Chapter 9

Hey Hey Hey I am back. This is ShiningButterfly at your service. Hello everybody who love this fanfic, I apologize for the terrible wait that I can not update for a long time. Many of you are that you saying that you are getting impatient, begging me to update giving Chapter 9 and need to know what happen since Aichi's mom is back out of know where, but don't worry it is in this chapter with new mysteries. School is up to me for most of the time with homework and tests, I will be more busy since I am going to a spring sport at my school where practice is for 2 hours and matches will be lined up. Spring Break is next month so I will be possible to post three or four chapter's if my family and I are not going anywhere. Anyway another thing is that this chapter is probably the shortest chapter in this story you can say that this is like a Part 1 of the story, but I hope you love it.

Aichi ran into the woman's arms, burying her face in the stranger's shoulder with tears pouring down her face "Oka-san Oka-san" Aichi sobbed, crying in the woman's chest. The woman had tears that slowly form on the corner of her eye, wrapping her arms around the girl "Aichi" she said tears falling down her face

Agatha, Misaki, Miwa and Kai watch the two hugging and crying "So that is Aichi's oka-san" Miwa said "I can say where Aichi got her features they totally look like" Misaki nodded her head "I never met her before so this the first time I ever met her" Misaki said. Kai continue to watch Aichi cry in her mother's arm, he knew that they haven't met in 7 months for more than half a year "Let's get out so they can talk to each other" Agatha suggested opening the door from behind "I'm sure Aichi has to explain to her about what's happening"

They all nodded, headed out the door. Kai just stood there watching Aichi talk to her mother, his lips turn to a small smile. He is glad that Aichi have found her mother and protected Emi "Kai" Kai turn to Miwa at the door with half of his body out the room "Coming" he nodded his head towards the outside. Kai look over his shoulder that the mother and daughter on the hospital bed "I'll catch up to you later" Kai responded

Miwa sighed stepped out of the room and closing the door behind him. Kai turn to see Aichi wiping her tears from her eyes "Oka-san how are you free from Void it was six months since Emi and I last saw you" Aichi said "Emi!" Shizuka exclaimed grabbing on to her daughter's arm's "Aichi, where is she?!" she cried. Aichi put a hand over her mother's "Emi is fine, she is in class. I let her attend a school here" she reassured her mother. Shizuka let out a sigh of relief "I'm so glad" her eye turn to Kai who was watching to their mother-daughter reunion moment, the woman remember his brown hair and green eyes "My isn't it Kai-kun" she clasp her hands together "You've grown a lot since I last met you, was it four no five years" Shizuka said

"Thank you very much Sendou-san" Kai bowed, making Aichi remember when Kai first met her mother. Shizuka happen to 'coincidentally' pass by the park when she saw Aichi and Kai on a bench playing vanguard and having fun with each other. At that time, Shizuka was proud that Aichi had find a friend "Kai-kun, you don't have to be that formal. Shizuka is fine to you" Shizuka gave a smile to the brunette "Then Shizuka-san" Kai said. Shizuka smiled looking at Kai then to her daughter "Nee are you two together yet" the woman said making both of them blush. Kai tilt his head away not showing his light blush on his cheeks and Aichi had a huge blush across her face looking down.

The woman just giggled behind her hand "My, I can't wait for the wedding" Shizuka hopes were all high up ever since she saw her daughter with the boy in front of her. The blush on Aichi's face grew all over her face and down her neck "O-O-Okaa-san w-what ar-are y-yo-you t-ta-talking a-about?" Shizuka continue to chuckle at her daughter's actions. Aichi never usually show her feelings out in public, but this is one of the many ways that she can embarrass her little girl. The blood continue to flood through Aichi's head, she can even feel the heat from the cool air conditioner flowing in the room. Right behind her, Kai was turn face the wall with his hand over his face and his head leaning on his fingers. Kai never thought that topic popped out of nowhere and not only that he didn't remember the last time he blushed this much.

After a few moments from the embarrassing topic from Shizuka, Aichi lookup to see her mom's head in her hand "Oka-san" Aichi jump up from her seat and clasp her hand on to Shizuka's shoulder "What's wrong" Aichi's voice was in worry. Shizuka shook her head and peel her daughter's hand off her shoulders "No it's alright, just a little dizzy" Shizuka responded to her.

