead frog, then you will dissect a live one."
"No, I don't want to kill a living thing. Please you can't make me," Misty pleads as her biology teacher forces the scalpel and her hand towards the innocent frog.
Sequere lucem. Venite ad me.
Misty looks up to the source of the heavenly voice as she feels the scalpel slice open the frog.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" wails Misty
"Shhh, it's okay. You're safe now," says Cordelia soothingly. She strokes Misty hair while holding in her own tears.
"I didn't want this! I don't want to do this anymore!" her voice cracks in anguish. The torment of her hell is still vividly playing in her mind.
She vanishes, leaving Cordelia to conclude the worst. "She was here! She was just here!" she bellows.
"Maybe she transmutated," suggests Zoe.
"I wonder what her Hell was?" says Queenie
"Stevie Nicks probably just told swampy how she really feels," replies Madison.
"Poor girl, she barely made it out in time," says Myrtle.
Cordelia stands up. Her voice shakes slightly at first, but it straightens out, "I'll go find her. Then we will continue the tests."
Cordelia finds Misty crying in the greenhouse. She's twirling with the shawl Stevie Nicks gave her. Tears soak her face.
"Misty."
"Go away," she demands.
"Misty, do you want to talk about it?" Slowly, Cordelia approaches the twirling figure.
"Why'd you let me go to that awful place," says Misty. She stops twirling, her eyes brimming with sorrow as she looks at the woman she thought was her friend.
"You could be the next Supreme," reasons Cordelia.
"I'm not the next Supreme," she says and resumes twirling.
"How do you know?" says the Headmistress still nearing the swamp witch.
Misty ceases twirling once again, "I'm not as strong as the other girls. It took me awhile to move my candlestick and those girls did it like it was as easy as breathing. And I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for that angel calling me back."
"Angel?" Cordelia is close enough that when she reaches her hand out she touches Misty's shoulder.
"I heard a voice up above telling me to come. It saved me," reveals Misty. Cordelia embraces Misty, effectively hiding the tear that slides down her countenance.
"Sequere lucem. Venite ad me," she whispers.
"That was you? You're my angel?" says Misty, hugging the Headmistress back.
"I'm sorry," says Cordelia still embracing Misty, "You don't have to finish but we already know you can do five of the Seven Wonders."
"I don't want to be Supreme, and I don't ever want to go back to Hell again," states the swamp witch letting go of her friend, who also releases her.
"You won't have to," she says with a reassuring smile, "Now come on the other girls need to continue the tests."
