Chapter 16 - The call to War.

…..

"A War Assembly!" Kakashi said to himself trying to as hard as he could to not believe it. The last time one had been called….His father was still alive, then not long after he died. A War Assembly was called in only drastic times, it marked the beginning of a War. He looked up seeing the civilians' horror stricken faces. They remembered the devastation of the last War, the lives that were lost. The faces of loved ones they buried.

He also remembered faces, his father's, Obito's, Rin's and then the names on the Memorial Stone. He looked up and saw the shocked looks on his student's faces as they looked at the ninja running for the Hokage's tower. Would he have to remember theirs?

Wham!

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Kakashi shouted in his head after punching a nearby telephone pole to calm his nerves. He failed Obito and Rin, he'll be damned if he fails Naruto and Sakura.

"Konohamaru go find you're team." Kakashi ordered.

"But…." Konohamaru started.

"NOW!" Roared the masked nin.

"YES SIR!" the third's grandson shouted before running like the devil was after him.

Kakashi sighed in relief seeing the boy run. It was up to the boy's sensei, Ebisu, whether or not he thought his team should go to the War Assembly. He relaxed a little more knowing that the man would send them straight home.

Unfortunately he didn't have such a luxury. He looked up seeing Sakura pulling on her gloves, he heard a crack as Naruto popped his neck. He was both proud and terrified, his students were ready.

"Everyone lets hurry I have a feeling they can't start without us." Kakashi said jumping towards a roof and making his way to the Hokage's tower.

A few minutes later at the Hokage's tower Assembly Hall.

Kakashi sighed as he approached the door to the Hall, and then went tense as four blank mask ANBU appeared before his group. "Root" Kakashi said to himself as he got in a defensive stance in front of his students.

"Calm, Copy Ninja Kakashi we mean you no harm, we now actually wish the opposite" the lead Root nin in a tan cloak said bowing.

Kakashi paused in thought as normally Root would attack you and drag you off to talk, for them to just sit there… "Shit!" he said mentally. "It's worse than I thought isn't it?"

"The Council was shown prior to call, the information that will be shown at the Assembly, and it has Danzo-sama on edge." The Root nin stated. "As the other ANBU are informing those on guard of what has transpired, we were sent to inform Uzumaki-sama that he needed at Hokage-sama's side," He said standing up.

"When the hell did I become a Sama here?!" Naruto said flabbergasted.

"When your heritage was announced at the meeting, it is now known that you're the son of the Fourth." The Root nin said making Sakura gape like a fish.

"W-w-what!?" shouted the pink haired girl.

"It a long story Sakura now come, this is a meeting I don't want to be late to." Kakashi said heading inside.

As Naruto was about to head inside the Root grabbed his arm before going tense as Yami put an arm blade to the man's neck.

"We mean no harm girl we just want to pass a message onto Uzumaki-sama." The Root nin said putting his hands up.

Yami just glared at the man, the feeling they were giving or the lack there of was unsettling. They were cold and dead inside.

"It's alright Sweatheart just head on inside." Naruto said moving the girl's arm/blade away from the Root.

"I'll stay." Yami said bluntly.

"Fine" Naruto sighed knowing there was no arguing with the girl. "But I'm telling you I'll be alright."

"Then there's will be no problem with me being here," the girl said crossing her arms "Now I believe you, Empty Shells, had a message to give to Naruto Uzumaki." Yami stated.

Nodding the Root nin turn to Naruto and said "Uzumaki-sama the real reason I'm here is to inform you that Danzo-sama wishes to have a word with you after the War Assembly."

"About what?" Naruto asked.

"I cannot say I was just given the order. If you chose to accept Danzo-sama's invitation then meet him a top of the Hokage Monument at the Third's head," The Root nin said "Now if you excuse me we've left Danzo-sama unguarded long enough, until we meet again Uzumaki-sama." Bowed the Root nin.

"I don't think I ever get used being called a Sama." Naruto said pushing open the door.

"You'll have to eventually, Uzumaki-sama" Yami smirked as she followed behind the ninja.

"Quiet you." Grumbled Naruto making the girl snicker.

Meanwhile…..

On the balcony overlooking the Assembly hall stood a man covered in bandages his face scrunched up in concern and thought. The news he had been show, the truth he had been told. It was disheartening. Hiruzen and he always had a silent agreement an agreement that been set when they had been young. No matter how much they fought and scheme against each other it was always for the same goal,

Protect Konoha.

He looked down at the confused and concern faces down below, they had no idea what was coming. For not the first time he was regretting all the times he had tried killing Hiruzen. Instead of trying to kill him, he should have been protecting him! Because for the first time ever.

