In life we have many encounters some are good and well some are mad. And, for Katniss Everdeen she believed her encounter with the demigods was a mixed bag.
They were courageous and understandable at times but they were also distant and put a sense of mystery in everything thing they did, especially Nico.
This was something Katniss have only thought about alone, they were different from every tribute in the games, they didn't care about winning they somehow only cared about keeping her and Peeta alive.
A start and a spark in the rebellion
Which was how Annabeth explained their reasons. It was insane to think of a rebellion, no one dared to define the capitol.
Then again if Katniss were paying attention she would have figured everything out a long time ago. But here she was, staring at the repays of the games and saw in horror that all the demigods were nowhere to be seen.
They were gone, the districts they were from had new tributes. She realized it when she saw a boy from district 4 who had absolutely no resemblance to Percy Jackson.
He had blonde hair instead of black, his eye's were the color of glaciers, and his build was like he spent every single moment of his life surfing instead of swimming.
It was the same for every other district. Confused was the word Katniss was at that very moment.
How could they just disappear without a trace?
In the reruns it made her look like a lone survivor, who's only ally was Rue and eventually Peeta when she died.
"Strange isn't? It's seems like they were just imaginary" Peeta whispers, standing next to Katniss looking at the reruns.
Unlike Katniss, Peeta knew their encounter with the demigods was good. Katniss was missing special details that only he knew.
"I wonder if anyone in the capitol noticed" Katniss says back, still staring at the Television.
Peeta sits down on the couch in the living room of the suite, sighing.
The last interview for the two victors with Caesar Flickerman was tonight, any by the next day they would be on the train back to district 12 as the famous star crossed lovers of Panem.
"Already asked, apparently the tributes from those districts died in the bloodbath, didn't even make it a minute before the careers came after them."
Katniss sighs sitting next to Peeta "Yeah I saw that."
Silence fills over the room as the silently look at the re runs of the games that were on mute, they never wanted to heard the sounds of death again.
When the finial showdown starts in the re runs Katniss turns to Peeta just remembering something important, "What did Thalia tell you before the finial showdown began?" Katniss asks recalling the time Thalia grabbed saying she would like to have a word with him.
"Umm. . . she told me good luck, then .. she told me how they were going to escape"
What?
"She told you how they were going to escape and magically make it seem like we are insane for thinking we were in the arena alone the whole time."
"Yeah, I didn't understand it at first, but I do now"
"explain"
"Remember when everyone of them were on a mutt and they suddenly just disappeared in the shadows" Katniss nodded, recalling the event.
"I have a feeling they transported each other by shadows"
"Transported by shadows?"
"yes"
"That's impossible, you can't use shadows as a form of transportation"
i'm done! I'm amazingly tired and in Mexico so adios!
