Kirk told Bones and Carol to wait outside in case something happened, they pretended to just having a chat outside so they blended in.
The group from the future stood outside Sherlocks Home. Everyone was wondering why this person Sherlock was so important to Khan. Why had Khan typed in Sherlocks name in the date base?
The door opened to reveal quite an ordinary looking man however Kirks eyes narrowed, quickly recognising the mans stance and the slight bulge in his pocket, he had a gun on him. Maybe this was the man they were looking for?
"Are you Sherlock Holmes?" Spock asked directly.
The man stared at them for a long time then, looking a little defensive he said "Who wants to know?"
Kirk quickly introduced himself, Spock and Scotty.
"We have some business to discuss with you?" Kirk said.
The man looked more relaxed but he shook his head "With Sherlock you mean? Sorry I'm not him. His upstairs being a lazy ass. Come in. I assume this is some sort of case?"
"Case?" Spock asked, confused.
Kirk elbowed him then replied, lying through his teeth, not really sure what this man was talking about "Yes it is"
The man nodded then said with a chuckle as they got to the top stairs and he opened the door "Okay, just speak quickly and make sure you're not boring"
Everyone was confused, who was this Sherlock?
He sounded important?
The room had an odd victorian vibe to it.
They remembered that women and man looking at them strangely when they told her they hadn't known him.
"They're not here for a case John, use your eyes" A smooth yet calculating and strangely familiar voice said.
Someone got of from the chair in front of the fire.
They gaped, Khan was standing before them!
Scotty reached for his gun but Kirk stopped him, this didn't make sense.
The man before them looked like Khan scarily but he wasn't as tall, or musclier, more quite thin and his hair was curly. Though his appearance didn't look as intimidating as Khans, his eyes sure did.
They didn't have a menacing quality that Khans did, they seemed like his eyes were staring through them, seeing into their souls and knowing all their secrets with just one look, it wasn't a nice feeling.
The man they now new as John looked a little more wary "They're not?"
The other man smiled tightly at the guests "No but they were defiantly looking for me for some reason"
Spock asked bluntly "Are you Sherlock Holmes?"
The man said, his voice taking on a nastier tone "Make a deduction"
"Sherlock" John warned his friend.
Sherlock stood in front of them, his eyes swiftly traveling down and upwards, over them and their clothes, a look of confusion past over Sherlocks face before it was gone as if had never happened.
"Well, whatever you want you have got my interest gentleman, why don't you sit down, you're journey must have been a long one" He said, his voice somehow suddenly over polite.
Something bothered Scotty about that sentence but he couldn't understand why as Sherlock showed them to a sofa they could all sit on.
Kirk saw how strained Sherlocks smile was, which looking back should have set warning alarm bells ringing inside his head.
As they were sitting down Spock noticed Sherlock mutter something in Johns ear. With his keen senses he heard the words "Names, Mycroft and check out"
John through the group a wary even more worried look before he quickly exited the scene.
They were a little tense now, something was defiantly up.
Sherlock sat down on the sofa opposite them, a strange gleam in his eyes, his lips curled in a mocking smile.
"So, lets get down to business shall we?" Sherlock asked, though it wasn't a question.
"Lets" Kirk agreed, though he was now asking himself what had he gotten him and his crew in for now?
