I'm back! After like, a year? xD I've kind of lost my motivation with this story but I was inspired today after watching the newest One Piece movie; Film Gold! I highly recommend you watch it if you haven't yet. The plot was epic and the animation was amazing. I can't wait for the 2nd Fairy Tail movie that will come out in Spring 2017. Hopefully I'll get inspiration from that movie too! I do not own either anime. Enjoy this long overdue chapter! ;)

"It's the last day of the festival, everyone! Let's work hard to get best event!"

The class of 11-A roared in cheers, holding up their props and yelling with all their might. It was the last day of the festival, and the events would end early due to the Halloween Ball at that very night. Everybody was trying their best to earn as many points with the judges as they could before the ball.

As soon as the cheering was over, everybody was dismissed to their assigned places, letting in a crowd of customers with tickets in hand. Everything was busy once again.

"So far, I've been kissed by ten guys," Lucy counted her fingers. "How many more will it be today?" She really couldn't understand why they had come for her. There were three more potential candidates. Really, it was such a curse to be so cute!

"Of course, they're all on the cheeks," Levy pointed out to her friend.

"I'm not letting a single one of them get near my lips," Lucy said, sounding confident in herself. No matter what, she had to endure this for the success of their event. Their class had to win.

"I still can't believe this stupid prize anyway," Nami complained. "Do you know how many times I had to rush to the bathroom to wipe off my cheeks?" She still shivered with disgust when she felt their lips on her cheek. Sure it was only her cheek, but seriously, even she was nearing the limit.

"Hang in there, Nami-san!" Vivi sweat-dropped. Frankly, she would have wanted another alternative. But then again, it did help bring in customers... "Today is the last day."

Nami sighed, before offering the polite girl a smile. "Yeah, I know. I just have to last until nighttime."

"The ball is tonight, right?" Natsu spoke up. "Will there be food?"

"Of course there will, idiot," Gray sighed. "There's always food at balls."

Natsu frowned, looking confused. "The way you say that makes it sound like there will be food in balls like balls in sports."

"Don't we have to wear costumes?" Luffy pointed out. "I wanna wear something cool!"

Usopp puffed out his chest. "Of course! I, Usopp-san, will wear the mark of a great hero!"

"Too bad you lie though," Luffy laughed. "I don't wanna be a hero. I like them, but I don't wanna be them."

"Why not?" Nami asked, curious. She thought every boy had the dream to be a hero. Isn't that what every boy dreams? Then again, what did she know about boys other than they're stupid and driven by hormones? Well, from her experience anyway.

Luffy blinked, staring at her. "Do you know what heroes are? Say there is a chunk of meat. Pirates will have a banquet and eat it but heroes will share it with other people. I want all the meat!"

Nami punched him, letting him fly into the classroom's walls. "THAT'S NOT WHAT A HERO IS, IDIOT!"

"All he thinks about is meat," Usopp sweat-dropped.

"By the way, who is everybody going to the ball with?" Juvia piped up, joining the group.

"Gajeel asked me," Levy admitted.

"This is a chance, Levy-chan!" Lucy remarked, a knowing smile on her face. The blue haired bookworm blushed. By now, the girls had noticed the petite girl's affections towards the black haired male. They were just waiting for the moment when they make it official.

"Lu-chan! What about you then?" Levy asked. Lucy shook her head.

"I haven't decided yet." The blonde shrugged. She had hoped, hoped the one person she wanted to be asked out from will ask her, but sadly he did not.

"I'm going with my childhood friend, Koza," Vivi told Nami. "What about you Nami-san?"

"No clue," Nami shrugged. "How about you, Usopp?"

"Oh, that. I asked Kaya," Usopp told them.

"We're going together," Gray and Juvia said in unison.

"Some random guy asked me and I said 'yes'," Cana shrugged.

"Elf-niichan asked Evergreen!" Lisanna piped up, giggling as her brother's face turned bright red.

"So who are you two going with?" Gray asked Natsu and Luffy. The others turned to look at the boys, also wondering.

"Mira told us to take these people to the ball, and we had already decided to so it would have happened whether we listened to her or not," the two boys said in unison.

"That doesn't tell us who you're going with," Vivi said, confused.

"Hold it, if Mira is behind this then…" Cana trailed off on her sentence, and a few of them had already started to guess.

The two boys looked at each other and grinned. "You'll find out sooner or later."

"Neh, Nami," Lucy spoke up as the two thieves walked down the hallways together. They were asked to get the prizes from the storage room. "Are you going to go with a random guy?"

Nami looked at her as if she was crazy. "No, why would I do that?"

"Then who are you going with?" Lucy asked.

Nami said nothing for a moment, having no answer for the said question. She then smiled brightly. "Well, one of us could always dress up as a boy and we could go together."

