I am super sorry you guys, but I think we all saw this coming. I just am not into the Vampire Diaries/Originals fandoms as much as I used to be. I have no desire nor motivation to finish this story. I know it sucks, I am saddened by it too. However, when I force myself to write what I do not want, it turns out horrible and sloppy. I want to give my readers the best content I can make, and it isn't happening for this story.

I am still writing, so if you like my writing style; do not fear. I will be writing for other fandoms, and who knows, maybe I'll come back to the TVD fandom. But for now, I am mainly in the DC fandom. If you like Batman, Young Justice, the Justice League, or Teen Titans, you should stay tuned.

Since I am done writing this story, I figure I should at least let you know what happens next. If anyone wants to continue this, just shoot me a pm and I'll check out your writing style.

The next chapter: (I did have most of this written for a while. It is the first draft, so don't judge. This is just so you can get an idea of what is supposed to happen)

Katherine walked into the compound, where Klaus lived. On her left stood Stefan, on her right was Caroline. Klaus and Elijah stared at the three new guests, when they all got glazed looks in their eyes. Stefan looked at his comrades and then at the Original brothers. He shrugged it off and went to make himself comfortable. After a long ass car ride with Caroline and Katherine, he had gotten used to weird shit like that happening.

Rebekah walked downstairs to see who had arrived. She was shocked to see Caroline and Katherine in her house, seeing how she kind of hated them. But they seemed to be in some sort of odd trance state. She turned on her heel, spinning herself around and she laid eyes on Stefan. So she walked over to him and sat by his side.

"What's going on?" The Original asked the only conscious person in the room. He shrugged.

"There's been these weird memory slash dream things going on with the girls. Apparently, your brothers' have them too. I'm just here to see how this pans out." Stefan explains.

"Oh, okay. I guess I will too." Rebekah replies.

So while they waited, the two just caught each other up on what was going on in their lives.

Three year old Caroline sat on a chair outside of her mother's bedchamber. She kicked her tiny legs as she waited for the door to open. Today was the day her mother was to have her baby and Caroline was going to be there the minute she could. She was dying with anticipation to lay eyes on her new brother or sister.

She had been waiting for hours. Her bedtime had come and gone and the little blonde was so tired. However, she was not going to sleep. Caroline was too excited to sleep and she wasn't going to until she saw her new sibling.

The door creaked open and the tired looking midwife walked out. She gave a nod to Caroline, signalling she could go in. Joyful, she jumped of the chair and ran into the room. Her mother looked so exhausted as she held a blanket that contained the baby.

Caroline climbed onto the bed and sat by her mother's side. She eagerly tried to see the baby's face.

"Mama, can I see?" She asked in her squeaky little voice. Her mother gave a smile and lowered the baby so her daughter could see. She pulled the blanket down and Caroline finally got to see the face of who makes her a big sister.

"Caroline, sweetheart, this is your sister." Her mother whispered to the toddler. The little girl was in awe. Her little sister. She had a little sister.

"What's her name, mama?" She asked, stroking the baby's forehead.

"Katerina. Your father and I have decided to name her Katerina Carlotta Petrova. Katerina for purity. Carlotta after my mother, your grandmother." The woman explained to her daughter.

"Oh, so pretty. Can I hold her, mama?" Caroline requested, looking up with her big, pleading, blue eyes.

"Yes, but be careful, my dear" Her mother positioned the young girl so she could safely hold the baby. She then placed the infant in her daughter's arms.

Caroline looked down at the sleeping baby. Correction, her sleeping sister. She was just so in awe. Her little sister was perfect. So cute and innocent, her eyes shut tight and her little hands held above her head.

"Hi little sister." Caroline whispered. "Katerina, I promise to always protect you and be by your side. No matter what." The three year old stroked a chubby finger against the cheek of the newborn as she made her oath.

As long as Caroline was around, her little sister would always be her first priority. And that was an oath she'd keep as long as she lived.

Caroline and Katerina talk about their feelings for Elijah and Klaus

xXx

Caroline, Klaus, Elijah, and Katerina; the four stood near each other in the same room. They were rarely all in the same place together. This was not due to animosity between any of them. They were all just so busy with each other, but never as a whole. Today was different, being sisters from no family line - they had been disowned - the brothers had to ask the sister of the woman they loved for permission of a marriage.

