Theme Song: With Arms Wide Open by Creed

Elita looked up and smiled as she saw Darkstorm approach. She jumped up as fast as she could manage in her heavily sparked state and wrapped her arms around her. "Darkstorm, darling, it's good to see you. How are you?"

"Quite well," Darkstorm smiled and returned the embrace. "It's so good to see you again, Elita."

"So I take it you are here in Ratchet's stead?" Elita placed a servo over her abdomen.

"You would be correct," Darkstorm chuckled before gesturing for Elita to sit down. The older femme complied. "Has the morning sickness ceased?"

"It has indeed, praise God. I feared that dearest Orion was beginning to lose his sanity," Elita laughed lightly before her expression faltered. "I... do not deserve him."

"Hey," Darkstorm placed a servo on her shoulder plating. "Optimus understands what you are going through. He loves you and your son. Don't feel guilty over mere hormones."

"I shall try," Elita's smile slowly returned before she noticed Darkstorm pause, a servo on her helm. "Are you quite alright, darling?"

Darkstorm composed herself before smiling encouragingly at Elita. "I'm fine. Just a mere helm ache. I've... been getting them quite a lot recently." Darkstorm chuckled. "Not to mention a strange craving for the human food called strawberries. Isn't that strange?"

Elita studied the femme, a knowing look in her optics. "Very strange. When you're done checking on me, can you promise me something?"

"Of course. Anything, Elita."

"Promise me that you will go to another medic and get those helm aches checked. I'd hate to have your condition worsen," Elita suggested innocently.

"Hmm, if you insist. If you think it to be serious."

"Oh, I do," Elita smiled brightly. "Call it a carrier-to-be's intuition."

After Darkstorm was finished with her diagnostic of Elita, she hesitantly made her way over to the medical bay. They were just simple helm aches... weren't they? She could not think of a single disease that entailed helm aches and cravings for human food... not to mention her childish outbursts as of late.

She chuckled slightly, remembering how she surprised her brother, her scout, and her young charge by giggling wildly and then twirling when she heard one of her favorite songs come on to the radio.

But perhaps it was nerves? Her spark trying to cope with the War and the DJD fiasco finally being over? It certainly was quite the shock. Treating former 'Con and 'Bot alike in the medical bay without fear of harm and seeing her home world restored to its former glory, but with equality. There was no current government system but Optimus promised that once their home was fully rebuilt, that each city-state would democratically vote for what government they were to have.

And of course new laws would be made ensuring that a terrible abuse of power such as that which caused the War would never happen again.

She paused, realizing that she had reached the medical bay and vented. God, allow it not to be serious.

She paused, forcing a smile to hide her nervousness as she saw the familiar sight of Emusa and Knock Out. Thankfully, no one else was in the medical bay.

"Hey, girlie. Elita holding up?" Emusa smiled.

"She is just fine and, praise God, the morning sickness has stopped. She's very close to giving birth now," Darkstorm replied. "I'm happy for them both."

"Let's just hope that the big O gets some recharge now," Emusa remarked with a smirk before muttering, "Slag, he's scary when he's without recharge."

"You're telling me," Knock Out too muttered but with a slight shudder.

Darkstorm chuckled before pausing, turning to her mentor. "I umm... came here per Elita's orders, actually."

"Oh?" Knock Out quirked an optic ridge.

"I have had odd... cravings and helm aches lately, not to mention odd outbursts. She said that it was imperative that I was checked over by a fellow medic," Darkstorm answered a bit hesitantly.

Knock Out smirked at Emusa. "Cravings, helm aches, odd outbursts." He seemed to take the most interest in the last item. "I might have an idea what it is, but let me ask you this first." He approached the Seeker and dropped his voice to a whisper. "How are things with you and 'Bee?"

"Umm…. whatever do you mean?"

The red medic shifted his posture slightly. "I mean, is there a chance you could be . . . ?"

"Could be what?" Darkstorm chuckled though with a nervous tinge. "My dear friend, you aren't making any sense."

Emusa rolled her optics before asking, "What slick is trying to say is that is there a chance you could be sparked?" She smirked. "You and the scout getting wild lately?"

Darkstorm's cooling fans loudly activated as she stammered, trying to form a response. "I-! W-We… H-He…" She furiously shook her helm. "N-No. We haven't been bonded for that long. Besides, don't you think I am far too young to be sparked?"

"It only takes once. And if your spark is mature enough to bond with another, chances are you're old enough. As your condition would suggest."

Darkstorm blinked her optics rapidly. "B-But… No, no, no. I have a mere physical complaint; I am not sparked. I know I'm not."

