Chapter 12

The next morning, I woke up and heard the shower running. I smiled as I remembered the events from last night and looked at my hand; a simple diamond ring was set upon a golden band. I kissed the ring then got up and got dressed. Tobias came out a few minutes later, fully dressed, and smiled at me. "Good morning."

"Morning." We shared a kiss and smiled at each other. "Do you have to go to work this morning?"

"No, I don't have to go in until after lunch so I'm all yours. What do you want to do?"

"Well, I would like to get something to eat; I'm starving."

"Sure." Tobias and I walked out of the apartment, hand in hand, to the cafeteria. Once we got there, we got our food and then sat down to eat with our friends.

"Hey guys," I said, smiling at everyone. They all gave us some form of hello. I was about to start a conversation with Marlene when Christina squealed. Everyone stopped talking and looked at her, who was staring at my hand. "You and Four are getting married?!" The attention was turned to me and Tobias. "Yes, we are getting married," I answered.

"I proposed to her last night," Tobias explained, taking my hand in his.

Zeke suddenly stood up in his seat. "Can I have everyone's attention?" The whole room grew quiet and stared at Zeke. "Four and Tris are getting married!" Everyone in the room started cheering and clapping at the news and I blushed bright red from all the attention. Tobias gently grabbed my chin and made me look at him. "I love you so much." I smiled. "I love you too." We kissed and hollers could be heard and I felt Tobias smile against my lips. We parted and smiled at each other then faced our friends as they told us congratulations, as well as the faction of Dauntless.

THREE YEARS LATER

CHRISTINA'S POV

A scream was heard from above as a girl in blue landed in the net. Four helped her up and asked her what her name was. The girl stared at Four for a minute before answering that her name was Rose. "First jumper, Rose!" Cheers could be heard from the Dauntless members. "Welcome to Dauntless," Four said. Rose smiled at him before walking away. Rose had shoulder length red hair and green eyes and kept on checking Four. If Tris were here, she would have kissed Four to show her that he was taken. The rest of the initiates jumped and I saw that we had 9 transfers, five from Candor and four from Erudite, and 12 Dauntless born.

"Dauntless born go with Marlene and Matt, transfers stay with us," exclaimed Four. Matt was a transfer from Amity that passed through initiation and he's one of the new Dauntless born trainers. Matt was very strong from someone who came from Amity but he showed his class that just because he is from Amity doesn't mean he won't fight. He's a pretty nice guy but will fight when he has to; he came in third on the final rankings.

"I'm Four and this is Christina, she's filling in for one of our other trainers."

"We'll give you a tour of the faction and we expect no Candor smartass remarks," I replied, glaring at the Candors. Even though they were originally part of my faction, it's fun to scare the crap out of the initiates. Four and I showed the transfers around and showed them where they will be sleeping during initiation. We told the transfers, after the tour, that they could do whatever they want for the rest of the day but had to be in the training room at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning. We left and walked into the cafeteria. I walked over to Will and gave him a quick kiss; we got married about a month after we found out that Tris and Four were engaged. After we sat down to eat, the transfers walked in and two Erudite girls sat down next to us.

"Four is so hot," I heard Rose say. "I'm so happy I transferred here; we'll be perfect together."

"I don't know, Rose," the other girl said. "I think that Four is taken I mean look at him; how can a guy that hot be single?"

"Your just saying that Becca because you want Four for yourself," said Rose.

Wow, this girl is going to get a reality check when she finds out about Four, I thought to myself.

Will smiled at me then motioned for me to turn around. I did and saw Tris walk into the cafeteria and head over towards Four. She sat down beside him and gave him a peck on the cheek. Four smiled at her and kissed her on the lips then placed his hand on her stomach, rubbing it affectionately. I smiled at the two and I remembered the day that Tris told me she was a month pregnant. I was so excited and I couldn't stop talking about the baby for days. She is now seven months pregnant and Four didn't want Tris to train initiates because he was worried about the baby so Tris asked me if I could be the transfer instructor this year.

"Do you know?" I turned to my side and saw Becca staring at me while Rose was staring at Tris.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you know who she is?"

I smiled. "Yes I do." The initiates looked at me and gave me a look saying continue. "That is Tris and she is Four's wife."

TRIS'S POV

"How was your first day of training?" I asked Tobias.

"It was good. How's the baby?"

I smiled. "The baby is fine."

"That's good." Tobias kissed me on the lips then wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close to him. I leaned my head on Tobias's shoulder and sighed. My life and our friends lives have been good these past three years. Marlene and Uriah are married and so are Will and Christina. Zeke and Shauna had been on and off but he finally proposed to her and now they are getting married in a few months. Me and Tobias are married and we are going to have a baby. Tobias has been nothing but caring these past few months and he was with me through all the mood swings I was in; even the times I was yelling at him for no reason.

When I look back on my life to the day of my choosing ceremony, I was worried about leaving my parents to go into a faction that I belonged in. Now, I'm so happy that I transferred or else I would never have met Tobias and I wouldn't be married to him today and be pregnant with his child. Life is good and I hope it continues that way for the rest of our lives.

Done! Hoped you like the ending and the story. Also, to everyone who wanted the story about Tris being a princess and all that, that story won't be up for a while. I want to give myself some time as I work on my other story for a bit. Expect the story with Tris being a princess up either towards the end of October or the beginning of November.
