Haru dove once again on the water. The Iwatobi Swim Club is going to vacate the school pool soon but Haru refused to go.

"Haru-chan!" Nagisa called out. "We have to go!"

Haru didn't reply and continued swimming. "Haru, you have to go out of the water. It's almost night."

Haru still did not pay them much heed. The three other members sighed.

"Mou~! Haru-chan is so hardheaded." Nagisa slumped on the bench, dropping his bag on the cement floor.

"You can say that again." Makoto agreed.

"You guys are still here?" A woman with red ponytailed hair walked towards the three men sitting under the shed.

"Gou-chan." Nagisa called out. "It's going to be dark soon. Why are you still here?"

"It's Kou!" Gou pouted and crossed her arms. "Besides, I finished some school work before going home. What about you guys?"

Rei pointed at the pool. Gou looked at Haru who was still floating on the still water.

"Ah. No wonder." Her eyes twitched. "Oh well, I think I'll be going. I'm a bit tired after all."

"I-I'll walk you…" Makoto and Rei turned to Nagisa. He was smiling like an idiot but you can't tell what he's actually feeling.

"Sure thing. Let's go." Gou smiled and started walking. Nagisa grabbed his bag and followed the red-haired girl.

Haru resurfaced and stared at Nagisa.

"Do you know what he's up to, Haru?" Makoto asked as Haru jumped off the pool. Rei gave him a towel to dry up. Haru shook his head. "I don't have an idea."

Meanwhile with Nagisa…

He was walking alongside Gou, carrying both his and her bag. Gou giggled. "What's with you today?"

Nagisa looked at her and smiled. "Nothing, Gou-chan."

"Call me Kou!" Nagisa laughed. "But I love your name. Gou-chan. Just like how I love you."

Gou stopped walking. "W-What did you just say?"

Nagisa stopped a few meters away from her and smiled.

"Did you just?"

Nagisa laughed at the girl's reaction and walked towards her. He stopped close enough so that their faces are inches away. "Yes, I did." He planted a quick kiss on her nose.

Gou blushed. "But why me?"

Nagisa flashed a confused expression. "You don't want me to?"

"I do. I really do. I love you, really. But why me?" Nagisa kissed Gou. "Silly you."

"I'm serious. Why?" Nagisa stepped back and scratched his chin. Gou just wanted him to say something simple like 'You're beautiful.' Or 'I love you because you're you.'

"I love you because…" He left her hanging for a second. "…Because I'm a boy with a girl's name and you are a girl with a boy's name? We match, right?"

Gou hit him on his head. "That's your reason?!"

They both laughed and headed home.

Yes, I am trying to be humorous.
