Pokemon Eclipse Version
GammaTron: Hey, everyone! Merry Christmas Eve! For a special gift, we have a special new story based off Sun and Moon!
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. It is owned by Game Freak and Nintendo. I do own my OC Cyber and her grandmother, though.
A ringing went off on a computer. The mouse was grasped gently and moved across the mousepad, settling on an icon on the screen that was shaking. The icon was clicked twice and a screen popped up, an epic tropical theme blaring from the screen. On it was a live feed of a man in just an open labcoat from what could be seen, showing off his tanned body, sunglasses, and a hat on his head.
=Hang on, now. Gimme just a sec...= the man noted as he adjusted the camera until he got it the way he wanted it =Hey there! Good afternoon! So the day has finally come that you're moving to Alola!= he moved to the side, causing a screen to appear that displayed an image of four different sized islands =Alola is a region made up of several different islands. That could be the reason the region is chock full of nothin' but rare Pokémon, yeah!= the popup closed =There's no shortage of cool Pokémon out here in Alola, either!= he held up a red and white sphere =Such mysterious creatures!= He tossed the sphere into the air and a pop and flash of light followed before an adorable brown and cream dog with large blue eyes and rocks in its fluffy neck landed, caught in the man's arms =You find 'em all over. In the grass, in the caves, in the sky and sea... Here in Alola we love our Pokémon, and we depend on them heaps, too. Some of us even battle with 'em, if we call ourselves Pokémon Trainers!= the entire time, the puppy was moving all about of the screen, sniffing everything until its nose covered the screen =Rockruff! Can you wait until I'm done talkin' to play?!= the puppy barked before the screen was clear of the puppy =All right, I gotta ask you some questions about yourself so I can introduce you to everybody!= he held up six photos =So which photo should I use for your Trainer Passport?=
"That one."
=You OK with the one you chose, yeah? All right then, I'll let you spell out your name for me= a blank bar appeared =Your name?= fingers danced across the keyboards, filling the bar with letters =So, you go by Cyber Chichigami Miko? 10-4, good buddy! I'll let everybody out here know you're on your way!= he crossed his arms as he adopted a contemplative expression =Cyber!= he nodded while pumping his arms =Yeah, that's a name that hits you like a Thunderbolt outta the sky! Woo! Can't wait to see you in person then, cousin!=
With that, the screen changed to 'Connection Terminated.' The program was closed out of and the person sitting at the computer got up, running a hand through their hair and gave a small stretch before walking off.
The moon shined down upon a large white structure floating upon the ocean. The sound of an elevator reaching its floor went off and a young girl around thirteen panted as she ran from the elevator, clutching onto a sports bag to her developing figure, the large white sunhat on her head covering most of her head except for her long platinum blond hair. She panted in her running, her body aching from running for so long in such a short time.
"There she is!"
"Stop her!"
The girl's eyes widened under her hat as she skidded to a halt and ran to the right, a pair of men chasing her from the left. She gasped and skidded to a halt when a larger man stood at the end of the path, his arms crossed with a smirk.
"It's over," he informed as he began to approach her.
The girl held the sports bag closer as the three approached her, cutting off all her exits. Just as the tallest of the three neared her, the bag began to glow. A sphere of energy erupted and engulfed the girl, knocking the men off the path they were on and over the railings down below. The girl didn't hear the splashes of the men falling into the artificial pond beneath them or anything else. The sphere vanished, leaving nothing behind, the light of the full moon shining upon the area through the glass ceiling not giving even a hint of there being a young girl there.
"Meow~th!"
A pair of teal eyes slowly opened up, their owner only seeing blurs. Closing their eyes and rubbing them, they reopened their eyes to see the blurs solidify into objects with the morning sun shining down through a window. Standing before the bed they were within was a cat-like creature with cream and light-brown fur, their tail ending in a curl with a gold coin on their large head.
"Meowth!" the cat-like creature mewled before putting a blue bottle on the bedside table and ran out on all fours.
'An Awakening?' they pondered as they got up, their slender fingers reaching out and picking it up, '…Oh, I get it.' "Not funny, Meowth!"
They got out from under their sun and moon-patterned sheets, revealing they were a young girl around thirteen, yet had a mature figure of someone in their late teens. She shook her head to get the last of her sleep out of her system, causing the long, bottom-length hair to wrap around her face. She quickly got it untangled from her head and got dressed. Now wearing a sky-blue tee under a white open short-sleeved jacket with orange trim and blue jean shorts, she inhaled and exhaled slowly, pulling her hair into a ponytail.
"Okay! I'm ready!" she pumped her fists before her body-sized mirror.
"Cyber~! Breakfast!"
