I sat on the bench,my hands folded between my legs as I knitted my brow, deep in thought。
Why did Aichi leave us?
"Aichi。。。 at least tell me why you left。" I muttered。"I at least need a reason from you。"
"Kai kun。" A voice called out,and I looked up,surprised。There was a faint image of Aichi in front of me,a new outfit upon him
"Why,Aichi?" I asked again。He just gave me a sad expression, not like the Aichi I knew, who was always so bright and happy。
"I am like the sun,Kai。"
I felt confused。
"And?"
"My light blinds and burns。" He murmured, hues disappearing under closed lids。Kai widened his eyes.
"Aichi..."
"I want you to understand that I am trying to protect you all from the sun's harsh rays." Aichi closed his eyes.
"from me."
"Aichi."
"Goodbye, Kai kun." He murmured, starting to fade.
"Aichi, do you think we would rather stay in the dark night that the moon brings?"
Aichi widened his eyes in shock, and opened his mouth to say something, but he faded away, engulfed by a dark shadow that fell upon where I was sitting. I looked up.
A cloud was blocking the sun。
I closed my eyes, settling back down on the bench and closed my eyes, mixed feelings churning in my heart.
The sun may blind and burn, but along the way it brings life as well。