He may fail to complete his goal. Konoha could fall.

He felt a presence behind him and turned to see his ANBU had returned. "Well?" he asked.

"We completed the task Danzo-sama. The message has been relayed." The ANBU said kneeling.

"And Uzumaki's response?" the bandaged man asked.

"He didn't say no, but he didn't say yes." The Root answered.

"Then he is not the fool he lead the village to believe, one should be wary of new allies. Especially when that ally has a dark past." The aged ninja said more to himself then the Root nin. He perked up and dismissed the Root nin when he heard someone walking up the stairs.

"So good to see you again my Dear" Danzo said politely.

"Hello again Mr. Mummy!" Lala greeted happily making the man sigh.

Standing by the alien Princess was Tsunade who was covering her mouth doing her best to cover her mouth stifling her laugh as she remember the meeting an hour earlier.

Flashback…

"Oba-sama I'm done!" Lala said walking into the Hokage's office.

"Already?" Tsunade said surprised it wasn't fifteen minutes ago that she left to pick at Blitz's brain and five minutes later sending Yami to stop Naruto from killing Kakashi, for a fee. A B-rank fee.

"If that girl was born here, she'd fit right in" she mused to herself. The women Naruto was surrounding himself with were very unique. Speaking of which.

"Oh yeah it was easier than I thought, it's amazing Blitz-kun's Digital Cerebral Cortex bears the same striking structural design as Peke-chan's I believe it's why they click so well!" giggled the alien girl.

"Well isn't that sweet, they were literally made for each other" Tsunade smirked. "But what I'm more interested in is the information in Blitz's head." She said interlacing her fingers signaling to Lala to talk business.

"Right I uploaded the information from Blitz-kun's memory banks to this projection orb along with any information regarding the Akatsuki from my inventions." Lala said holding a Deviluke projection orb.

"And the more sensitive images?" the Hokage asked referring to the images of Naruto's transformation. The Ninja council will just dismiss it as something akin to a bloodline. The civilian council on the other hand…..the sheer thought gave her a headache.

"All taken care of!" Lala said happily.

"Good then let's go, I already called the council" Tsunade said standing up and exiting the office.

[Damnit I just got comfy!] Groan a certain Earthborn robot.

Tsunade looked to her right and saw Blitz holding his head with a newly built arm that, along with his new leg, looked more advanced than his previous limbs.

[I told you Lala-sama wouldn't be long,] said Peke rubbing the groaning robot's back.

[Yeah but I'm tired!] Whined Blitz [Having someone dig around my head then having to synchronize with new limbs makes my head all wonking, is this how meat bags feel when they get a hangover? If so, then Holy fucking MAC kill me if I somehow become one!] he groaned again.

[I highly doubt that will happen.] smirked the Fembot.

Blitz just cocked his head to the side, which Tsunade now thought was his version of deadpanning and said [You're a sexy alien robot that can transform into any type of clothes, I'm not ruling anything out.]

[Huh? Naruto-dono says the same thing] said Peke raising one of her swirly eyebrows.

[He has a two thousand year old demon fox in his gut, I'd be surprise if he didn't.] Blitz quipped.

Turning around Tsunade turned to Lala and said "Explain."

"Well I figured Blitz-kun could help explain who, what, and where something is." Lala answered.

"Alright fine" sighed the busty woman "But he better behave or he'll find himself in a recycling bin. You got that rust bucket?!" she growled turning to Blitz.

[Yeah, yeah I heard you, now let's get this over with so I can go to sleep.] Groaned the robot standing up and making his way to the bench outside the council chambers.

Tsunade sighed and decided to count herself lucky since a normal Blitz would just spout something utterly obscene, thus cause to council to yell and scream in an uproar. Speaking of which…

"WHY SHOULD WE EVEN CONSIDER HELPING THE SAND FIND THEIR KAZEKAGE, WHEN IT WAS BECAUSE OF THEM WE LOST THE THIRD!?" shouted a civilian council member at Shikaku the Jonin commander and head of the Nara clan.

Shikaku sighed "Because a Kage is vital to the stabilization of peace. It's why the Third took the title up when the Fourth died and the same with the Fifth, otherwise an opportunist would have attacked us and sparked a war. We shinobi have fought in war and I for one don't want to fight in another if we can prevent it, a war is too troublesome." he sighed again. "Now be silent the Hokage is here."

"Thank you Shikaku" Tsunade said nodding to Shikaku who nodded in return. The Hokage then sighed "I wish I was here to give you good news about the status of the Kazekage but sadly that is not the case. The Kazekage has been taken beyond the VEIL." She said making the occupants in the room go silent.