It would've been a secret from the brides to be, if it weren't for the brother's knowledge that the girls would have just told each other regardless. Klaus stuttered the entire thing out, immortal vampire or not, he had been scared of a rejection. Katerina had his and Caroline's fate sealed with one small single syllable word. The way she had hesitated and looked between the two lovers, her own sister gave her a begging look, but she simply turned.

Katerina, of course was trying to keep everyone in the room on the edge of their seats. Metaphorically, though, her lover, her sister and her lover, and herself were all standing. The lovely brunette paused, before smiling very brightly. "Of course you can marry her!" She stated excitedly. Klaus let out a sigh of relief.

"And you can have my sister's hand in marriage. If you so desire." Caroline said to Elijah with a wink. He gave a half smile back and took Katerina's hand in his own. 'Thank you' he mouthed to the blonde human. She gave a nod back. They were a perfect couple, she wasn't going to stand in their way.

The four all smiled at each other. It was a day to celebrate, all of them had just gotten engaged. Klaus Mikaelson never thought the day would've come; he was in love and marrying a human. Though she planned on turning after she reached twenty-four years of age. Katerina wanted to turn immediately after the initial shock of vampires wore off. Elijah refused to turn her at such a young age. She was only seventeen and he, himself, was twenty-nine. He wanted to be closer in age to her, then he would turn his love himself. The curly-haired girl was grumpy about it at first, then grew to accept the idea.

In the midst of her glowing smile, Caroline gasped in pain. This caused everyone to look at her, concerned. The light blue fabric of her dress started seeping with deep red blood, pooling in the centre of her stomach. She looks down at it, then collapses onto the ground, blood quickly piling around her.

Katerina screamed and fell at her sister's side, shaking her. "No no no NO! Caroline. Please, don't do this." She cried violently as the older blonde didn't stir in the slightest bit. Her eyes wide open, staring at Klaus; who was standing in shock.

A single figure stood standing where Caroline fell, a bloody blade in her hand. Katerina looked up in tears at her.

"WHO ARE YOU? Why did you do this?" She sobbed. Klaus registered what happened, and it hit him hard. He looked at Katerina, then the mysterious killer, and lastly Caroline. Her bright blue eyes were dull and unblinking the way she looked at him and he felt his heart break.

"No, please god no!" He shouted, then looked at her killer. His eyes blazing with pain and anger.

"Who are you?" Elijah asked, ignoring the fact that tears were threatening to fall, as he crouched beside his distressed lover.

"I'm surprised you've forgotten." The murderer, Caroline's murderer, removed her cloak. Klaus still didn't remember her.

"Clearly you have forgotten. You and your brother here killed my entire coven. My husband and brother, included. You took everything from me, now you think you deserve happiness." The witch spoke with anger in her voice.

Katerina held her sister's body close to her and cried even harder. "Sis, don't leave me. I need you." She whimpered, burying her face in her chest.

Klaus tried to speed towards the girl, the woman who took his sweet Caroline from him. Unfortunately, he found himself stopped in his tracks. He could only move his eyes, and from the looks of things, his brother and Katerina stood frozen as well.

"You destroyed my life, now I've destroyed yours. And to make sure I don't get murdered by you the minute I let you go, I'm going to do you a favour."

Tears fell from Klaus' eyes as every memory he's ever shared with Caroline disappeared and every moment with Elijah and Katerina became altered. He tried to fight it as did his brother who looked pained. The doppelganger's face, tear stained and covered in her sister's blood, was blank. Her eyes wide as they flashed.

Before anyone knew anything, Caroline's body vanished and they were all released.

"What are we all doing here?" Klaus demanded, looking around at his surroundings. Elijah stood up and moved away from Katerina.

"I, I do not know, brother." His brother responded, clearly confused. "Katerina, have you been crying?" He asked, helping the girl up. The latter rubbed her eyes.

"It appears so, but dare I say; I do not recall crying in the slightest bit." The young girl replied. "And I haven't the slightest idea why I am here, I shall leave you be." She wiped her eyes once more and walked out of the room.

Klaus and Elijah looked at each other and shrugged. Both walked out and went their separate ways. The younger brother wiped a few stray tears and wondered what they had been doing in that room and why they had all been clearly crying.

xXx

"Oh. My. God." Caroline whispered when she came out of their little daze. She remembered everything.