Lucy laughed. "Yeah, like anybody is going to believe us."

"They will," Nami grinned. "We look good in anything." She could remember the time where both girls had dressed themselves up as males to infiltrate the building as security guards. All the gold they had found was simply bliss.

"Perhaps," Lucy winked. The two girls laughed.

And then, they were suddenly grabbed into a room. Their eyes widen in fright and they almost screamed had it not for the gag in their mouths. What was going on?

A very terrifying demon was smiling at them sweetly.

"Hey, Flame-Brain, you actually have a good costume," Gray smirked, walking towards Natsu, dressed in his Ice Prince costume.

"What was that, Ice Boxers?" Natsu growled, his fist ready to go. He was dressed in a costume made by Mirajane. In other words, she had made him into a Dragon Prince. Why? Because the girl had deemed it was the only costume that could ever suit him. She was right on the money.

"Shishishi," Luffy laughed as the two other boys glared at each other. His costume was also made by Mirajane. She had made him into a Pirate King. The boy had fussed about the pirate hat that was a part of his costume, and had ditched it in the dressing room.

The boys were at the Halloween Ball, where many of the other students had already gathered.

Since the school was rich and all, the ball was held at the ballroom. The walls had pictures of Halloween theme items. The tables and food were decorated to match the theme. Everywhere you look, there was someone dressed in costume. Some were dancing with one another while others chatted amongst themselves. A DJ was operating the music, keeping it upbeat for now. There were several waitresses walking through the students, serving drinks and treats.

"So? Where are your partners?" Zoro said, coming up to them. He had come with Robin.

The two cops grinned. "They're coming." Their eyes wandered ahead, going past the crowd. Their grins widen, "In fact, they've just arrived."

Confused, the other two boys turned to look. There, coming down the staircase were two girls. The music kept going, but everybody stopped to take a look at the two late arrivals.

One girl was dressed in a pink ball gown, bright white flowers decorating the skirt. The midline was painted baby blue with a golden rim. Her top was long sleeved and opened around just the top of her chest. There was white fur lined with the collar and golden rim under. Around her neck was a white pearl necklace. Her blonde hair was tied up in a loose bun with two curls of hair framing her face. On top of her blonde locks was a sparkling tiara.

The other girl was dressed in a light orange ball gown. It was a sleeveless dress, but the top was sparkling in the light. A black bow was placed at her side as unique designs drawn in waves placed themselves on her skirt. She wore a golden bracelet on her left wrist that twinkled in the light. Around her neck was a white pearl necklace. Her orange hair was slightly curled and she wore a grand crown.

When they reached the last of the steps, they were surprised to see two boys waiting for them. Flashing them a boyish smile, the boys held out their hands. The girls were more than happy to take their hands.

The music changed. Everybody snapped out of their daze and began to dance again. The people who weren't dancing before now joined in with their partners. However, the four only had their attention focused on the person in front of them.

"What are you supposed to be, a Dragon?" Lucy teased as she let the pink haired boy twirl her around.

"Good guess." Natsu smirked as he placed a hand on her waist, holding her hand with the other as he guided her along the dance floor. He wasn't that stupid; he knew how to do the waltz. In fact, they once had to go undercover for a ball during one of their missions. The older men insisted the boys learn how to dance. After hours of torture, they were finally decent enough to pass off as normal guests.

Lucy giggled. He loves that sound. "I thought Mira-san paired you off with someone."

"She did. I'm dancing with her now." Natsu grinned cockily. He had meant to ask her earlier when the she-devil first proposed the plan to them, but Mirajane had told him to wait until the ball.

Lucy could almost have kicked herself for not seeing this earlier. No wonder the white haired girl had kidnapped her and Nami. Before they could realize what she was doing, they were dressed up for the party. The girl had told them their partners would be waiting at the ball. "So I suppose I'm a princess."

"What a coincidence. I'm a prince."

The blonde blushed. Mirajane had clearly set them up. Not that she was upset about it or anything. She really must thank the older girl later.

"I didn't know you could be so smooth, Natsu." Lucy innocently commented.

The pinkette shrugged. "There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Luce. Then again," he leaned close to whisper in her ear, "there's a lot of things I don't know about you either."

Lucy felt a shiver go down her spine, a good one. His husky voice almost made her forget her steps, but luckily she caught herself in time. She flashed him a brilliant smile. "Maybe someday you'll come to learn what they are." 'Of course not all,' she mentally added.

"Maybe. If I'm lucky enough." Natsu laughed as he pulled back and spun her around.

"My luck might influence yours. After all, I am Lucky Lucy." The blonde said proudly. Her parents had called her that after they told her the story behind her name.

Natsu grinned. "I hope it does."

"Shishishi. You make a nice queen, Nami." Luffy performed the steps of the waltz so perfectly it amazed the orange haired girl dancing with him.

