Starting Over
AN: Hey everyone! Guess who's back! And I do apologize for the very long wait on this story!

Levi stared in shock and dropped everything he was doing and rushed over to the two, "Stop both of you!" Levi demanded,
"Oh lookie here, come to join us fucker?" Eren drawled and pulled out a dagger he always kept on himself, having noticed that Levi was trying to distract him he turned his attention back to Hanji who was having trouble breathing due to the kick which probably shattered something. "Get up four-eyes, were not done!" he grinned and slowly started to make his way towards the downed woman.
Levi knew that the situation was not going well and did the only thing that came to his mind and speed dialled Erwin.
Erwin sat at his table, eyes closed thinking about what Levi had wanted to complain about, but nothing really sprang to his mind. Ring ring 'Speak of the devil' Erwin thought as he looked at his phone, "What seems to be the problem Levi?" Erwin sighed but immediately regretted it as soon as Levi started to shout in the phone, "Understood, I'll be there as soon as possible. Don't go near Eren though, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you." he urged, as he ended the call he quickly got up and shook his head. Eren just had to make his life harder then it should have been.
Levi had shouted at the kids who were watching what was going on and got them to leave the place, he didn't know what Eren would do but he knew that he wouldn't let the boy hurt any of the other students. "Eren, you've gotten slower!" a male voice hollered, Levi, Hanji and Eren both turned to see Erwin slowly making his way towards them.
"Erwin! Don't encourage him!" Levi shouted, baffled at the man. "He could have seriously hurt Hanji!" Erwin smiled at Levi and put his hand on the shorter man's shoulder,
"She can take care of herself"
"But you're right Erwin! Eren has gotten slower." she mussed, "You know what that means Eren!" she turned to him with that creepy look and immediately Eren knew that there was going to be trouble ahead.
"uhh, I haven't gotten slower. It's your imagination," he shot back, there was no way that he was gonna go through that again! "Besides, Hanji shouldn't be coming up to me for no reason!" he retorted but Erwin payed no heed to it.
Hanji laughed and ruffled Eren's hair, "Oi, how many times do I have to tell you not to mess my hair?" he laughed, taking Levi off guard.
Just a few minutes ago Eren and Hanji were going to be engaged in a what seemed to be a death fight and now, both calm. Levi couldn't wrap his mind around the situation.
"Levi, I believe the bell has rung. Don't you have a class to teach?" Erwin urged, trying to get the man to leave,
"Tch, yea" he sighed and turned away, "Get Eren out of my beginners French class and put him somewhere else," he added as a side note with a hint of anger but otherwise he left it at that and headed back to his classroom.
Hanji, Eren and Erwin watch in anticipation as Levi left and breathed a sigh of relief that none if them knew where holding.
"Nah, sorry Eren, you know I like to pick on you" Hanji laughed and watched Eren smile,
"What I want to know is what happened between you and Levi, he's never asked for anybody to be transferred out of his class before." Erwin asked and looked at the boy who tried laughing it off, "Well -"
"Yea what happened? Seems like you don't like that man much," Hanji interrupted,
Eren looked down as he recalled the kiss he had with the man when he was in the classroom. "Well thats a funny thing, nothing happene-"
"Eren" Erwin warned and looked at him, judging him,
"Fine! Things happened and I sort of ended up kissing him, then told him that he was disgusting" he blabbed but instantly covered his mouth, he couldn't believe that his own mouth would betray him like that. Hanji and Erwin both gapped at the boy
"You kissed him?!" Hanji shouted making Erwin cringe at the loudness of her voice,
"So?" he silently uttered but could feel his face going red none the less. "Besides it was his fault in a way." he defended. "Erwin, what are you going to do about the class switch?" he asked but as soon as he saw the smile on the principles face he knew he was going to regret it.
"Levi asked for you to be taken out of beginners French, so I will put you in his advanced class" he smiled as if that would solve all the problems. "But please do refrain from kissing him on campus, otherwise there is no problem, as long as you don't get caught" the man winked and signalled for Eren to follow him.
"Ah, see you later tonight Hanji! We're all sold out!" Eren exclaimed and waved bye to the crazy chemistry teacher who waved back in return and started to walk in the opposite direction of the two.
Eren followed Erwin into the office and watched as Erwin took his seat and pulled out some paper, "This will be your pass for now to get into Levi's class which has started," he explained as he wrote some things on it and held it out for Eren to take. "I will finish the transfer documentation later today and get Levi to sign it. Also you should get going on, you know how Levi is." he chuckled and watched the boy go, "Oh and Eren!" he quickly stopped the boy,
"Hu? Is something wrong?"
"No, I just wanted to wish you luck for tonight. I know a lot of people are excited for the show." he smiled and watched the boy go red. Eren nodded and closed the door.
Eren clenchd his hands into fists, this was going to be beyond mortifying, 'Why couldn't he just transfer me to someone else's class?' he thought to himself but shrugged it off as he could Levi speaking to the class, his voice soothing, and gentle. He chuckled to himself, and knocked on the door.
"Entrer"
God he was going to be in trouble!
Everyone watched as the door opened up to reveal a smallish boy with raven black hair.
