"Rachel, wake up." Quinn shook her side, and she groaned. "It's our last day at school, wake up."

She peeled her eyes open, and nodded. "I'm awake."

Rachel dragged herself out of bed, and took in Quinn's pajama pants and tank top. She raised an eyebrow sleepily.

Quinn explained. "I don't care anymore. I spent years of my life wearing cheerleading uniform to school. Today, I wear pajamas. So do you."

Rachel sighed, but didn't argue. The pregnancy was taking a lot out of her, and she arguing over pajamas was not on the agenda. Puking, apparently, was. She stood up, and immediately felt her stomach turn. She bolted for the bathroom, slamming the door open in front of her, and vomited.

Quinn hurried in after her, pulling her hair out of her face and tying it with one of the elastics she kept around her wrist.

"Pajamas sounds good." She said, a bit out of breath, and got up to brush her teeth. "You want to go grab me some?" Rachel made a pouty face, and Quinn laughed, nodding and getting her some clean pajamas.

Amazingly, after she got sick, Rachel actually felt better. She practically chirped when she saw Beth, and cuddled her while she waited.

Quinn brought her the clothes, and she changed before they went downstairs. "Coffee?"

Quinn nodded, so Rachel started brewing a pot, humming softly to Beth as she moved around the kitchen.

"Did you tell Noah that we were having a pajama day?" She hopped up onto the counter, her coffee carefully placed and Beth held tightly against her still flat stomach.

Quinn shook her head. "Knowing him, he'd show up naked and claim it was because that was how he slept."

Rachel laughed, sipping her drink. Quinn wasn't wrong.

An alarm went off on Quinn's phone, and she stood up. "We'd better get going."

Rachel finished off her coffee and looked around for Judy, so that they could be off. Quinn noticed her searching, and shook her head.

"Mom's not taking Beth today; we're going to bring her to school instead." A bit of mischief lit up in Quinn's eyes, and Rachel was surprised to see it. Quinn was usually such a good girl, not going against the rules. But Rachel grinned too.

"Everybody will love her!"

They piled into the car, and Quinn drove. Rachel turned up the radio, and the two girls started singing along to Taylor Swift, much to the amusement of Beth, who was giggling in her carseat.

Rachel quieted for a moment on the road just next to the school, where a marker had been placed for her daddy.

They were Jewish, so it wasn't a cross, but a pole stuck out of the ground, surrounded by flowers. Some of them were from Rachel, but the majority were well-wishers.

Quinn parked, and they walked inside.

Almost immediately, Kurt and Mercedes were at their side, cooing over Beth. They knew her, of course, from glee, but everybody loved her.

Rachel and Quinn made a deal. Since they didn't have any classes together before lunch, Rachel would take her until they ate, then Quinn would get her afterwards.

The bell rang, and everybody scattered. Quinn gave Beth a kiss, and scurried off to her first class; Algebra.

Rachel went to spanish, Beth sleeping in the crook of her arm, and got comfortable for entirely too short of a time before Sue barged in, pointing an accusatory finger at her. Mr. Schue stepped between them, but Sue wouldn't be stopped.

"You dare bring your product of teenage pregnancy into my school?" She glared, and Rachel shrank back into her seat, glad that Beth was asleep. The class watched, enraptured. "Principal's office, now!"

Rachel was practically shaking, but she shook her head anyway, daring to disobey. "I'm staying here. It's my last day at this school, and I intend to make the most of it. If you'll excuse me, I'm busy, doing my spanish assignment."

She looked down and continued writing.

Sue looked like she was having a heart attack. Schue looked like he was trying very hard not to laugh.

"Listen here, Barbara-" Sue started, but Rachel interrupted her. It was as if she'd been granted a lions share of the courage in the world, because she was calm as she stood and addressed Sue.

"My name is Rachel Berry, and I would like for you to please call me by it. You're not in charge of me anymore, Coach Sylvester, and I would like for you to know that you are specifically mentioned in my suit against the school. You're a bully, and it's unacceptable. Now, as I have previously stated, I have work to do."

Rachel sat back down, and Artie started clapping. Soon, the whole class was applauding. Sue stormed out, presumably to smash something.

Mr. Schue patted Rachel on the shoulder, but she was distracted. She had spanish homework to finish.

Word of her confrontation with Sue quickly spread around the school, and by lunch, people were looking at her with awe, instead of their usual mockery.

She took it with a grain of salt. Sure, she'd be their hero for an hour, but she'd been their scapegoat for years. One didn't cancel out the other.

Even Puck and Quinn seemed impressed at lunch.

"My little badass." He kissed her, and she grinned. Beth giggled as Quinn picked her up from her stroller.

Rachel laughed. "I didn't really do anything, just told the truth."

"In a badass way. Accept their love, my little Jewish American princess."

Quinn snorted. Rachel felt happier than she had in a long time.

She sat on Puck's lap for lunch, and they ate together, joking and having a good time.

This was what she'd always wanted; friends, a group to eat lunch with, people who cared about her. It was her dream.

And it had come true.