Tsume head of the Inuzuka clan summed up everyone's general thought in one sentence "WELL FUCK!"

"Very troublesome" Shikaku sighed. "Due to the agreement that the founding Kages made at the closing of the First Shinobi War we cannot sanction a mission to rescue the Kazekage else we shall face war for violating the agreement." He said holding his head.

"But if we do not act there will be a war as there will be no Kazekage to maintain the status quo." Hiashi head of the Hyuga clan stated frowning in concern.

"So either way we have a war on our hands" Shibi head of the Aburame said sadly surprising the council as it was rare for an Aburame to express themselves.

"The dream of a generation without war was just that, a dream" Danzo said holding onto his cane tightly. "We must ensure that we have the advantage in this war."

"Then we should go pass the Veil and rescue the Kazekage" Tsunade said firmly.

"Why should we risk breaking the scared agreement made by the Shodai Kage for just one person even if he is a Kage? Doing so will make us targets for even the minor villages." Danzo said firmly as breaking a Shodai agreement meant the other villages both primary and secondary could attack them without repercussions.

"They will understand once they know what is coming." Tsunade said turning to an Anbu "Send them in."

[About time I was getting bored!] TWACK! [OW! What was that for babe?] shouted Blitz holding his after Peke smacked him in the head.

[You said you would behave!] Peke said grabbing his arm.

[Sorry sometimes I can't help it, I'm hardwire to have a bad attitude.] Blitz said sheepishly.

"What in the?" said Choza the head of Akimichi, in surprise seeing the robots enter the room.

"It's the prisoner from Suna?!" Inoichi head of the Yamanaka clan said recognizing the robot from earlier.

[Ah it's the creepy narcoleptic!] Blitz shouted pointing at a twitchy eyebrow Inoichi. Although in the robot's defense, the man's body would always slump over from using his clan jutsu.

"Blitz-kun apologies that was mean!" Lala said chastising the robot.

[Sigh, sorry] Blitz said bowing.

"Tsunade why is this prisoner out of its cage?" asked the village elder Homura Mitokado his as eyes locked onto the machine.

"And who are the other two?" asked another elder Koharu Utatane looking at Lala and Peke curiously.

"I have pardon Blitz here for the information he has willing given, such as the location of key enemy bases." Tsunade said clamping onto the robot's shoulder. "Trust me on this, the information he has provided is invaluable."

"Very well the Council will accept your judgment on this." Danzo said getting agreeing nods from everyone. "And now for the other creature and the girl." He said gesturing to Lala and Peke.

"She's Lala Satalin Deviluke the expert I brought in to extract the information from Blitz, but due the appearance of Peke, Blitz willing choose to cooperate." Tsunade explained. "Lala and Peke are, as much it is hard to believe, Aliens."

"Tsunade-sama I mean no insult but have you gone insane?!" shouted a civilian council member.

"Your disbelief is reasonable councilmen but I've seen the facts for myself, but to prove to you that I'm not lying. Inoichi I ask you to take a look in Lala-chan's mind in order to see for yourself." Tsunade said.

Stepping up from his seat Inochi walked forward "Very well Tsunade-sama I will take look, if what you are say is true. Then this will be truly enlightening." He said smirking and place his hand on the blinking girl's head. "Don't worry I won't pry into anything too personal" the ninja said smiling.

"Ok!" Lala said looking at the man curiously.

"Then let us begin, Mind Probe Jutsu!" Inochi said not knowing he was in for the trip of his life. When he dived in he saw countless planets, technology beyond his wildest dream, then he saw countless of different beings all bowing before one man. The King of the Planet Deviluke and Emperor of the Galaxy, Gid Lucione DEVILUKE.

Now Inochi knew better than anyone that the mind does not lie and it especially never lies to a Yamanaka, and certainly not to him. To say he was shocked was an understatement. So when he exited the girl's mind and saw the girl looking dizzy and about to fall, he rushed to her side and said "Are you alright Princess?"

"Princess!?" Tsume said making every member of the council perk up.

"Yes this is Lala Satalin Deviluke, daughter of Gid Lucione Deviluke heir to the Throne of the Galaxy" Inochi said bowing.

"So aliens are real? Troublesome." Shikaku grumbled.

"And this girl is the heir to an alien empire, how interesting" Danzo said now looking at the girl in interest. "Now Tsunade how did you come in contact with such a person?" he asked.