"Looks like someone's in denial," Emusa chuckled before grinning. "But come on, girlie. You'll make a great carrier."

"I-I," Darkstorm shook her helm. "Please, Knock Out, check me over. You'll see that I'm not sparked."

He smiled as he reached for the necessary equipment. "Just promise you won't run me through when I only prove what you already know." He paused before setting to work. "Actually . . ." He brought a digit to the side of his helm, activating his comm. "Bumblebee, you may want to come to the medbay real quick. It's, shall we say, a matter of life and death, not to be too dramatic."

Darkstorm's optics widened drastically as she waved her servos. "N-No! What the frag are you doing?!"

"Wow, when you got sparked, I never thought you'd have such a mouth, 'Storm," Emusa smirked. Darkstorm simply glared at the femme.

"Sure thing… But is it about 'Storm? Is she okay?" Bumblebee replied through the comm link, slightly panicking.

Knock Out thought he'd take this opportunity to get his digs into the scout. "Let's just say news of this . . . severity is best delivered in person."

A frantic exclamation of "Oh my gosh!" could be heard before the scout abruptly ended the comm link. Darkstorm turned her glare towards the crimson doctor as she felt her scout's panic through their bond. "Wonderful… Just wonderful."

He shrugged, a mischievous smile on his face. "You'll both thank me if I'm right."

"And if you're wrong?" Darkstorm's glare deepened.

"Then you have proof that he'll drop anything to come to your beck and call when you do have sparklings."

Darkstorm shook her helm, spark still pounding slightly out of… fear? "Which won't be until a very very long time."

Knock Out examined the tool in his servo, deciding against putting it down since he figured the scout would show up any moment. "Last I checked, De Nile is a river on Earth."

Just before Darkstorm could open her mouth to retort, Bumblebee barrel rolled out of his camaro alt mode before frantically running over to the others, nearly crashing into several medical berths as he did so. "W-What happened?! Is she-" He stopped short, seeing that Darkstorm wasn't harmed. "... Okay." He turned to glare at Knock Out. "Knock Out! You had me worried sick. I thought something happened!"

The medic approached Darkstorm, his smile indicating he wasn't at all affected by the scout's glare. "Oh believe me, if anything happened it was your doing."

Bumblebee crossed his arms over his chassis. "Are you nuts? I'd never-"

"Never what?" Emusa's smirk widened. "Because the little something my sparkmate is referring to you two seem to have been doing quite a bit." She wagged a digit playfully. "Oh, bug. I never knew you had it in you."

"W-What are you talking about?"

"You tell me. Your sparkmate says she's having emotional outbursts, helm aches, and unusual cravings. What does that sound like to you?" Knock Out's optics were glued to the instrument in his servo as he scanned the femme's frame.

Bumblebee froze in place, cooling fans activating. "W-What?" His near screeching lowered to a disbelieving whisper. "Storm… How long has this been going on?"

"Since shortly before the DJD attack. I would have told you… but I didn't want you to worry," Darkstorm replied timidly.

Knock Out connected a large handheld display to the instrument and smiled. "Well, he has two of you to worry about now."

Darkstorm looked up at the medic, dread and anticipation filling her tanks and spark. "W-What?"

Maintaining his smile, he tilted the display so she could see what he'd found. "Congratulations."

Coolant welled in Darkstorm's optics as she studied the display, her sparkmate by her side. A tiny glimmering spark could be seen in her incubation chamber. Bumblebee had a similar reaction.

"I-I'm… going to be a sire," Bumblebee said the words slowly as if not totally believing them.

"And I a carrier," Darkstorm whispered. She was happy of course but so scared… How was she to take care of a sparkling? Her fear only lessened when she felt her sparkmate's overwhelming love be sent to her through their bond.

Tears freely streamed out of her optics as her scout embraced her tightly. She returned it gratefully. "Oh, 'Storm… I'm so happy. I just never thought that we would…"

She shakily nodded. "I-Indeed. But, oh how will I-?"

"Together. We'll get through this together, 'Storm."

That is when 'Storm hesitantly began to smile and then, as if another outburst was about to begin, she grinned through her tears. She had a glowing look about her as if she had never been in the War at all. "Oh, my beloved scout. We're going to be creators…" She laughed with abandon. "We're going to be creators!"

Darkstorm pulled Bumblebee into a kiss by the back of his helm. When they pulled away, Darkstorm giggled and spread out her arms. "Oh, I am so happy… This calls for a group hug!"

Emusa looked at Knock Out with a raised optic ridge before embracing the Seeker femme. I've never seen Darkstorm this giddy well…. ever. It's like she's a youngling again. She smirked slightly. I think the next few stellar cycles will be immensely entertaining, don't you?

