So everyone it's been a while, and I really don't have an excuse, I just never got around to writing another chapter, but I am now and that's the important thing right? Right?

Haha, moving on.

After this Chapter I will be closing the poll on who the final member of Natsu's small harem, so for those of you not in the know, Erza is ahead of Lisanna by quite a few votes. 20 or something close to that.

Lastly, not to many people have had a guess on what Natsu's secret magic ability is. Is it really that hard? Or are you lot just lazy? Then again it took me how long to update? yeah , you know what? Just forget that lazy comment, you all are my adoring readers who I love and admire and hope don't stop reading my story.

Thanks again and finally her it is, chapter 9! Woohoo!

Lucy stared up at her ceiling with a small smile on her face, she had done it! She had managed to join Fairy Tail, and now she could work on getting her life sorted. She had an apartment to live in, for 70,000 jewels a month, which while a little on the expensive side, was well worth it due to both its size and the insurance claims that came with it. Apparently Magnolia had some of the best insurance prices in the entire continent due to regular wreckage from outside influence (three guesses who and they are all correct). If she were to have this apartment in Crocus it would have been around 120,000 jewels a month! Screw that!

As her mind thought of her life goals she came to the next one, which was to become an established mage. While she would like to be S-Class, she was realistic enough to know that the likelihood of that happening was very low. After all the only plausible way for that to happen was by two things: 1 - learning another type of magic to help her along or 2 - have enough magical power to summon many spirits at the same time.

Yeah, unless she found a really good magical teacher type monk person, that wasn't going to happen. So with that in mind she would like to aim for maybe a B-Rank, C-Rank at the minimum, but A would be the winner. To think that all of those people she had met were already B-Rank wizards, and that Natsu of all things was an S-Class already! Very strong, she had heard people say about him, both in the papers and in real life.

Her mind moving on from that life goal, was about finally finding the right guy for her, and with that thought, her mind conjured up little bundles of joy with blonde hair and brown eyes. With a squeal only able to be produced by a girl's vocal chords, she dove underneath her covers to embrace the fantasy that was a happily lived family.

Meanwhile in the middle of the forest next to/ in Magnolia, there was a nice wooden cottage, that had a nice swing set outside, it was only two stories tall, with a lovely homey presence to it. There was a fence around the front garden that had a sign post attached to it which read Natsu and Happy. There was shrubbery that grew all around it, that whilst looked overgrown, meant that the house looked as though it had been grown in the woods rather than built. Inside found a lovely little lounge that had a hammock near a little stone fireplace, opposite the fireplace was a massive wall with hundreds of markings on it along with pictures and odd little tokens.

It was in the hall however where we found the real magical attraction to the house that only Natsu and the Master knew about. After all Natsu built it himself and it was hard to hide stuff from the master. The middle of the hall there was a rug, which incidentally covered a magical rune that was shaped like a dragon, this was actually a trap door that lead down to a secret gym that Natsu had built for himself. And the best part about it was that he never had to buy more weights, or equipment. After all why make the weight heavier when you can just make yourself harder to move, his Fire Dragon Gravity Seal was still in place and he had finally managed to up it to 30, which was a very hard thing to do.

It also acted as a little hide away for him when he needed it to, after all whilst the only common knowledge about the Salamander was that he lived in a forest, only a little exploring would be need before they found that cottage, which whilst it may not seem like it, being a extremely nice person who was very strong both magically and physically, whilst also having a very chiselled body, could ignite a fire (anyone like that pun? Anyone? I thought it was great haha) in most of the females he met. This in turn led to them seeking him out at the most inopportune time. Who knew girls could be such perverts if they had enough determination or reward?

Finally Natsu made his way back up to the top of his house where his shower was, ready to clean himself before heading over to Lucy's, after all today was the day that they formed their team together, as they had already rescued Macao a couple of days ago. It was so much easier to fight a Vulcan when you knew what to expect. Soon it would be time for them to infiltrate the Everlue Mansion.

With a quiet chuckle to himself Natsu set off for Lucy's place with Happy sleeping contently in his nest of spiky salmon hair. A small walk later they were in the middle of the town smiling and waving at the kids and adults alike as they passed Natsu finally made it to the apartment.

"Window or door? Which one would be better?" Natsu stood for a little while staring first at the window, then turning towards the door. Before finally deciding. With a leap Natsu jumped straight through the open window and rolled to quiet his landing. With that he headed the bedroom, opening it a little he saw Lucy nowhere to be seen, but heard the shower running. Remembering what happened in the last time line, he made his way to the kitchen table, where he sat patiently waiting for her to arrive. When he finally heard the door open he looked up expectantly to be met with the surprised gaze of his comrade.

"Hey Luce, how ya settling in?"

Lucy stuttered for a moment in surprise before her brain rebooted. "Hey Natsu, umm, I'm doing just fine thanks. Umm, what are you doing here?" though she didn't say it he could hear the start of her temper about to kick off.

"I wanted to see if you'd join me and become a team, where we could take jobs and stuff, i mean i already have one picked out if you wanted to." His voice was reassuring mostly deflating the anger that had built up inside her.

"Hmm. Let me see it first before I decide." when it was handed over he looked at her face carefully to see her reaction, after all last time it went so well that he didn't know how this new approach would work out. After a short while she looked at him dead in the eye and stated in a deadpan voice, "You are a horrible human being."

His shoulders dipped as he assumed rejection, before they picked up when she did a complete 180 and said in a chipper voice, "Okay, let's do it!"

And thus starts the formation of team Natsu, where we can see the building of a background for Natsu in between missions. So then no fights or training, thinks it's the first I've done at that, and yeah it pretty much is just a filler to start of the great journey fro the two.

So did you like it or hate it? I really do like to know. And also please leave any thoughts on how this could be improved (Nalu haters saying no Lucy relationship doesn't count) and please guys i want more guesswork going on for the mystery magic type.

Don't forget to cast your vote on the poll as the next chapter will mean it's over.

And finally Read it, rate it, love it and Hate it.

Until next time, TheMaddogMerc.