"You can thank Naruto Uzumaki for that one." Tsunade answered proudly. "It was while he was on his training trip with Jiraiya. My teammate decided that the safest place to train would be in Japan, a country outside the Veil."

"But wouldn't that violate the treaty?" asked a civilian.

"We all know of Jiraiya-sama's reputation if he wants to go somewhere, he's going." Shibi stated getting murmurs of agreement from everyone.

"Yes while over there Naruto and Jiraiya encountered Lala here through an odd set of circumstances." Tsunade said shaking her head at the thought. "Only Naruto would get a girl to randomly appear in his bathtub."

"And after Naruto-kun risked his life to save me, we got engaged!" Lala said happily making Tsunade smack her forehead.

"THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED!" yelled a civilian. "IF THAT DEMON GAINS THAT MUCH CONTROL WE ARE ALL DOOMED!" he shouted before a blast from Lala's tail went pass his head and blew a hole through the building silencing everyone in the room.

"SUCH POWER!?" was the general thought of everyone.

[HOLY! FUCK!] shouted Blitz [Well there went any future insults for you Lala-sama!] he said writing a program to make sure he never angered the girl.

"If I ever hear any of you insult Naruto-kun in such a way again you will all end up like the wall!" Lala said getting angry. "You done enough to him I won't allow you to bad mouth him in front of me."

"Lala please clam down!" Tsunade wrapping her arms around the girl tightly.

"No I will not!" Lala shouted surprising everyone again as pulled the woman off of her. "I don't understand how people can say such awful thing about Naruto-kun, when his parents sacrificed themselves to save them!" the girl said with tears in her eyes. Naruto's parents gave so much yet they treated her Naruto-kun with such distain! It was wrong!

"W-what is Lala-sama talking about?" asked a civilian regaining some nerves his eyes panning over to the hole in the wall.

"Sigh, Naruto Uzumaki's full name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze you morons" Shikaku said shaking his head.

"That's impossible!" shouted another civilian making all the ninja council members groan and throw a pouch of coins to Tsunade.

"Yes! When it comes to betting on the brat I never lose!" the busty woman cheered internally.

Apparently there was a betting pool on what the civilians would say upon learning the truth. And Naruto being the only time Tsunade wins a bet. How could she resist?

"Yes, Naruto Uzumaki's parents were none other than Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki" Tsunade said smirking seeing the faces of the civilians. The only thought going through their minds, "What have we done!?"

"The matter of Uzumaki can be discussed later. What I'm more concerned about is what has been found out about the threat outside the Veil." Danzo said firmly.

"Yes thank you Danzo-sama for getting us back on track" Tsunade said nodding, the matter of the Veil was more important. "Lala" she said gesturing the now calmed down alien forward.

"The images you are about to be shown were taken directly from Blitz-kun's data banks and from the video files of my inventions" Lala said as she took the Deviluke projection out of pocket and threw it in the air.

As the orb lit up the council sat there in awe as they say an image take from. Then the video started. And the council saw something that chilled them to the bone.

They saw everything. The civilian wincing at the Jashinist thugs snapping their limbs back into place, Yama standing up with a hole through his chest.

The encounters Cerberus had with Gure and the destruction the man left in his wake on the highway as the mechanical dog followed after them. They were amazed and frighten of the technology at the man's disposal.

Then seeing Shushi appear out of nowhere and beat Naruto like an academy student. The appearance of Shushi got the council more concerned. Their new enemy forces had existed for over fifty years. And in all that time have stayed hidden from the rest of the world, such a task was not easily done. And then there was the matter of them being outside the Veil.

While the Shodai treaty stated that the Ninja villages weren't allowed to take mission outside the Veil, it didn't say anything about sending scouts to investigate the status of the outside world. Thus every Ninja village knew that there was ALWAYS conflict going on in the world. This meant the enemy had many experienced shinobi in their ranks. Veterans of war who numbers haven't been dwindle due to a lack of rivals.

The screen then change to complete darkness before lighting up as a door opened up revealing numerous robots being assembled on a conveyor belt.

[Oh my GOD I'm going to be sick!] Blitz yelled before dry heaving.

"What the matter with you?!" Tsunade snapped.

[I'm seeing myself born!] Cried the robot. [How would you feel seeing such a sight?!] He shouted.

The humans all sat there for a second before shivering.

[Exactly! OH WHY AM I STILL LOOKING!?] the robot screamed covering his eyes.

"My goodness look at them all." Tsume said stunned seeing the robots marching off the assembly line grab a gun and hit a target perfectly, the cycle repeating hundreds of times, the numbers of machines growing by the minute. The once gray floor being covered by black and red.