As long as we steer clear when her emotional swings go the other way. He put his servos up defensively and took a step back. "It's alright. I don't really do group hugs."

Darkstorm pouted, actually pouted. "Knock Out, you just aren't any fun."

"Oh I can be fun, I just know sparked femmes are prone to purging. And much as I respect you, I would rather not tempt fate."

She stuck out her glossa at the mech. "Killjoy!"

Knock Out put his arms behind his back as he leaned forward. "Cautious. As Bumblebee will learn to be, no doubt."

Darkstorm glared childishly at the medic once more she grinned wildly, yanking Bumblebee's servo to follow her. "Oh, my beloved scout! I need to tell Ski'ri!"

He could not respond as he was pulled no, dragged, down the hallway towards Skye and Smokescreen's quarters.

The couple jumped as loud pounding could be heard on the door. Smokescreen raised an optic ridge and hesitantly opened before he was nearly thrown backwards as Darkstorm embraced him. "Oh, Smokescreen! It's so good to see you!" She grinned before activating her holoform and nearly tackling her charge. "Ski'ri! I've come with wonderful news!"

Skye let out a surprised laugh. "It must be big to merit this reaction."

Darkstorm giggled. "It is! Oh mo mear Ski'ri, I'm sparked! I'm actually sparked!"

Smokescreen turned to Bumblebee, shocked, before breaking out into a grin. "Bee, never knew ya had it in you!" He punched his shoulder plating playfully. "Congratulations!"

"Thanks," Bumblebee chuckled warmly before pausing. "Let's just hope her brother doesn't terminate me when he finds out."

Skye grinned broadly, her eyes going wide. She tightly returned her guardian's hug. "Dar'sain, that's amazing! Congratulations!"

"Thank you," Darkstorm grinned. "Oh, I don't know why I was so nervous before. This is so exciting! Optimus and Elita's son now has a future playmate and oh, 'Bee, names! We still haven't picked out a designation yet! And we must tell the others. Oh, my brother will be so pleased and dearest Dre'wan… and Elita!" Bumblebee's words were cut off yet again as she yanked his arm towards the doorway. "We have to tell the others! I shall see you soon, Ski'ri!"

"Smokes, somebody, help me," Bumblebee yelled before his breath was cut off, presumably by another hard tug from his sparkmate. "Primus, 'Storm. When did you get to be so strong?"

Once they had left, Smokescreen laughed. "Looks like he's going to have his servos full. Never seen 'Storm like that."

Skye giggled. "Me either. And to think, she kept insisting she was too young." The girl shook her head. "Something tells me she'll love being a mum though. And she'll be a great one."

"Yeah, I think so too," Smokescreen smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "But we're sparkmates now. Your turn might be coming up." He chuckled. "And I know my brothers would be thrilled if they found out they were uncles."

She leaned against him, smiling. "They certainly seem like they'd enjoy it. We might just have to keep an eye on Bluestreak. If he thought I was a scraplet when he first saw me, I cringe to think what he'd do if they were playing and the little one started crying." She laughed. "Panic, probably."

"Eh, he's always been like that, I'm afraid," he laughed. "When we were younglings, he was convinced that a secret society was out to terminate him through an air-borne disease and so he wouldn't even look at something without sanitizing it and he always walked around with his servos covering his mouth."

Skye laughed again. "Oh that's priceless."

"Yup, that's my brother for you. And don't even get me started on how stiff Prowl became once he joined the military. Thank God he had Jazz or else he'd never have any fun-"

Smokescreen paused as a loud voice interrupted him from outside the hallway. "Brother! Broth-AH! Stop it! Stop it now! Get it away from me! Prowl's gone mad! He's trying to kill me!"

Smokescreen deactivated his holoform and attempted to calm his brother down as a flash of blue and grey crashed into him. The older Praxian's doorwings were raised in alarm as he attempted to use Smokescreen as a shield as Prowl and Jazz went into the room.

Prowl gazed down at his younger brother sternly. "Bluestreak, cease this at once. Ratchet merely needed to give you an overdue inoculation. If you stop struggling, things will be much simpler-"

"No! That needle is filled with diseases! You aren't sticking me with it!"

"Ah come naw, Blue. We ain't gonna kill ya. It's tah prevent ya from gettin' sick, 's all," Jazz attempted to encourage.

"You're in league with them! I'm not listening to you!"

Smokescreen turned to his sparkmate with a deadpan expression. Did I tell you or didn't I tell you?

Wow . . . yeah, you told me.

"Blue, come on," Smokescreen attempted to console as he wriggled out of his brother's grip. "It's just a little shot. We've been through this before."

