"Weiss! Weiss! Weiss, Weiss, Weiss!" The name was blurring into a giant headache that thudded around the heiress's temples.

She had been sitting in her armchair, curled up with a book that Blake had convinced her to read, when Ruby had bounded in, the young Faunus girl and her perky puppy ears flopping endearingly around the top of her head. Ruby shook the snow from her hair, spraying Weiss with a flurry of cold slush. She was about to snap, but managed to breathe, just thinking about the look that Ruby would give her if she yelled, those wide silver eyes watering with tears.

Ruby slid off her red snow coat, and shook her head side to side vigorously. Weiss clenched her teeth.

"Oh hi, Weiss! Have you gone outside today? It's snowing and it's great! It's pretty cold but I think it's great. Wanna go outside for a walk? Let's go on a walk! It's great outside. Did I mention that already? I don't know. But anyways, do you want to go?" Ruby's quick and jumbled sentences made Weiss close her book and sigh. Weiss sighed three times in a row, and rubbed her eyes. The Faunus girl was now running around Weiss's chair in circles while rambling about the snow.

"Snow is so magical! They remind me of everything about winter. That's weird, because snow is in winter. Isn't that weird, Weiss? I just think that's so weird. I swear, Weiss, the snow makes me so happy. Let's go, let's go, and let's go outside!" Ruby was now singing in a high soprano voice.

Weiss had her head in her hands now, her book and quiet evening long forgotten. Ruby noticed this, her partner's turmoil and annoyance. Ruby stopped and kneeled by Weiss's feet, rocking back onto her toes, and placed her hands on Weiss's knees.

"Are you alright, Weiss?" Ruby whispered, her eyes watering with slow tears. Weiss lifted her head from her hands, the white hair that fell around her face curtaining around her lips.

"I'm fine. Actually, I'm perfect." Weiss said quietly. Weiss tipped Ruby's chin up gently and leaned down. Their lips grazed each other's in a soft kiss, and they sat there, Ruby on her knees, and Weiss, quiet and regal in her chair. Lips, soft and sweet were now stronger, applying pressure and passion to the others. Ruby's ears were wiggling in excitement.

In a burst, the door was thrust open. Blake and Yang stumbled in, their lips locked onto every accessible patch of skin. Their moans and pants made Ruby and Weiss look in a surprise. Blake was wrapping her legs around Yang's waist, and the blonde was lifting her in midair. The team members stared at each other, mid-kiss, and Yang slowly closed the door while holding Blake with one hand.

Weiss and Ruby turned to each other, and Ruby brushed her lips on Weiss's cheek. "I like you, Weiss."

"I like you too, Ruby." Weiss said with a soft laugh. She got up and pulled on her coat. "C'mon, Ruby. Let's go outside."