"They're a swarm" stated Shibi.

"S-surly there must be a limit to their production?" asked a civilian nervously.

[There is not, by the end of the month 100,000 units will have been produced] Blitz stated.

"You said by the end of the month 100,000 units will be produced? Tell me machine how many of your kind was been created?" Danzo said staring at the projection.

[At the time of my deployment the number was at 25,786 although by now it might be closer to 40,000.] Blitz said casually rubbing a loose piece of paint off his arm.

"That is very troubling" Shikaku said summing up everyone thoughts.

[Oh you think that's bad,] Blitz said as the image shifted to a CHIMERA in action.

"Oh Kami" gasped a civilian council member.

[This is a CHIMERA, a fusion of modern science and forbidden puppetry techniques. The proper term would be Cyborg, where a human being has been put into a machine.] Blitz stated.

"That used to be human" Tsume said as her jaw drop.

[Isn't that what I said?] Blitz said cocking his head to the side. [Anyway throughout a CHIMERA'S body there are artificially made muscles, nerves, and charka coils which is control by these siege weapon's only weak point, the donated brain of a human. And note, I use the term donated loosely.]

At this point the image shifted to Doc ripping open a person's head and putting it inside a CHIMERA's chest.

"Blarg!" vomited a civilian with a weak stomach.

[The brain acts an organic processor as at the our current tech level there's no computer that can operate fast enough for a CHIMERA to be combat effective] the robot explained [Thankfully the mind is debased to a beast like nature] he said as two CHIMERA's grappled with each other [But there are some exceptions] he said as the Yura CHIMERA ordered the other three in an organized attack. [Why this is, is beyond my knowledge as CHIMERAs have only just been invented.]

"Perhaps we could learn more from the remains Kankuro manage to recover." Tsunade suggested.

[Not likely as the CHIMERA units used during the invasion were prototypes, once Tou-sama get the data the ones he'll make may be different.] Blitz stated.

"And what will be the main focus once they are all made" the bandaged man said seriously.

"You know the answer Danzo, why ask?" Tsunade asked.

"Because I wish for it to not be true." Scowled Danzo.

"For once we finally agree" Tsunade sighed. "Now you see why rescuing the Kazekage is so vital, we need as to have many allies as we can and I'm not talking about just Suna either."

"You can't mean?!" Homura shouted as his and every ninja's eyes widened.

"Yes for this war we need each of the Five Great Villages to work together" The Hokage said seriously.

"I can see perhaps Kiri given that they would want allies now that their civil war has ended but Iwa and Kumo? Troublesome." Shikaku grumbled.

"And I for one will not ally with Kumo scum!" Hiashi snarled remembering the loss of his twin brother. "Not after what they done!"

"You're not the only one who has lost a love one Hyuga, don't let Hizashi's death become the reason for thousands more because you refuse to swallow your pride!" Tsume shouted.

"Hiashi I know the idea of working with Kumo disgust you, but we cannot hope to win this war alone! The Elemental Nations need to stand together or the loss of life will be tremendous." Tsunade stated.

"I understand Hokage-sama" Hiashi said begrudgingly.

"Thank you Hiashi I know this is hard for you, believe me I know." The Hokage said gesturing to her ring finger, she would be lying if she said if there wasn't some lingering anger towards Iwa because of the loss of Dan. "But the worry of forming alliances with former enemies can wait right now we have to inform our on forces of what has transpire. So as Hokage I call for a War Assembly!"

End Flashback…

"So what did they want?" Kakashi asked as his student stepped inside.

"Oh you know just the usual they just wanted my autograph seeing that I'm so great." Naruto said grinning only for his smirk to drop seeing his sensei's eye narrow. "Um they just let me know that Danzo wanted to talk to me after the meeting." He said sweating underneath his sensei's stare.

"Isn't that surprising." The masked man said sarcastically. "And are you going to go meet him?" he asked.

"No the vibe they were giving off it, it just felt wrong" Naruto said shivering.

"Well ignore it for now, go" Kakashi stated seriously.

"What?!" Naruto said surprised.

"Danzo has reached out to you Naruto and I'm sorry to say you can't ignore him, he doesn't usually do this. The way his men were acting, something must have shifted in his mind to make him act this way." Kakashi said looking Naruto in the eye "I believe you and Lala might be the cause of it."

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked confused.

"I mean to say that Danzo sees an opportunity in you and Lala, and now that I think about I can't blame him." His sensei said grabbing onto his chin. "Once you marry Lala the whole entire universe will be open to nations and Danzo wants Konoha to be the first one through the door."