Bluestreak backed away from him in shock. "You're in league with them too!"

Smokescreen vented, exasperated. "Bluestreak-"

"Get away from me! I'm not going in there even if it kills me!"

Care to help us out here? Smokescreen pinched the bridge of his upper facial plating.

Skye looked to Smokescreen wide-eyed. W-what, me?! I don't know what to do!

Aren't femmes supposed to have natural carrier coding?

Femmes maybe, but I have about as much tact at such affairs as an elephant does on a tightrope.

Wait… a wha-? Smokescreen's thoughts were interrupted as Bluestreak activated his sniper rifle and began pointing it them. He had a natural sense of paranoia, even when he was younger, and his stay with the DJD did nothing to aid it.

"Back! Back, I say!"

Jazz raised his servos and chuckled nervously. "Easy, Blue. We're jus' tryin' tah help ya… Now put da gun away-"

"No, now you all have diseases!"

Well… who knows? It might work.

B-w-what do you expect me to do?

Well… uh, do what femmes do when someone's stressed.

If this goes south, it's all on you. Skye sighed. "H-hey, Bluestreak, I d . . . don't . . ." Skye nervously smiled, having no idea what to do or say.

Bluestreak's doorwings flapped nervously. "N-No… Don't tell me. You're in league with them too?"

She shrugged, looking around at the others before looking to Bluestreak. "You know, on Earth there was a culture of people who were very clean. They bathed daily and didn't keep any animals as pets, so they were never exposed to illness. When settlers from another continent arrived, their immune systems couldn't fight off the disease that came with the settlers because they never had to. Shots aren't so bad in comparison, are they?"

Bluestreak hesitated. "So… if I get a shot… then it'll p-protect me?"

The human smiled. "That's the whole point of them. Your brothers aren't trying to needlessly torture you, I promise."

Bluestreak slowly deactivated his rifle. "T-They aren't?"

Prowl stared at the human femme in shock. Primus, it was working.

"Believe me, if they wanted to do harm upon you there are easier means than to make you sit still long enough for a shot."

All the tension slowly left Bluestreak's frame before he vented. "Y-Yeah… I guess you're right."

"O' course she is," Jazz patted his shoulder plating. "Now come on. Le's get ya some energon goodies."

Bluestreak nodded childishly. "Energon goodies… Okay."

Prowl and Jazz slowly led Bluestreak out of the room. Smokescreen freely vented before turning to his sparkmate. "Mech, you're good. Usually, it'd take all three of us to drag him into the med bay."

"In all fairness, they did just lure him away with cookies." She lazily indicated to the door as she spoke.

"Yeah but calming him down is no small feat," Smokescreen smiled before venting once more. "Sorry about that. Being my sparkmate might just be hazardous to your health."

Skye lightly laughed. "If I survived a stand-off with MECH and that little bone-hunt with Knock Out, I think I can handle your brothers."

"If you're sure," Smokescreen nervously chuckled.

Dreadwing and Skybreak looked up from their lobbing game with the Wreckers as an excited giggle met them. Dreadwing immediately thought it was Moonracer but when he glanced at her, she too was staring at the two bots in the distance curiously. As they got closer, Dreadwing realized with surprise that it was his little storm, nearly skipping with her sparkmate in tow.

He'd seen her happy, yes. But… never like this.

"Dar'sain, what has gotten into-?" Dreadwing gasped before getting knocked backwards as Darkstorm wrapped her arms around his neck tightly. "...You," he finished with a groan.

"Dre'wan! Oh, I have such wonderful news! I'm sparked!"

Dreadwing stared at her in shock. "What?" His little storm, sparked? He knew she and the scout were bonded but it seemed like only yesterday that he had rescued her and her brother off the streets of Kaon…

How times had changed.

He slowly returned the embrace. "That is wonderful news, Dar'sain," he smiled softly.

"Oh, totally!" Moonracer giggled as she too embraced the femme. "Group hug!" Dreadwing groaned again as more weight was added onto his chassis.

Skybreak glared slightly at the scout who was attempting to walk away but was stopped by an outstretched servo. "So, sparked, huh?"

"Uh…. m-maybe?" Bumblebee winced, half-expecting Skybreak to do something terrible to his doorwings.

Skybreak smirked. "Come now, Praxian. I won't hurt you, especially with your bond to my sister. Besides, we're brothers now…" Bumblebee's optics widened as Skybreak leaned forward and whispered into his audial receptors, "You'd better be taking care of my sister, punk, or else, as your brother, I might just have to teach you a lesson."

"Y-Yeah… Of course."

