Enzan stumbled tiredly through the door to his apartment, throwing his keys haphazardly onto the kitchen counter as he walked by it.

God, I'm tired, he thought, realizing through his haze that his stamina was dropping lately. Before, he'd been able to take 2 or 3 all-nighters like it was nothing, but just one lately and he was down for the count. He cut the thought train short as he made it through the doorway to his room and flopped down on the freshly-made bed. Looks like he'd left earlier than usual today. Shame, Enzan had been looking forward to some sleepy cuddling.

Oh well. He could just think about it, which was almost the same as the real thing, and drift off to sleep with that slight half-grin on his face.
Which he promptly did.

5 hours later and Netto walked through the door to his apartment, noting happily that there was a pair of shoes discarded by the door. Looks like he'd managed to get out of work long enough to come home and sleep for a while. Netto frowned thoughtfully as he took off his shoes.

He'd originally had Enzan move in with him because of Blues, who had informed Rockman that Enzan had been getting way too little sleep and nourishment lately and was running on pure fumes and caffeine, and Rockman had in turn told Netto. And, he added with a mental smile, Enzan had been getting better about taking care of himself. He seemed happier, too, but Netto thought that maybe that was just that Enzan was always marginally happier around him.

Though he had originally just skated home to have some lunch during his break, Netto decided that he may as well check up on Enzan, who, presumably, had gone off to their bedroom to sleep. Netto was still a little flustery about the fact that they shared a room and a bed, but it wasn't like he had the kind of paycheck to rent more than a 1-room apartment, and he wasn't about to let Enzan sleep on the couch.

Netto walked over to their room, poking his head through the door quietly only to see exactly what he expected to see. Enzan was curled up - quite adorably, he might add - on top of the comforter, having not even bothered to take off his jacket before falling asleep. Netto entered the room almost silently, trying not to wake the slightly older man as he went over to where he laid.

Enzan's breath was slow and even, and so very inviting. Netto wanted nothing more than to lay down next to him and fall asleep. But... his brow furrowed. He had work. If he didn't come back to do it, not only would Rockman be mad with him, but he might incur the Almighty Wrath of his superiors.

But the bed looked so comfortable...

A little nap wouldn't hurt, would it? His inner voice whispered, and Netto gave in instantly, taking off his jacket and dropping it to the floor before laying down next to Enzan.

Taking advantage of the fact that the other Net Op was most likely still asleep, he snuggled up a little closer to Enzan and closing his eyes contently.

And then the unexpected happened. Enzan's arms came up around him and squeezed him tightly, and Netto's eyes flew open to see a very sleepy Enzan smiling at him. Netto felt his ears warm up a bit as he looked into the other man's eyes, which, he noted absently, were wonderfully blue, seeing nothing but affection and sleepiness in them. Then Enzan's eyes slipped back shut and his smile mellowed out a bit as he slipped back into sleep.

Well, what the heck, Netto thought, resigning himself to the not-so-bad fate of being stuck with cuddling and sleeping together for a few hours.

Rockman could handle his work for him for a little bit, anyways.

A/N: Well, I went through Imagine Your Otp for a while earlier, and I saw a post and it just inspired me so I spat this out in around 45 minutes. It's probably not very good though lmao