"So you're saying that…." Naruto said with widen eyes as he realized what his sensei was saying.

"Yes Danzo wants to get himself into your good graces, and as much as it pains me to say it, you have to let him" Kakashi sighed.

"Are you serious!?" Naruto shouted as they stood outside the door to the balcony.

"Yes, because right now in this time of war Danzo is our greatest ally! Because he wants the best for Konoha and right now what's best for it is keeping you alive!" Kakashi said grabbing onto his shoulders.

"I'm not that important!" his student said shocked.

"No you're wrong Naruto, because for once Danzo and Tsunade agree about something." Kakashi said finding it hard to believe, and he was the one saying it! "They both believe, scratch that! They KNOW that right now you are the most important person on this planet."

"You're talking like I'm going to change everything." Naruto said getting nervous.

"Naruto from the moment I learned Kushina-sama was pregnant I knew you were meant for great things, it's just now that everyone is realizing it!" Kakashi said looking into his student's eyes. "Naruto what I'm saying is that they believe in you, I believe in you." He said making small tears appear in Naruto's eyes.

"Are you crying?" Yami asked smirking.

"NO! I just got something in my eyes" Naruto said rubbing his eyes making Kakashi chuckle remembering how a certain Uchiha said that all the time.

"Well hurry up before Tsunade makes Sakura drags us upstairs." Kakashi said eye smiling making Naruto chuckle. "No I'm serious I can hear the Hokage growling." He said making the two blondes sweatdrop as he open the door.

[Well about time! I was about to go into sleep mode!] Blitz shouted drawing everyone's attention.

"NARUTO-KUN!" shouted a pink blur who latched onto the blonde.

"Lala-chan you don't have to come flying at me all the time!" exclaimed Naruto even though he was enjoying the feeling of her breast pressing against him.

"So this is Lala I was expecting someone completely different not slightly different." Kakashi said as his eyed panned from Lala to Sakura and back again.

"Hey she came to me not the other way around!" Barked Naruto.

"Whatever you say." Kakashi said walking over to a growling Sakura.

"This nothing different at all we look exactly the same" mumbled the pink haired ninja glaring at Naruto.

"Expect your cup sizes" quip Yami as she passed by making Sakura's head steam with anger.

"Like you're one to talk!" snarled Sakura at the alien girl.

"I'm 14 earth years what your excuse?" Yami mocked making the ninja in ear shot jaws drop.

[MEOW!] Chimed in Blitz.

"Shut up you toaster!" Roared Sakura.

[Make me washboard!] Blitz shouted back.

"Enough all of you!" growled Tsunade silencing the two, although they kept staring at each other.

"This isn't over rust bucket!" thought Sakura glaring.

[I found me a new target to fuck with!] Blitz thought as his eyes glowed brighter as he scanned the ninja for traits to make fun of. [HOLY FOREHEAD!]

"Well I guess we don't have to worry about Blitz making friends do we." Naruto said sweatdropping.

"Yeah he's quite the charmer." Tsunade grumbled. "And unfortunately we'll be hearing more of him since I need the both of you to help answer any question that arise from this show and tell."

"Shit I think I know half of them will be why I'm hanging around so many cute girls, I can already hear Kiba cussing me out." Naruto sighed.

"Well lucky for you his team is on a mission." Tsunade smirked, "Also that's what you get for being a flirt."

"You act like I do it on purpose" Grumble the boy.

"And you act like Jiraiya hasn't sent me reports about your personal life" the busty woman said deadpanning making Naruto chuckle sheepishly.

"Umm yeah I can explain" he started.

"Oh you better Mr. Harem" glared Tsunade "What?!" She snapped as Shizune got her attention.

"Your mics are on Tsunade-sama." Shizune said nervously.

Blinking both Naruto and Tsunade slowly turned their heads to the crowd and sweat nervously seeing all the dropped jaws.

"WHAT!?" rang the voice of Iruka whose head had expand to four times its size.

One hour later after the meeting….

(Author's note….I'm skipping the meeting as the way I planned in my head was basically the same as the Council meeting so there's no real point in writing it all over again.)

"Well that went better than I thought given the hiccup at the beginning there" Kakashi said chuckling causing the robot next to him to look back and forth from the door they exit.

[We did go to the same meeting right? Because what I saw was FUBAR as it could get!] Blitz shouted [Half the questions weren't even about the Veil it was about how Whiskers here got a fucking Harem!] the robot said pointing his thumb at Naruto.

"Assholes are just jealous of my swagger" huffed Naruto.

"Not all of them." Kakashi said pointing behind him.

"NARUTO!" shouted Iruka.

