She opened her eyes from the nightmare, not completely sure of her surroundings. She had been in the middle of dressing when she had fallen asleep, and only had her plaid top on. Groaning, she rolled over and nearly screamed.

"Morning, darling," the King of Hell purred, reaching out to tuck a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. She closed her eyes and tried to fight the tremors that racked her body.

"This was supposed to be over, Crowley," she growled, refusing to open her eyes and let him see her tears.

"Now where's the fun in that?" he smiled, sitting up. "After all you used to be my best…Joanna." Her eyes flashed open at her name.

Her eyes narrowed. "I thought you were saving me for someone else," she sighed.

"I was," Crowley smiled, getting off of the bed, "but then I was watching you…and I couldn't resist. We used to have such fun together."

She tried not to remember her time in Hell…with the King.

"Get out," she growled, finding the courage to stand and point toward the door.

Crowley looked her over. "You've gotten your spark back." He smiled. "I missed it." He closed the door and left her alone.

Dean was wandering down the hallway when he saw Crowley exit a room. He slipped into the shadows, and the demon walked right past him, obviously concerned with other things. Curious, Dean looked from the retreating King of Hell to the room that he just exited. Sighing, Dean decided to let Crowley go, for now.

He continued several feet before stopping in front of the door. He considered knocking, but when did Dean Winchester knock? Instead, he quietly turned the knob, surprised it was unlocked, and slipped through as small of an opening as he could. The room was dark since most of the lights were out, but he heard the shuffling of fabric once the room opened up.

Staying to the shadow, Dean snuck forward to see a blonde haired woman with her back to him. All she wore was an oversized plaid shirt that seemed familiar, but he stayed where he was. After all, she was probably a demon.

The woman stopped, and turned slightly and Dean ducked into a dark corner, praying she didn't see him.

"Hello?" she asked, timidly, as if she was expecting something she feared. "Crowley?" Dean felt his blood run cold. Crowley? This girl was dealing with Crowley. She turned toward him and he looked into the bourbon eyes that had been haunting his dreams.

"Jo?" he gasped, stepping out of the shadows. She whirled around, fear evident in her eyes. She shook her head, tears rolling down her face.

"Stop the games, Crowley," she pleaded. "I know what to do." Her hands went to the end of her shirt to remove it. Dean stepped forward, taking her hands and shaking his head.

"No, Jo. No," he murmured, his thumbs stroking over the back of her hands. Jo looked at him, pain evident in her soft brown eyes. He couldn't resist stroking his thumb over her cheek, so he did. "You have no idea…" he smiled.

Jo sighed and leaned into his warm touch. Warm, not cold. Her eyes widened. "Dean?" she nearly squeaked. She didn't want to believe that this was it. It wasn't just an illusion made by Crowley and his demons.

He kissed her forehead before wrapping his arms around her and holding her close to her chest. "Yeah," he smiled, kissing the crown of her head. Jo couldn't stop the tears that fell. She buried her head in his chest, and he held her tight. "I'm so sorry," he murmured.

Jo shook her head. "It was my choice." She couldn't help but smile. They had only seen each other for the first time in years and they were already fighting. "Don't ruin the moment, Winchester."

Dean kissed her forehead before going for her lips. "Not going to."

Jo sighed and pulled back. "You should go. Crowley will probably be back." Dean nodded and gave her a kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close, deepening the kiss. Jo smiled, and pushed him away. "Go," she laughed.

Dean nodded. "Okay. I'll be back later."

"Of course," Jo smiled.

The King of Hell watched the couple part, a smile on his face. This was going perfectly.
