Part XIII: Wounds Increase

"Days like this are hard to come by"

Nozomi and Eli stand face to face in front of the school gate, the tension is heavy in the air as Eli was about to let it all out.
"Nozomi… the truth is…" Eli began
"Eli-chii, I don't think this is the right place to talk about this kind of things" Nozomi interrupted "Let's talk in my house, do you have time"
Eli simply nod her head as she followed Nozomi and walked in silence. She can't seem to read what's on Nozomi's mind as she take glances of the other girl's poker face. Eli thought of ways on how to tell her best friend how Nico and her fell in love and lost themselves in passion and pleasure, well, maybe not that last part. Before she knew it, the two of them were entering Nozomi's house.
The two were alone in Nozomi's room, sitting on the bed. Eli was about to say something when Nozomi offered some tea. Afterwards, Eli was left in the room. Just after Nozomi exited the room, Eli's phone rang. It is Nico calling. Her heart skipped a beat, and after being startled for a few minutes, she put her phone in her bag, ignoring it.

At her house, Nico entered with two large grocery bags and was starting to prepare dinner. She would've wanted for Eli to come by and eat with her but she couldn't reach her by phone. "I'm sure she'll call me when she sees it" she told herself. Nico's parents would be coming home late again today, so it would just be her and her siblings at the dinner table "I would be nice if Eli could come tonight, I'll be like… would you rather have dinner first, a bath, or…" she began fantasizing as the heat from the stew reddens her face.

"Another person's feelings are heavy, is what I thought" Nozomi went on as the two were talking for a while. "I know it sounds selfish and wrong to hear this but I have noticed your feelings back then…"
"You knew how I feel?!" Eli mustered "that I…"
"Don't you think 'used to feel' is more appropriate?" Nozomi asked with a smile
Even Eli doesn't know how to answer that one. She likes Nico and despite being annoying at times, she truly finds her really cute and loving. But now everything is being laid upon Nozomi, the friend she loved secretly for a very long time, all she felt was shame and disgust in her self.
"I really can't hide anything from you huh?" Eli said, her eyes watering up. Nozomi stood up, faced Eli sitting on her bed and hugged her tight burying Eli's face on her belly Eli hugged back and Nozomi understood.
"What about Nico-chii?" Nozomi asked, caressing the other girl's hair.
"Ni-co-chan… If you really like her, then I wouldn't stand in the way" Eli decided looking Nozomi straight in the eye behind her tears
"That's no good, you really are the worst Eli-chii" Nozomi replied with a smile as she kissed Eli's forehead "You didn't even think of what Nico-chii might feel" She slowly held Eli by the shoulders and push her on to her bed.

Toujou Nozomi is not the benevolent goddess of fortune people around her made her out to be, she feels happy, lonely, most days tiresome and rarely peaceful. She been someone other people can rely on at all times, she can't allow herself to be weak, to be pitiful, and even in the face of betrayal, she can't allow herself to be hurt. She wants to be strong.
"So, you'll choose me over Nico-chii?" She whispered while on top of Eli. Eli did not say anything so Nozomi bit the other girl's ear.
"Hnnnnggg… I…" Eli was gasping for air and could not answer
"Tch, tch, you're still not being honest, maybe it'll be better to ask your body instead. Eli's eyes widen as she felt Nozomi's fingers on her thighs and making their way to her wet panties.
"I'm sorry, Nico-chan" Eli whispered
"You say that even though you should be apologizing to me instead" Nozomi answered with a grin
"I'm sorry Nozomi, I'm the worst" Eli thought back of all the times she fantasized of this very moment, on how Nozomi would make her weak with her fingers, she thought of a certain pair of chopsticks she keeps in her room.

Nozomi was overcome of by this great emotion she could not even recognize, is it pain, hate, or sadness of being left alone? Her mind clouded, she continued to explore Eli's body, wondering if Eli have done the same to her beloved Nico. That thought triggered something in her and she proceed to lock lips with Eli while putting her hand inside the other girl's panties to feel the wetness. She bit Eli's lip as images of Eli and Nico on bed flashed her mind.
Eli was going crazy from the sensation, Nozomi was forcing two fingers inside her but her anticipation let those two fingers slide with ease. She felt Nozomi biting her lip and the pain just made her open her legs and mouth more.
Nozomi was reading Eli's reaction like a book, she stopped kissing and proceed to pull down Eli's panties. Eli was startled when her phone began to ring, Nozomi stopped while Eli checked who's calling. Her face says it all, Nozomi went on top of her again and pressed "answer". It was Nico.