"OH SHIT!" Naruto shouted shooting off like a rocket as his old teacher chased after him.

"STOP RUNNING! YOU'RE JUST MAKING IT WORSE FOR YOURSELF, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Iruka roared as he jump on a roof after him.

[You meatbags are weird but if nothing else fucking hilarious to watch, Hahahaha!] Cackled Blitz as he saw Naruto get tackled off a roof to the ground.

"YOU!" SMACK! "STUPID!" SMACK! "PERVERTED!" SMACK! "BAKA!" Iruka shouted slapping Naruto across the face with every word! "A HAREM!?" he shouted bringing Naruto to his feet and shaking him around.

"I-i-i-i d-didn't plan it!" Naruto said as his head whipped around "It just sort of happened!"

CRACK!

"BULLSHIT!" Iruka shouted head-butting the teen in the nose, breaking it. "I knew you were a pervert, but for the love Kami, I never thought you would have a harem!"

"Ma ma calm down Iruka from what I hear it's not all Naruto's fault in fact it's the girls who encouraged this situation." Kakashi said from the other side of the street. "Besides the three of us need to get to another meeting."

[Man what's wrong with you? It was just getting entertaining!?] Huffed Blitz crossing his arms.

"I know it was Blitz, but seriously we do need to get the meeting" Sighed Kakashi at the robots antics. After the assembly ended Tsunade had assigned Kakashi as Blitz's escort in the village so unfortunately he was stuck with the wise cracking machine and had to drag him to the meeting with Danzo that he refused to let Naruto go to alone.

[Fine] sighed the robot [Yo Fuckface! Stop playing dead and pick yourself off the ground!] he shouted.

"Screw you, you walking toaster oven!" groaned Naruto as he snapped his nose back into place…for the fifth time that day. "Sorry to cut our reunion short Iruka sensei but Kakashi-sensei is right I got another meeting to get to."

"We are not done discussing this Harem issue" Grumbled the academy teacher as he stomped away.

Seeing his old teacher stomp away muttering curses made Naruto sweatdrop "You know when I came home I thought it would be Baa-chan that be upset about me having a harem but instead it's my big brother figure whose pissed off."

"Well as the last known Uzumaki you fall under the Clan Restoration Act which allows you to have multiple wives to help restore your clan's number so Tsunade-sama is a lot calmer about the subject." Kakashi explained. "Although I'd keep your guard up just in case" he warned getting a nervous nod from the blonde.

Meanwhile back in Japan…

On top of a building a pale skinned man with bright orange hair stood in silence as he stared at the street below. In his gaze was a younger boy with the same shade of orange hair who walking down the street holding hands with a girl with dark blue hair, both with blushes on their faces.

"It's as if I'm looking into Yahiko's dream" Pain thought to himself. "A world of happiness and peace." He thought as the girl laughed at something the boy said. "They know nothing of pain and suffering," he thought as his hand tighten into a fist "All the more reason that we must succeed in our goals! To ensure that Yahiko's child will never know the pain we suffered so that he will forever have this happiness. I own the boy that much for failing to protect his father."

About two weeks ago when Konan had arrived two days ahead of schedule, Pain or to say Nagato had been concerned as the woman was not known to break routine unless under extreme circumstances. So when she told him what she learned he couldn't blame her for it. NOTHING was more important to them then learning about Yahiko's son. When he had learn this he lost control of Yahiko's body letting the body drop. He and Konan had shared a long chuckled as they knew that if he was alive he most likely would have fainted when confronted with the news. Once he had recovered over the shock he immediately headed for Japan.

And so here he was using Yahiko's body to look at his son from above and wondering if his dearly departed friend was smiling at him from even further up high.

Screeech!

He was broken from his thoughts when two cars moving at dangerously high speed whipped around the corner and then shot off racing down the street! Halfway down the 'track' the car in front was slammed into by the one behind causing it to swerve out of control before it crashed into a parked car and go flying towards RITO AND HARUNA!

"NO!" Pain shouted as he leapt off the blinding and using his chakra to push himself to the frighten teens. He reached them faster than he thought possible. He felt the blood trickling from his nose but he did give a damn as he stood in front of them and put his hand forward launching the flying car toward the other speeding car causing them flipping into the air.

With his heighten vision Pain observed the drivers and discovered that they were some of Hidan's men. Seeing people that were supposed to be a part of his organization put Yahiko's child in danger angered him greatly. So in a fit of rage he crushed both cars into a ball and launched them into the air not caring if they came back down if at all.

