Chichi was humming as she stirred the cookie dough. It was a beautiful day for the Son house.

"Goku, you'll be happy when you see our little Goten." She said to herself, looking up dreamily.

Unbeknownst to Chichi, someone came in and was listening.

"You'll also be surprised on how and when he was made!" She started to hum again.

A question popped into the intruders head. And it wouldn't go away.

"You left me with such a great baby. He's just like you." She continued.

"Mom, How are babies made?" Goten blurted out. He slapped a hand to his mouth.

Chichi jumped up, knocking down the pot in surprise. She whirled around.

"GOTEN! You scared the living daylights out of me!"

Goten cowered. But the more he thought about it, the more he grew curious. All kids yearn to know this at one point or another.

"But mom! I want to know." He said innocently.

Chichi's face paled. How was she going to explain this?

"Well, Goten, let me tell you." She started, as she pulled up a chair.

LATER
Gohan was working on his homework outside when he was disturbed by the sound of chickens going crazy.

"Come here, you hen!" Came Goten's little boy shout. The sound of something choking filled the air, then all was quiet. Except for the sound of Goten squealing with joy.

"I caught one!"

"What is he doing now?" Gohan said to himself, sighing. His brother was always doing something odd. The teen got up to go investigate.

When he reached the corner, he saw Goten checking up the chickens bottom.

"GOTEN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Gohan shouted, flying quickly to the little boy, who looked up, surprised.

"I'm looking to see if I'm going to have another little brother or sister." He answered.

Gohan reached the kid. He scratched the back of his head. "What are you talking about?"

"Well, you see, mom said that babies are made by chickens." Goten said, smiling.

"What?"

"She said that they lay the eggs, then they sit on them and then when the eggs hatch, a baby is made, and then the grown ups take care of them from there."