"And you make a great king, Luffy." Nami hadn't expected this outcome, although she did have her suspicions. She simply let herself be led by the black haired boy, unable to keep herself from smiling. He really was the only boy who could make her feel this way.

A flashback of her accident kiss with the masked cop overtook her mind. Immediately, Nami felt guilty. Here she was, dancing with one boy when she had kissed another. Sure it was an accident but that didn't stop the guilt from creeping into her mind.

"What's wrong?" Luffy asked, worried that the girl had fallen so silent.

Nami shook the thoughts out of her head, offering him a small smile. "Nothing to worry about."

"You sure?"

"Yes." Nami insisted. She really didn't want to drone on this any more than she could help it. Besides, if she was lucky, they might never run into them again. After all, Lucy had great luck. Nami could always depend on her best friend.

Not convinced, but had enough tact to stay quiet about it, Luffy tugged her closer as a slower dance started. Nami did her absolute best to slow her quickly beating heart. It was difficult since he was so close. Her eyes kept darting everywhere but his face.

"Geez, Nami. If you don't look at me, I'll feel sad." Luffy pouted. She couldn't resist his brown eyes anymore. Once she turned her attention fully on him, she knew she couldn't look away. Luffy laughed his trademark laugh when she did as he had asked.

"Well Luffy, this place is elegantly beautiful and I want to look around." Nami said casually, hoping she sounded normal enough. It wasn't a complete lie. The ballroom was beautiful, and she did want to appreciate the place.

The black haired boy frowned. "What could be more important to you than me?"

Nami stared at him in shock. Had he really just say that with a straight face? She could not believe how much of a natural he was. Was it just his own ability? "Well aren't you confident in yourself."

"Shishishi." Luffy grinned. "You seem like the kind who likes confident guys, Nami."

The orange haired girl could only blink in surprise. Since when has he been paying such close attention to her?

Somehow along the line, the two couples became the center of the dancing pairs. Everybody gracefully danced around them as they took the center stage. Large, stage lights from above fixed their position to focus on the center. The music went from one tune to another, one dance went to another, but still the two couples never changed partners.

Nobody dared to interrupt them. It would be horrible to break them, especially as they were smiling as they made light conversations with each other. Mirajane looked on with pride. Her match-making skills were simply the best.

At a quarter to midnight, the two principals stood on the stage in the ballroom. They tapped the mike for silence, and the music stopped as everybody paid attention.

"Ahem." Makarov cleared his throat. "I thank you all for participating in the festival. We made a great deal of profit and our customers left satisfied! You all deserve a nice night for all your hard work!" Cheers erupted from the room as people clapped and pat each other on the back.

Garp grinned. "Now for what you've all been waiting for, the class competition results!" The cheers turned into roars and hoots as they eagerly await the winner.

"It was a tight race, but the one who pulled out on top…" The two men paused for the dramatic effect because a moment like this deserved one, "Class 11-A!"

Confetti burst into the air and everybody went crazy with cheers and claps. Although some were disappointed they had lost, they got over it quickly and congratulated the winning class. Some of the girls were hugging each other while the boys gave each other fist-bumps. With their classmates ushering them, the four leaders made their way onto the stage.

Makarov handed Natsu the trophy while Garp handed Luffy the plaque. The two boys, with wild grins, held them over their heads as everybody clapped once more.

"Now," Makarov held a mischievous glint to his eye as he regarded the two couples before him, "since this is a Halloween ball after all, why don't we have our winners perform the classic performance?"

"Performance?" The girls said, completely baffled.

"He means the old, 'Trick-or-Treat' thing." Garp explained, a wide grin on his face. "We haven't heard anybody say those words all night! What are you, fools? It's a Halloween ball!"

Whispers started in the crowd. It was true, nobody considered asking the popular question. They were mostly caught up with the ball and the festival to remember the day was about candy and pranks. Besides, there was the competition to worry about.

The old men tapped their mikes for silence once more. Everybody quieted down and faced the stage again. The principals took the prizes from the boys and nudged them towards the girls. "Well what are you standing around for? Go do it!"

The boys glanced at each other, and shrugged. It certainly wouldn't kill them to do it. After all, it was a Halloween ball. They stood in front of their respective partners. "Trick or treat!"

"B-But we don't have candy…?" The girls stammered. They weren't prepared for any of this. Typical for the principals to spring something like this on them without prior notice. They could have guessed they would do this.

The two boys glanced at each other again, a devilish smirk gracing their lips as they turned back to the girls. "That's okay. We have the perfect trick for you!"

Before the girls could say anything else, just as the clock rang midnight, they found themselves kissed by a Dragon and a King.

Tbh I wanted to do this chapter on Halloween but yeah, that didn't happen. I wanted to make it longer but there's not much to do other than wrap up the festival. xD Review! :)