"Coming!" Cyber beamed before looking over at a leather-bound diary and quickly opened it, 'Dear Diary, it's been three months since I learned that my parents were sending me to the Alola Region. It's been…good. I just arrived yesterday and my grandmother was there to meet me at the harbor with her Kanto Meowth. Apparently, the Meowth here are different from the ones back at Kanto. Still…I miss Kanto, but my grandmother says that Alola is a place where Bonds can be made that are unbreakable! I…I'm nervous about meeting kids my age, especially with how I'm an early bloomer…' she frowned as she shook off the thoughts, 'Anyways, today's my first day in Alola! I'm nervous about it all…but I'm just so excited as well! Until next time, Diary!'
She put the pen down and ran out of her bedroom. The main area of the house was a large one room area with the kitchen in one area and the living room in another. At the kitchen was a beautiful, shapely woman with her long silver hair pulled into a ponytail, the end reaching down to just above her shapely behind. She wore a white sleeveless shirt that was stretched by her ample bosom and a floral pattern skirt ending at her ankles, her dainty feet without anything on them. She looked over her shoulder, her pink eyes behind small reading glasses locking onto her.
"Good morning, sweetie!" she greeted, turning off the stove and walking over to Cyber before giving her a kiss on her cheeks, "Did you sleep well?"
"I did," Cyber replied before looking over at the table, where Meowth was sitting at a clawed chair with fork and knife in paws, "That was not funny, Meowth."
"Me~ow," Meowth beamed, earning a giggle from the older woman.
"Well, breakfast is ready like I said," she smiled at Cyber, "It's pancakes with salted caramel syrup."
"That sounds yummy, grandmother!" Cyber beamed before the door was knocked on.
Cyber's grandmother giggled, "I think I know who that is. He just knows when I make these special pancakes."
"Hm?" Cyber tilted her head before the door opened and the man from the computer chat entered, "Oh!"
"Hey there, Cyber! The name's Kukui. Good to meet you, cousin! You gotta be tired after that long trip all the way out here to Alola! You feelin' any jet lag? We sure are a long way from Kanto out here in Alola. It's still daytime out here, yeah!" the man greeted with a big grin.
"Good morning, Kukui. We were just about to have breakfast. Care to join us?" Cyber's grandmother asked.
"Hoorah! I'm always up for eating the stuff you cook, Kaede!" Kukui pumped his fists.
"You've been to Kanto?" Cyber pondered as breakfast was finished.
"Ha! I was supposed to visiting there to research Kanto Pokémon moves and all. I thought I knew a thing or two about battling, but those Kanto Gym Leaders proved me wrong!" Kukui beamed before looking Cyber over and grinning, "Hey now, Cyber! Let's get a move on to the next town over, cousin! Time for you to meet the Island Kahuna and get yourself a Pokémon, yeah!"
"A…A Pokemon?!"
"Yeah, sure! But don't ya have one?"
"No. I…never went on my journey in Kanto," Cyber admitted.
"Aw bummer! Ah well! Let's go get you a Starter here and now from the Kahuna!"
"What's a Kahuna?" Cyber asked.
"Sure. sure. The kahunas are crazy-strong Pokémon Trainers here in Alola, cousin! They're unbeatable for folks like me and you!" Kukui beamed, "The kahuna who lives in Iki Town is always happy to give any kid who wants to have an adventure their first Pokémon, yeah."
"Oh, I'm so happy for you!" Kaede squealed in joy as she hugged Cyber, "Your very first Pokemon! I'm so proud of you, sweetie! In fact, I'll go and make you a special meal for when you get home from getting your starter!" she ran off into the kitchen.
"Your grandmom there..." Kukui shook his head, "She's sure looking forward to your first Pokémon, yeah? So let's get going to Iki Town! Time for you to get a real nice Pokémon from the island kahuna, oh yeah!"
"Yay!" Cyber cheered, the cheerful and energetic nature of the man making her feel excited as well, following him out of the house while waving to her grandmother.
"Now this is more like it, yeah! Welcome to paradise, cousin. This is the Alola region! Folks here in Alola get along by living together with Pokémon and working together, too. After all... You can go anywhere, yeah, as long as you got Pokémon helping you out here. That's why we gotta get you to the kahuna! First, we're off to Iki Town! Come on, it's not far if we cut up here."
"Okay!" Cyber nodded as she ran after him, "Professor, what do you study? I know Professor Oak studies Pokemon in general, but…"
"I study on Pokemon attacks! In fact, I even take on Pokemon attacks myself to study them!"
"W-What?!"
Kukui laughed, "Yeah! Pokemon attacks are really amazing! You never know what they're really like until you get hit by them yourself!"
"W-Wow…"
"Heh! Thanks! Let's get going! Iki Town, here we come!"
GammaTron: I know it's not much at this time, but I'll come back after Christmas to do some more tuning to this chapter. Read and Review everyone! And Merry Christmas and put it up as its own story!