Skybreak patted his shoulder plating with a grin. "Goo-Aow!"

Darkstorm glared at her brother as she grasped his wing tightly. "How many times have I told you to be civil?"

Skybreak's optics widened, surprised at his sister's outburst. "Sister, i-it was just a little fun. I didn't-"

"While I appreciate your concern, Bumblebee is treating me well. And he shall continue to do so in the future! So, please, act your age!" Even Bumblebee's optics widened as his sparkmate continued to yell.

He knew her moods were going to swing the other way eventually but… dang.

Skybreak winced. "Okay, okay, okay. I'm sorry. I really am happy for you, Sister."

"That's what I thought you were saying," Darkstorm released him. Her dark expression slowly brightened as she kissed her brother's buccal plating. "Now, come. If you're not too preoccupied, I'd prefer to have you celebrate with me."

I am so fragged, Skybreak thought. "Y-Yeah… Right."

"Won't you join us, Moonracer?"

Moonracer smiled, albeit nervously. This was going to be a loooong three stellar cycles. "Of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world, 'Storm."

"Oh!" Darkstorm grinned and turned back to her sparkmate. "And we have to tell dearest Rafael, 'Bee! Come on!"

After 'Storm and the others left, Miko and the other Wreckers stood there in shock. "Whoa… That was intense," Miko muttered.

"You're telling me," Bulkhead added.

Perceptor turned towards Wheeljack. "And that was… the Seeker medic you were discussing earlier, yes?"

"Very same," Wheeljack smirked. "Though I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't enjoy the show, especially where her brother's concerned."

Miko and Bulkhead let loose a small chuckle. Things certainly were changing but, they felt they were changing for the better.

The dark remnants of the Decepticons were destroyed.

And now that dawn was rising, each of them were eager to meet their new horizons.

D/N: Yessss, surprise, surprise. Darkstorm is sparked! :D For all of you who thought it'd never happen, well it just did. It makes you look forward to the new saga, doesn't it? And believe me when I say you don't want to miss it. More characters= more romance= more drama. Sooo stay tuned!

To Windcharger: I would never hate you, my dear friend. Take all the time you need. I understand. And yes, lol. I love how they added Brains to the movie!

To Super Shadic: Well, we're glad the feels satisfied you :33 And no, not at all. I just wanted to pay tribute to G1. And that could be true. Rodimus couldn't even receive the Matrix but I think Optimus, Elita, and I are hoping that he will.

Let God Defend You by Joel Osteen

"God is a just God and He will repay the exact compensation owed you. He will settle and solve the cases of His people" Hebrews 10:30

Are you dealing with an "unsolved case" from your past that needs resolution? Are you waiting for your day of justice or repayment? God promises in His Word that He is your Vindicator. He is your Defender. He will settle your case and repay everything the enemy has stolen. But in order to allow Christ to settle your debts, you have to forgive others in the same way Jesus forgave you when you were guilty of sin. You have to release those who have wronged you from what you think they owe you. That's true forgiveness- freeing others so that you can be free.

As you walk and live in forgiveness, you show that you trust in God to repay and defend you. You show that you have faith in God to be your Defender. God will honor your faith in Him and move on your behalf, every single time!

Prayer for Today: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Defender. I ask You right now to search my heart and show me any areas that I have not released to You. Help me forgive those who have wronged me so that I may be free to live in victory.

Thank you so much for being with us through this wild ride and we hope to hear from you all once we post our new saga next week! May God bless you and your day, my lovely friends!

Until next time, Dream'sRealm

B/N: Hey guys~ sooo we have yet another surprise for all you as our way of closing out Dark Remnants. Then again, hasn't it been full of surprises? I mean we met Plasmarift and Emusa, then found out "oh snap they haven't had it easy," then bringing the family back together, and now this mwahahahaaa

Oh, speaking of surprises, earlier this week on Tumblr I posted a link to a Storm x Bee oneshot I wrote for Dream'sRealm's birthday /even though it was 2 weeks late/sob. Even if you don't have a Tumblr account you can check into it (believe me, I kept tabs on my dA friends' DGM OC blog for months before getting my own account), so you can just skedaddle to ask - dreamy - and - blondie every couple days or so and you'll be up to date on all the shenanigans we're up to~

Windcharger (TIAFD): Hound yes amg xD gotta love the BA military-types. Aha yeeaaahhh that really ticked my mom off (partially because she's a medic, a cranky one at times, so she always identified with and loved him), so she said after that part the movie lost all her respect. Me, I had heard months ago that Optimus was supposed to die in AoE, so I legit started crying at a couple parts to the plea "Not again, please no not again!"