"Haruna-chan are you alright!" he heard the boy shout behind him. Pain slowly turned around and found himself not at all surprised to see Rito shielding the girl with his body not caring at for his own life.

"I'm o-o-okay Rito-kun" the girl stuttered still in shock from the ordeal.

"Thank goodness" Rito sighed in relief before he turned around and bow with closed eyes. "Thank you for saving us!" he said and could only blink when he saw no one there. "Huh where he go?" he asked looking the person who saved them.

A few minutes later on a train bound for Tokyo…

"That was close." Pain thought as he sat the Deva path down. "If I hadn't been, NO I will not think about it." He didn't dare imagine what could've happen. "Now I know for certain what I'm doing is right," he thought as the Deva path's eyes panned over to a reflection of itself. "We will bring peace to the world Yahiko and you will be the instrument so that your child will always be safe."

"He will not know pain I promise you that." He vowed to the corpse of his best friend as the train entered a tunnel.

Back in Konoha….

"So you came." Danzo said as he look over the village.

"I didn't want to at first but then my sensei told me that you're not known to make request, and that when you do it usually means something." Naruto said as he walked up next to him.

"He would know" the bandaged man said looking back at Kakashi who was glaring back him just daring the man to pull something. "I'm sure Jiraiya has told you of the things I've done." He said looking back at the village. "But I'm also know that he made you understand it was all for the sake of the Leaf village."

Naruto could only nod as he didn't trust his words.

"Tell me what do feel when you look at the village?" Danzo asked as he continued looking forward.

"That it's great to be home, if feels good to sit at Ichiraku Ramen again, to walk on the street and breath in the fresh air, to see Konohamaru perform the pranking jutsu I taught him, hell it felt great when Sakura punched me in face, sure it hurt like hell but it told me that I was truly home." Naruto said smiling.

A few yards away…..

[Did he just say it felt good to get punched in the face?!] whispered Blitz.

"Once you meet Jiraiya-sama you'll understand." Kakashi answered.

[I don't think I want to?] the robot said to himself making the masked man sweatdrop.

Back with Naruto and Danzo…..

Danzo couldn't help but chuckle slightly before his face become serious again. "And what would you feel if it was destroyed?"

"I wouldn't feel anything because I'll be damned to hell if I ever let that happen!" snarled Naruto before a look of realization reached his face and his head turn slowly to the smirking elder.

"Now you see why Hiruzen never had me killed. He was leaves bathing in the sun. I, I am the roots that grow in the dark. But we were both apart of the same tree." Danzo said. "The things I have done cannot be forgiven but they were done for a greater good."

"But without the leaves what happens to the roots connected to the tree?" Naruto asked.

"They wither and die." Danzo answered find himself impressed with Naruto's question. "But when the tree finally falls it will provide nourishment for the saplings that will take its place." He said turning to Naruto. "That is why I asked you to come." He said motioning to the Third's head. "I'm asking you as the remains of a fallen tree that you have to succeed. For when you marry Lala-sama you'll bring new fertilizer to this grand forest. And it'll prosper like never before."

"I understand Danzo-sama" Naruto said respectfully. While he may not approve of the man's methods he could respect his intentions.

"Good now if you excuse me I have to recall some men there will be much work to do in the coming days." Danzo said as he started to walk away "But before I will leave Sai in your care." He said as the tan cloaked Root nin from before the War Assembly jump down from a tree and bowed.

"In my care?" Naruto said cocking an eyebrow.

"Yes as a bodyguard and advisor. I know you're type Uzumaki, you're loyal to a fault and won't abandon your friends who reside in Japan to the fires of the coming war. I know you intend to return and protect them, but you're too valuable for me to not have one of my men at your side." Danzo said as he stood in front of the kneeling Anbu "Step into the light" he commanded.

Swiftly the Anbu removed he mask and cloak revealing a teen roughly Naruto's age with VERY pale skin.

"This is Sai the strongest ninja under my command in your generation, he will be accompanying you when return to Japan." The founder of Root stated.

"Hello again Uzumaki-sama" Sai said smiling.

"Please just call me Naruto." Naruto said rubbing his neck awkwardly.

"Very well Naruto-kun" the pale boy said smiling.

"Now that you two are acquainted I will take my leave, and do give your fiancé my regards" Danzo said as he left.

When Danzo finally left Naruto and Sai stared at each in awkward silence until "So tell me Naruto-kun do you even have a dick or are you just a big pussy." Sai said making Naruto shouted in rage.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY!?"

"Huh not only are you a pussy you're also deaf." Sai said smiling.

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I FUCKING LOVE THIS GUY ALREADY!] cackled Blitz.
