"Look Mommy! I dressed myself!"

Anna turned around, wiping her sweaty brow and sighing. However, once looking at the little boy who had called for her attention, she couldn't help but let a little bit of stress leave her face and a smile as a substitute.

Aaron, her three year old son beamed up at his mother, spreading his chubby arms out wide and poking out his tummy proudly. His blonde hair was sticking up in all the wrong places, little gobs of gel reflecting off the dining room chandelier. The freckles on his cheeks danced in anticipation of approval of his outfit; a white tank with a ratty Disneyland sweater over it (which was backwards), a pair of khaki shorts, two different colored socks that were falling haphazardly down his stocky legs, and blue swimming shoes. "I know you look very busy, so I decided to get dressed all by myself. You always say to match, so I put the blue shoes with the blue on Donald's shirt!" he explained, pointy a grubby little finger towards his chest.

"That's a very good observation, sweetheart," Anna replied with a grin, bending down to his height. "And I am very proud of you for doing this all by yourself! Though I think there's a bit too much color going on here," she tugged on his shirt to fix the collar. "Why don't we go upstairs and try something else on? I'll give you some choices and you can pick which ones you want," she suggested happily, taking his hand and walking up the beige staircase. "After all, it is Auntie Elsa coming, and you know how much she loves when you wear the sweater vests."

It was the morning of Christmas Eve and Anna couldn't be more stressed out. She had had this brilliant idea to host Christmas this year. At the time, it had seemed easy and fun. After all, she wouldn't have to pack any of the kids' toys and other necessities, and being eight months pregnant wouldn't be the best time to travel anyway. Luckily, the only people coming were her sister and parents. Elsa had graciously offered her apartment to their parents for the two weeks they were staying in New York. Anna felt relieved, as she had far too much to do than think about cleaning the guest bedroom (which really was a half office half storage room)- like dressing her two children for dinner.

"Alright, let's see here," Anna pondered aloud, flipping her nimble fingers through the hangers. "How about...this one?" she asked, showing the toddler a deep purple polo and dark trousers. He grimaced and shook his head passionately. Anna giggled. "Alright, so that's a no. What about...hm?" she showed him a hunter green and navy blue plaid sweater with long khaki pants. He shrugged in approval. Anna could tell he was already bored with this. His mind went as fast as the tires on a race car. He always wanted to move on to the next most fascinating thing, which sometimes didn't allow Anna anytime at all to relax.

Helping him undress, the little boy yawned and spoke out again. "Mommy, where's Daddy and sissy?"

"I already told you, silly," she responded sweetly, pulling up his new apparel. "They went to get some last minute groceries for Mommy to make dinner with."

"Yeah, but that was so loooong ago," he whined, carrying out the 'o' for far too long.

Anna couldn't help but childishly giggle at her son's predictable antics. "Don't worry, they'll be home soon enough."

Suddenly, the front door slammed open and both of them could hear a squeaky giggle and grocery bags clanking against one another. "We're home!" a feminine voice rung out with a melodic tone. "And we brought food!" Kristoff's all too familiar voice added.

Aaron's face lit up as bright as the Christmas tree standing majestically in their living room. "Daddy!" he squealed, running out of his bedroom with his shirt untucked, much to his mother's dismay.

Anna followed his clumsy clunking down the stairs to greet the rest of her family. Her daughter Sydney was trying to help put groceries away. Anna greeted her with a side hug and reached up to put the food in the cabinets too high for her five year old body to reach. Turning to face her husband, Anna kissed his chastely on the lips, trying to avoid the bundle of craziness his right arm was holding tightly. "Hi," she greeted, smiling and ignoring her children's disgusted sounds at the sight of their public display of affection.

"Hi," he greeted back with a smile, tickling his son when he began to make 'eww kissing!' grumbles. "Hey, little man. Looking good," he commented, looking at his new outfit.

"It would look better if he wouldn't keep messing up his collar," Anna snarked, reaching up to fix his twisted shirt. "Sydney, sweetie, go put on your dress, okay? I laid it out of your bed," Anna told her daughter, who nodded vigorously without question and skipped up the stairs, her long blonde locks bouncing on her head and shoulders. She had been begging Anna to wear it all day, and now that the guest would be arriving soon, Anna finally gave in to her pleads, praying she wouldn't get anything dirty on the dress.

"Hey, little man. Why don't you finish cleaning up the play room?" Kristoff suggested putting down the toddler and ruffling his dark red hair teasingly.

"Do I have to?" he whined with a grimace on his tiny mouth.

"Aaron," Anna raised her eyebrows. "Do what you're told."

He sighed dramatically and turned around slowly to start his journey towards the play room.

The couple laughed at his theatrical exit and relished in the quietness which definitely would not be lasting long. Anna wrapped her arms around her husband's thick neck while in response Kristoff slithered his arms around her waist, which still remained tiny after two kids and another on the way. Kristoff sighed and leaned down to kiss his bride of six years. Anna kissed him back passionately. She pulled away rashly, however, knowing she had far too much on her plate to be fooling around. "Whoa there, cowboy. I still got to get dinner ready, and clean the bathroom, and hell! I have to get myself ready! I-"

She was quieted again by another forceful kiss. "You need to calm down. The house is spotless; you've been cleaning it for two days and you haven't even allowed Aaron to play with his toys for the last week. Go get yourself prettier than you already are and I'll start dinner, okay?" Kristoff explained, pecking her lips again at her gaping mouth in protest. "And I can get ready in two seconds, don't worry. I'll look presentable before your family is here," he added with a knowing smirk.

