The sun rose the next morning and the sound of the rooster was heard as Xion was the first to wake up to be greeted by the morning light peeking through the curtains of her window. The brunette stood up on her bottom and stretched her arms out. She looked down at Naminé, who was sleeping by her side. She smiled as she commented in her thoughts "She is so adorable when she sleeps."

Xion then leaned in and placed a kiss on Naminé's forehead. The blonde girl woke up, slowly opening her eyes as she looked up to the raven haired girl. She smiled at Xion as she greeted "Good morning, Xion."

"Good morning, Naminé. Slept well?" Xion asked, stroking Naminé's golden locks.

"Mm-hmm. I was sleeping like a baby." Naminé answered as she sat up with hands on her bending knees.

Xion stroke Naminé's cheek softly with her knuckles as she suggested "How's about some breakfast before we go to school?"

"Sure." Said Naminé as they shared a kiss and got off the bed. The two girls slipped out of their pajamas and into their daily clothes before going down to the kitchen.

Naminé sat at the table while Xion went to the cupboards to find a box of cereal. She pulled it out and showed it to Naminé, asking "Want some cereal?"

Naminé smiled in delight as she responded "Oh, yes please!" Xion then brought out a box of cereal along with two bowls and two spoons and set them all up. "Thank you, Xion."

As they ate, Roxas came down the stairs, yawning and scratching his head and the side of his hip while he walked to the kitchen all drowsy. He then noticed that Naminé was sitting at the island eating cereal with Xion. Xion took notice of Roxas coming in and said "Hey, Roxas! Good morning to you!"

Naminé turned to see Roxas and said with a shy smile "Oh! Good morning, Roxas."

Roxas greeted back while still very confused of why Naminé was here, even though he was glad to see her in his and Xion's house. "Uh, hi, Naminé. W-What are... you doing here?"

"Oh, wh-what am I...?" Naminé blushed as she was trying to come up with an answer of why she was at their house. "W-Well, um... I was... Um... You see I um..."

Xion then answered for her "Naminé was just too tired to walk to her house after our trip to the island and back, so I allowed her to sleep at our house. With me in my bed, of course."

"Uh, yes. That's how it happened." Naminé confirmed with a sweet smile, sighing with relief as she quietly thanked Xion for the save.

Roxas was a little confused of how Xion explained the reason, but he decided to shrug it off, not giving it any thought. "Well, it's good to see you again, Naminé." Said Roxas with a smile. "I might like seeing you every morning."

Naminé shot her eyes open with a blush as she asked "Wh-What?"

Roxas blushed in embarrassment after realizing what he just said "Err... That is...! I-I mean...!"

Xion shook her head as she said "I think what Roxas meant was that seeing you fills his heart with warmth, and he would like to see you and hear your voice everyday for the rest of his life."

Roxas then dropped his head on the table at Xion giving such an overly specified explanation. "That didn't help much, Xion..." Meanwhile, Naminé made a shy and sweet smile while poking her index fingers together, thinking of spending her life with Roxas.

Xion then petted Roxas' head as she said in gratitude "By the way, Roxas, you did awesome cleaning the place. Mom and Dad are gonna be proud when they come back."

Roxas looked at his sister with a smile and said "Thanks, sis."

Later that morning at the school, Roxas, Xion, and Naminé were all dressed in their school uniforms waiting for their friends to arrive. The first to greet them was Riku. "Morning, everybody."

"Good morning, Riku." Naminé greeted with a sweet smile.

"Hey, Riku." Roxas greeted.

Xion blushed as she smiled and greeted "Good morning, Riku."

Just then, Xion had her head pulled by an arm which was Kairi's, who decided to greet her with a noogie. "Hey, Xion! Missed me?"

"We... haven't... seen each othe... for only three days, Kairi...!" Xion struggled to say, nearly struggling to talk due to the strong grip of Kairi's arm.

Kairi then released Xion, and the raven haired girl rubbed her neck in relief as Kairi said "It felt like years to me."

"Hey guys." Said Sora, who approached them with a wave.

"Hi, Sora." Naminé greeted.

"Hey, Sora. What's up?" Roxas asked.

"Ah, nothing much. Just having to do chores my mom always seems to get me doing." Sora mentioned, putting his hands behind his head.

Riku then commented "I suppose we should be lucky that your mom keeps you going in our stead."

Sora frowned at Riku, taking the comment as an offense and said "Oh, very funny, Riku!" The interaction between the two caused the others to chuckle. Sora then decided to put Riku's teasing aside. "Well, anyway. What about you guys?"

"My story is the same as yours." Roxas answered with a droopy face. "Only I had a sister who told me to do 'em."

"Hey, you didn't have as much homework as I did, so it was only fair that you did some chores while I studied." Said Xion, standing upright in pride.

"Oh, and what about you, Xion?" Asked Kairi.

Xion shoot her eyes open as she begand to stutter nervously "I uh... Well, um... I..."

Roxas then cupped his chin as he said "From what I can tell, she and Naminé were heading for the island by themselves, in bathing suits."

Xion and Naminé blushed as Kairi said with a teasing grin "Oh, really? You know, you could've invited me along."

Naminé bowed her head in shame, realizing that they should've invited Kairi to go with them. "Oh, sorry, Kairi. We didn't think about bringing you along."

Kairi fanned her hand as she said "Nah, it's no big deal. Just remember next time, okay?"

Roxas then asked Kairi "So, what have you been doing yesterday?"

"Oh, well Selphie just dragged me into shopping." Kairi answered. "I just couldn't say no to her. And the funny thing is, I ran into Riku."

Riku face palmed himself in embarrassment as he explained "It's not like I was there for an errand. Tidus and Wakka would not stop bothering me. They wanted me to hang out with them for hotdogs."

Sora couldn't help but chuckle as he commented "They were being a bunch of free loaders, weren't they?"

"Yeah, of course they were." Riku confirmed. "Why else would they want me to join them for lunch?" Hearing Riku say that made the others laugh.

Once they were in class, their algebra teacher announced the beginning of the test. The test papers were handed out and the students began to write down their respective answers. Once the test was over, the teacher graded the papers and then handed them out back to the students. Some reacted with enthusiasm, others sighed in relief, while others groaned in frustration or devastation.

Roxas rubbed his neck as he said "W-Well, no, I-I guess not, but..." Before he could finish, the blonde boy received his result and saw that his grade was a C plus. Seeing that stamped on his test paper caused Roxas to cover his face in his palms and groan in devastation. "Aw man... I totally blew it..."

Then Sora, who had a D on his test, commented "Aw, what are you complaining about? If the grades are bad, there's always next time."

"Why are you so content about this?!" Roxas questioned. "You got a bad grade, too. Heck, it's worse than mine!"

"So what? I'll betcha Kairi didn't do so well, either." Said Sora, when he heard Kairi cheer with glee, which caused him to become confused as he looked over at Kairi.

"Yes! Awesome! I got B plus!" Kairi rejoiced, showing her paper to the class, which caused most of the other classmates to comment her success in admiration.

Sora gawked in shock "Wh-What?! H-How...? How...?"

Kairi then winked at Sora and said in a teasing tone "Maybe you could use a bit of tutoring if you'll let me, Sora."

Sora responded with a grumpy pout as Roxas said with a smirk "You know, if we want to do better next time..."

Wow, I've completely lost track of how long I've neglected my stories, especially this one right here. Good thing I've finished this chapter before the end of Summer. As for the next chapter, I'm willing to hear some suggestions of what you think should happen with Naminé, how Xion and Kairi plan to share with her the experience.

And who knows, maybe afterwards, they might make love to their respective boyfriends.