Levi froze up, praying it wasn't who he thought and that it was under different circumstances.
"Pourquoi n'êtes-vous pas en classe?" he finally asked, hoping that his voice didn't shake,
Eren held his breath a little, he couldn't believe that he was getting flustered over something so simple as speaking with the man. "Erwin m'a envoyé, c'est la classe à laquelle j'ai été transféré"
Levi grimaced, "Prenez ce siège ici alors" he sighed, a little defeated and pointed Eren to the only empty seat which was right next to his desk. Why was he so cursed with bad luck?
Eren made his way to the front and finally gave Levi the letter, Levi nodded at Eren as a thanks and looked back at the book. There was no way that he could teach the class today. "C'est tout pour aujourd'hui. Travaillez juste sur vos devoirs," he addressed and went to his desk, unconsciously swiping his hand across Eren's desk and finally sat in his chair.
"Levi, que devrais-je faire?" everyone stopped what they were doing, Levi snapped his head up. There was hushed talking going on,
"The boy has guts," a girl with a tan complexion whispered to a small blonde haired girl who nodded in agreement.
"Stop talking the both of you," another girl with blonde hair hissed, she didn't want her friends to get in trouble,
"A-Annie, I thought you fell asleep!"
"Really Ymir? I don't fall asleep easily, unlike you and Historia." she smiled and quickly inspected the boy who was getting shouted at.
"Dumb boy,"
"L'enfer m'avez-vous appelé?"
"Levi?" he inwardly smiled, he didn't know by just calling the man's named would get a reaction out of him.
"Vous restez après la classe, comprise?" Levi hissed and threw open a book so he could get his mind off of the boy.
Eren played his head down and drifted off to sleep, leaving Levi to control his anger.
"Eren, you didn't need to wait for me,"
"I know but I thought that we could go home together since, you know, since… we're dating" Eren blushed, "Levi, actually, I have a better idea." Eren stepped closer to the man and wrapped his arms around the older's waist and drew him closer
"Eren, not here," Levi whispered but put his head against Eren's chest, Eren smiled and lifted up Levi's head and went in for a kiss. Levi smiled into the kiss and pressed harder into it -
"Wake the hell up shitty brat!" the shout startled Eren up from his sleep. Eren looked up to see Levi scowling at him.
'Shit! That was! Oh my god!' Eren turned bright red and looked away from the man. "I-I'm awake!" he shouted back, his voice breaking. 'Dear lord why did I have to have a dream about him of all people!' he inwardly shouted at himself.
"Look at me when I'm talking." he started as a shout but lowered it, "please" that got Eren off guard
"Well well, Levi seems like -"
"Oh shut up brat!" Levi snarled, "Eren, why do you keep causing me so much trouble? And was that anyway to talk to a teacher? By calling their name?!" Levi sighed and sat onto of his desk, one leg over the other.
'Woah! He's so slender! Stop! Don't think those thoughts!' "Oh come on, I mean even after THAT you still won't let me call you by your name? I thought that we we're beyond teacher student" Eren and Levi both looked at each other, mouths wide open. Eren couldn't believe what he said and Levi couldn't believe what he heard.
"Get out of my class, now" he screamed, this wasn't happening to him. Of all things.
Eren gritted his teeth, this was not how he wanted this to go over but quickly got out of the classroom only to bump into Erwin.
"Whats going on in there? I've never heard Levi shout like that" he looked at Eren concerned.
"It was my mistake, I said something I shouldn't have." he lowered his head in shame,
Erwin tsked and shook his head.
"Lets go, you need to apologize to him, seems like hasn't been having a good week and you aren't helping much." Eren nodded and followed Erwin into the classroom, Levi was sitting at his desk, head in hands and grumbling something to himself.
Erwin nudged Eren forward and to also start his apology,
"Levi, I- I'm sorry for how I acted and sorry for calling you only by your first name earlier, and now." Eren called out, and waited for Levi to look up.
Erwin cleared his throat, at that moment Levi looked up, "Eren, Levi I have important news for you both," Eren looked confused as did Levi.
'I'm going to get fired!' they both thought,
"Do to certain circumstances, Eren will be living with us and staying in the spare room," Erwin announced with a smile on his face.
Levi's entire life shattered then, there was no way that he could stand to be around that brat on his days off as well!
"Are you -"
"No, I decline Erwin. I can live on my own." Eren interrupted Levi, he looked at Erwin hoping that he would accept.
"I'm sorry I can not let you do that Eren, since your father is dead and you are a minor you have to live with someone. Since you don't have any relatives or anyone you will stay with me." he finished, making it so that there was going to be no arguments about it.
Levi was in shock, Eren's father was dead? He felt pity for the boy, maybe thats why he acted out in class. He shook his head,
"Levi, I hope you are alright with the arrangement," Erwin asked his friend Levi nodded, not trusting his voice. "Well then I guess we are all on first bases with the names." He beamed,
"Hi Levi, my name's Eren. Starting today we'll be living together, I hope we get along" Eren smiled, and held out his hand for Levi to shake which the older man did reluctantly.
"Alright then! Time to celebrate! We have an addition to the family, we're going out tonight!" Erwin exclaimed and since the day was over he led Eren and Levi out of the classroom.