"You know me too well," Anna hummed, kissing him quickly again and walking up the stairs. "Also don't forget to-"

"I know, I know. Wash the vegetables before putting them in the salad," Kristoff finished her thought yet again from his spot in the kitchen.

The soft sounds of nostalgic Christmas music, laughter, and disheveled wrapping paper being ripped aimlessly echoed through the two story, suburban house. Lights from the tree and sparks from the fireplace illuminated the heartwarming scene. It was that blissful time after the dinner dishes had all been cleared and the family gathered in the living room, relishing in each others company and the magic of the holidays. Irish coffees had been served to all the adults, while the children played on the ground with the new toys they had received from their grandparents.

"It's good to be home," Elsa sighed with a smile, tucking in her knees and leaning back in the recliner. She had been traveling all around Europe on different jobs. Her modeling career was just growing, her beautifully thin body still intact. Designers and photographers were practically breaking down her door for a chance to work with her. She had a permanent apartment in New York, though she hardly ever inhabited it due to her busy schedule. However, she always found time to visit her favorite niece and nephew (which were also her only ones, but who's counting). "I missed your craziness," she lifted an eyebrow towards Kristoff and Anna.

"Hey! We're not that crazy!" Anna protested with a smile, leaning back on her husband, who shared a love seat.

"You know you love it," Kristoff smirked, wrapping his muscular arm around his wife's torso and letting them fall on her pregnant belly, rubbing it softly. "And it would be less crazy if you stayed at home long enough to enjoy it. It feels like every day you're traveling to a new country."

Elsa waved him off. "You wouldn't be saying that if you took a look at my paycheck," she licked her teeth and raised her eyebrows smugly.

"Hey, I make plenty of money," Kristoff argued.

"That's right!" Aaron spoke up, stopping his board game with his grandfather to nose his way into the conversation. "He's a very important business man. He has a beecase and everything."

"It's briefcase, stupid," Sydney corrected, dolls in her hands as she sat next to her beloved grandmother.

"Sydney!" Kristoff chastised with a stern glare. "What did I say about that word?"

"Sorry," she apologized, blushing and continuing to play with her dolls.

"And that way my gorgeous wife can stay at home and be with the kids. I support my family wonderfully," Kristoff spoke back to Elsa, his smirk showing how he proved her wrong.

"Fine, fine." Elsa gave in with a roll of her blue eyes. "Hey, are those sleigh bells I hear?" she added with a naive innocence, trying to get the children's curiosity.

Much to her delight, they perked up. "What?" they spoke simultaneously with a gasp.

"You're right," Kristoff played along and took a glance at his watch. "Oh my goodness! Santa's due to arrive any minute now!"

The children squealed in delight.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" George asked, gesturing them to get up and climb the stairs. "We have to go to bed! Otherwise he might skip our house!"

Listening with wide eyes, the children obeyed and scampered up the stairs. "We'll put them to bed," Anna looked at her father with a grateful expression, her back too sore and feet too swollen to get up.

"Thanks, guys," she smiled as her aging parents climbed the stairs after the over excited children.

The trio fell into a comfortable silence. Elsa tapped her fingers along her mug obnoxiously. She was hoping her family would have noticed the change in her attire a long time ago, but it seems the stress of the holidays left them clueless. Sighing in defeat, she decided she needed to just come out and say it. It was a good thing Kristoff didn't go into the detective branch. "Sooo... notice anything different about me?" she continued to tap her fingers against the warm cup.

The domestic couple looked at her with puzzled glances. "Haircut?" Kristoff guessed.

"New foundation?" Anna inferred.

"No," Elsa replied with an annoyed expression. She finally gave in and waved her left hand around dramatically. "I'M ENGAGED!"

Anna squealed while her husband gasped. "He proposed?!" Anna exclaimed, moving as fast as her pregnant body would let her to examine the ring more closely. "Oh my goodness, Elsa! I'm so happy for you!"

"So Jack finally got the balls to propose. How'd he pop the question?" Kristoff asked.

"We were on a beach in Madrid. We were walking off dinner, and he just...did it!" Elsa explained vaguely, letting Anna scrutinize over the beautiful rock.

"Elsa this is amazing!" The sisters' smiles radiated through the room.

"Took him long enough," Kristoff teased. "I mean, seven years? I applaud your patience, Elsa. Anna would never be able to wait that long," he smirked with a chuckle.

"Hey!" Anna protested.

"It's true," Elsa sided with Kristoff, giving Anna a knowing look.

Anna sighed in defeat. "Fine. But that's why he didn't waste any time with me," she smiled and sent a wink towards the bulky blonde.

"And I couldn't be happier on how it turned out," Kristoff replied with another copied wink.

"You guys are sickeningly cute. And to think, I thought six years all this disgusting flirting would end. But I was wrong," Elsa shook her head.

"Just you wait," Kristoff warned. "We'll be saying the same to you once those vows are said."
