Nobody knew where Mike Yates had gotten the film from, and considering what it was, they didn't want to ask. Someone had slipped it into the case for that night's movie as a prank, and no-one had yet turned it off as they had all been transfixed, much as one would be while watching a train wreck. Suddenly, light entered the previously darkened room nearly blinding its occupants as the door opened, and the men all jumped and almost guiltily turned as one to see who'd arrived.

It was the Doctor.

The feeling of mortified embarrassment that spread across the room was almost palpable. Being caught watching porn - and not just any ordinary porn, but the sort that involved Japanese school girls and green things with too many limbs - by the Doctor was an order of magnitude worse than being caught by a parent. It was on the same level of mortifying as being caught by your elderly grandmother.

The silence was so thick it could almost be cut with a knife.

"I came because I thought tonight's film was going to be a Western, not a historical re-enactment of Ambassador Ffaln's visit to Earth." the completely unruffled Doctor casually remarked before turning and leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

This seemed to break the spell, as there was a general sigh of something approaching relief and the Brigadier yelled "Sergeant Benton! Turn that film off, on the double!". With a quick "Yes, sir!" and a bit of scrambling, the offending film came to an early end.

"I suppose I should go and er, apologize." the Brigadier said before turning to leave himself.

A couple minutes later, the Brigadier was standing in front of the TARDIS and fishing out the key the Doctor had given him for emergencies. This wasn't an emergency strictly speaking, but...

Unlocking the door and pushing it open, he found the Doctor in the Console Room watching something that looked like it involved a pair of lizards swimming in a vat of cottage cheese on the monitor. In a move that was faster than was humanly possible, the Doctor slammed his hand down on a button on the console's control panel which caused the screen to go dark before whirling to face him.

"Would you please knock next time!" the Doctor who was looking just the slightest bit ruffled yelled.
