When 17 year old Rose Hathaway gets assaulted at a drunk party, she gets saved by a stranger. After that night, she doesn't feel safe anymore and decides to take self-defense classes. What happens when she finds out that her new instructor is none other than Dimitri Belikov, the stranger who saved her that disastrous night? Will he be able to help her face her demons? And will love blossom along the way?