"No Oka-san it's not alright, you should rest" Aichi gently push her mom back on to the bed, pulling up the covers up to her chin. The older woman gave her daughter a gentle smile "Thank you Aichi" she said, before closing her eyes then quickly falling asleep. The bluenette gave a smile back to her mother then heading towards the door. Kai had already open the door for the bluenette making her walk out of the room first then headed out after her closing the door behind him.

Once he let his hand off the door handle, he saw Aichi leaning her head on the opposite wall from him in the hallway letting tears fall down her face again. Kai can hear tiny sobs escaping from between Aichi's gritted teeth, controlling herself from wailing in the infirmary. The brunette put a hand on the girl's shoulder turning her face towards him, the bluenette's eye were redden even more for crying the second time and her cheek were flooded with fresh tears falling down her cheeks. Kai brush the tears away with the back of his hand wiping the tears from Aichi's perfect form (his opinion). Aichi held on the hand on her face, held it tightly between her hands and giving it a hard grip. Kai brought his hand up behind Aichi's back, pulling her against him. Aichi let go of Kai's hand and wrap her arms around the brunette, continuing to sob against his chest "I-I'm...g-gla-ad th-that she…i-is a-alright" the bluenette's face was muffled against the brunette's chest.

Kai's arm wrap around Aichi's body tighten close to him, he rub his hand in circles calming the girl down. He buried his nose into her hair near her ear "I know… I know" he repeated.

Back in Shizuka's infirmary bedroom, Shizuka open her eyes when back her daughter and Kai walked out of the room. She got back up pulling the blanket off of her and looked at the door for a few minutes. When she no longer heard Aichi's and Kai's voice, her arms suddenly flung into the air and giving them a stretch "Man, I never knew that acting would be so hard" both of her blue eyes turn into a purplish red color. Her hand rub the back of her neck as she get the kinks off "But who knew that controlling a human's body for an experiments would work getting into one of their headquarters" a silver compact with a black crystal carved into the top cover. She flapped open the compact showing a mirror of a frantic form of Shizuka banging her fist on the glass mirror.

"Let me out! Let me out, you monster!" the Shizuka in the mirror cried, continuing to bang her fist against the glass trying to make an effort of escaping. The Shizuka on the bed looked at the woman in the mirror, chuckling at her effortless escape "I'm afraid not Sendou Shizuka, until I am done with the humans here along with your daughter's and friends. I will eliminate you as well" her voice turn deep like a man's voice. Shizuka notice the change, her heart started beating quickly than ever before knowing that the one in her body has high level of power to do anything to destroy humankind.

"Why are you doing this?! What made you have this much hatred?!" Shizuka exclaimed. 'Shizuka' gritted his teeth, his eyebrows furrowed in anger and the red in his eyes flashed into bloody red "Like a puny human like you can understand someone like me" the one in Shizuka's body barked loudly, his voice hissed and grewer deeper. Shizuka flinched and kept her mouth shut, but through his bloody red eyes of hatred they are covering over the sadness.

'Shizuka' snapped the compact shut then it disappeared in thin air. The color in his eyes return back to blue, 'Shizuka' slipped out of the bed pulling the curtains showing black cloudy sky with a rumbles of lightning in the distance.

On the top of the headquarters, Takuto sat on his office chair facing to the huge screen window showing the sky and lifeless land. All of the debris and rubble piling on the dry soiled ground. There is no life form on Earth except for each headquarters around Earth that the Tatsunagi cooperation have built in advance for this destruction.

A knock rang across the room from the door on the other side of the room "Come in" Takuto said. The door opened then closed a minute after, a man in a black suit and sunglasses came in with an envelope under his arm "Takuto-sama I have a report from the that division" he said. Takuto turn his chair and faced the man "What does it say?" he had his hand laced together and elbows on his desk surface. The man took the folder from under his arm and open it "From the report, they show to have high levels of unknown life force that have entered the building earlier today" Takuto's eyes narrowed "Who entered the building the last 12 hours?" he put his hand down against the desk. The man put the folder on the desktop and slide it forward to show the boy "This woman..." Takuto took the picture that was clipped in then glanced at the name of the woman. His eyes narrowed even more looking at the name printed in bold on the top of the report.
