The Cockroach
"Alright, Dudes," America announced as he put papers 'neatly' into a file and stuck it in a drawer. "That concludes the meeting for today. All we have to do about global warming is..." He trailed off as he stared at...the table?
"Dudes...nobody move," America said as he tiptoed over to the table and held his arms up for everyone to stay still. No one understood what America was warning them about until England notice something move out of the corner of his eye. He nearly spilled his tea as he realized what America was talking about. The other nations noticed England jump and also noticed a bug on the table.
Instantly Japan screamed and looked as if he would jump through the ceiling. A cockroach, no less bigger than maybe four or five inches was crawling around on the table. It's antennae twitching and twirling around it's head. It crawled on top of England's half-eaten scone, but then scattered away from it.
"I'm not touching that scone again," England said, tossing it in the trash.
"Disgusting!" France said, a shiver running down his spine. Italy wrinkled his nose and stuck out his tongue in a disgust way. By then, Japan had fainted.
"Must be bad if even a roach doesn't want it. Dude, that's a huge sucker!" America said, staring at it in amusement. England glared at him, but was obviously being ignored. America began to reach his finger out to it, but England slapped at his hand.
"Don't touch it! You have no idea where it's been! It could have crawled out of the loo for all we know!" he said as he held his tea close, afraid that the roach would crawl up in it.
"It looks like an alien," America said as he put his face at the level of the table continued to stare at it. Russia smiled.
"Is anyone going to kill it?"
"Aiya! No!" China said, standing up in protest. "It could be great ancestor! If we ask it, it will go away."
"Pfftt, Dude, the only good roach is a dead one," America said. He took off his shoe and raised it in the air, about to strike. China held his arm back.
"No, it mean no harm to us. It be wrong to kill innocent creature," China said, trying to convince America to show mercy to the bug.
"How about we catch it and put it outside so it can be free? It'sa probably just lost and wants to find it's way home," Italy suggested. He was kind, even to bugs.
"Dude, no! It eats anything it can get its disgusting legs on! It must be a German roach because they're the only species of roach that comes inside houses and buildings and stuff," America said as he tried again to break away from China's grip.
"I no let you kill ancestor!" China said angrily.
Suddenly, everyone heard a loud slam and looked to see Germany. He had gotten up from his seat and smacked his papers at the roach, killing it instantly.
"Zhere! It's dead! Ist everyone happy now?!" He screamed in annoyance. This meeting wasn't going to end unless something was done about that stupid bug. Everyone stared at Germany in shock. Even Japan seemed to have woken up.
"Dude!" America said, staring at him in surprise and holding up his arms in 'what was that for?!' way. "You killed one of your own roaches!"
"You kill ancestor!" China screamed and had a 'breakdown'. Japan sighed in relief.
"Thank Buddha it is dead."
"How could you, Germany?!" Italy began to cry.
Afterwords, the meeting concluded and the cockroach was forgotten.
End.
{Yeah, I know. This story was a little dumb. It came to my mind randomly and I just had to write it down. I don't blame Japan for fainting, I hate cockroaches.}
