Note: I just don't know. Give me a break, its based off a picture by Ann Stokes. The picture was also turned into a beautiful statue. This is just a little one shot written for Abby.
War watched his brother's every move when he stepped into the graveyard. Death had been disappearing for a few weeks every so often. Now he wanted to know why since it had been going on for so long now.
He was surprised when he saw his oldest brother walk up to a human girl that looked to be around eighteen or nineteen. Her long hair blew around her in the wind. Her corset and long skirt made her look as if she had come from the old Salem days.
She turned around to reveal an hourglass in her hands, a smile gracing her face when she saw his brother. She shifted the hourglass to one hand so she could pull her dress up enough so she could run to him without tripping, her bare feet going as fast as she could.
Death's arms caught her around her waist when she reached him, her arms quickly wrapping around his neck. War was shocked and was ready to walk out and ask questions until a hand grabbed his shoulder.
"Don't even think about it, little brother."
"Fury, his mate is human?"
"She was human, a witch." Fury took her hand from his shoulder and smiled, "Look at him, War. Have you ever seen him so happy?"
War turned around to see Death had taken his mask off, his lips on the witch's.
"He... He took his mask off..." The youngest of the horseman almost blushed when he turned to see the female's dress pulled up, her legs around Death's waist and lips in a passionate battle with his, "This has been going on for how long?"
"Since before she was burned at the stake. Death brought her here so her spell of immortality would heal her body. She made this place her home."
The entire place was dark like night had fallen, half of it was an old graveyard. The rest looked to be a forest with flowers and fireflies. In the middle was a large ring of mushrooms when the fireflies seemed to gather and light up the area. Books littered the area, some randomly placed and some in neat stacks.
Death nuzzled his face in her neck, "I was wondering when you would summon me again."
"I didn't want to interrupt anything." She smiled and placed her fingertips on his lips, "My body is completely healed now."
"You can travel the realms now and come back with me." He kissed her forehead, "We'll be together like we intended before the humans took you from me and burned you alive."
"The burning wasn't bad, I thought of you the entire time to try and ignore the pain. But everything is alright now."
"That it is, love. No one will take you from me ever again."
