Thanks again for all your support and kindness towards my story. I have decided to start writing a second part to Flask in His Fist. I can't wait for you all to read it! But first here is a little closing to this happy ending and scene setting for what will come next. :)
"Finn!" Carol yelled.
Finn rolled over in bed and saw the little brunette he loved sleeping and saw that it was only 8 A.M.
"Finn Christopher Hudson!" Carol said at the door.
Rachel jumped at being woke up by someone yelling.
"What is wrong Mom?" Finn asked.
"What is wrong with you? Signing on for another tour."
"Huh I didn't."
"Well the men at the door say you did. That you can be on draft and you are leaving today."
"I can't." He jumped out of bed and threw pants on over his boxers.
He got downstairs and there were two men in uniforms.
"Hudson, when your country calls you have to answer. Are you not packed?"
"I can't be. I didn't agree to this. I have a family to take care of."
"What better way to protect them than to protect them?"
"By staying with them." Rachel said holding Lila in her arms.
"Ma'am this isn't much of your business." One of the men said.
"I am the mother of his child it is my business."
"Rachel, I am sorry. If they say I have to go. I have to go. I love you." Finn said.
"If you leave don't expect me to be here when you get back."
"You don't mean that." Finn said straight.
"I will not wait around for you. What if you don't come back? I need you. You said you were done. You'll turn into the drinking lifeless jerk you were."
"I will love you forever. No matter what."
Finn took Lila from Rachel's arms. "Little girl, you take care of your mommy. I love you more than anything. Be good."
"Love you Daddy." Finn handed her back to Rachel and kiss them both on top of the head.
"Good-bye Finn Hudson." Rachel turned to go upstairs without looking back.
