AN: I'll be frank. Between school (their "New Policies" to improve which I completely disagree with), my Interest Group (I got promoted to Vice-President, and the first years are NOT cooperating!) and my tuition. I hardly have any time for myself anymore, I actually fell asleep right in the middle of the class, something which I haven't done since 3 years ago. Even worse, I forget that I had this story.

I can't guarantee that I can finish the story. I'm really, sincerely, sorry! The most I could do now is update per year, since I don't want to give up on this story yet. But expect shorter chapters at this rate, even now I'm rushing this during break time.

This is part of a chapter I've completed since my last update, I'll post the next parts as Chapter 10. I feel guilty if I didn't inform you guys who are still interested about this story.

Furuichi didn't like this one bit, not one bit at all.

He peek through the small hole in between the door, they're leaving the dock. Keeping an eye on which vehicle his friend ended up in, he continue to think of a way to get away. Turning back to look at his traveling companions, either they are depress or annoyed of their situation even the strong ones that tried to break the chains gave up on the notion of escape. The people are kind enough to at least put them in a better environment than on the ship but Furuichi think that a person who would buy from a slave trade isn't what most people would call 'kind'. Furuichi can't believe that there will be a day he thank Oga for pushing his mental limits with his fights.

The metal close with a loud slam, sending shivers up the silverette's back. His main escape route off limits in this… basement? He wouldn't think that under such a beautiful building would hide such a place. It's well lit but the air has suffocating feel as if his walking to his death, no torture, he'll be lucky to taste death if 'they' have anything to do about it.

They were expected to 'behave', behave and you'll be rewarded. If not… well, Furuichi prefer NOT to find out what happens then. The screams from the slaves who are here initially didn't ease their 'worst case scenario' way of thinking. What's weird to him was that after the torture, they would heal them after a few days. Would they waste medicine on workers? He didn't read anything about that in history about them healing any slave workers, they usually just replace them if they died.

He's not wrong but it's a different kind of worker.

"Oi! Furuichi, you listening?"

"Yes, I heard you. You were saying something about bringing Beel to the park aren't you?" Furuichi sigh, sitting upright from his previous position.

"Then why didn't you answer me the first time?"

"Ai!" Beel agreed with his human father.

"Just because you don't use your head doesn't mean I don't use it."

"Bastard, are you insulting me?!"

"The park?" Furuichi changed the topic as if they didn't have that conversation.

"Huh? That demon woman said something about the park debut is important for baby Beel the heck if I know what that does!?" Oga took the bait and forgot about the insult.

"And she's not insisting to follow you to make sure Beel is safe?" Surprisingly.

"She has to catch a soap opera at 1.30pm." Furuichi sweat drop, he know that Hilda like those dramas but to the point of letting Oga go around with Beel without supervise? Either she trust him completely, or she has a backup plan. He highly doubt it's the former.

"Misaki threaten you didn't she."

The best friends stare at each other for a moment. Neither want to back down until Furuichi break the silent.

"So a park debut… and? Why did you come here exactly? This isn't the park you know."

"Huh? Because I felt like it." Oga lift his head resting on his arm to answer the question.

"Felt like it?" Furuichi sigh again, placing his elbow on his desk as he rest his face on his palm. "Why would a guy accompany another guy to take a baby to the park in the middle of the day?"

"I had no choice. I need someone to stop me from doing stupid things." Oga answer honestly, he glare at the growing Zebul Spell on his right arm. "It's impossible for me to stop fighting completely."

"Well, at least you knew that much."

"It was your fault anyways! If you hadn't gotten your ass captured, it wouldn't have gotten like this! Now it looks like some weird tattoo!"

"Whose fault do you think it was that I got captured to begin with?" was the exasperated reply.

Oga want to shout back at his friend until he notice that Furuichi seems pale, well paler than usual. "What's with you anyway? It's been days, your head's fine now so what is it?"

"Just tired. Having trouble falling asleep for the past few days." Moving his hand from under his chin to hold his forehead. Oga stare at his friend nursing a headache.

"Well then." Oga announce as he stand up from the chair and walk out of Furuichi's room with Beel hanging on his back. "See ya later."

Just as he turn into the hallway, he face Furuichi again. "Are oranges good?"

"If you're asking if it's healthy nutrition wise then yeah."

"I see." Then he left. Furuichi thank Oga in a soft voice letting him know that he appreciate the action for leaving him out of the park debut business to handle his headache.

"Hey! You don't look so good." Dew said, entering the room.

"Really? What gave it away?" The statement dripping with sarcasm.

"Um, the attitude? You're only this cranky when you have a headache not to mention you're paler than normal." He walks over to the sofa to sit down, completely unfazed by his childhood friend's attitude.

"Sorry." Furuichi sinks his head lower into his arms.

"Don't tell me it's here again…"

"Just leave it, I didn't ask for it." He groans.

"Do you want me to get the..."

"No need. You know how funny the medicines are in Hell, I wouldn't risk relying too much on those things." Dew close his mouth, cannot really find any to counter that statement.

"But you could help me with meditation though." Furuichi stand up from his chair and sit cross leg in the middle of the room.

Realisation dawn on his friend's face "Heh, in the end your mother's method is the most useful one even though the other find it crazy."

"She says she is used to it. Her methods aren't exactly violent or strong enough for the rest of the demons."

"Their lost then." Dew drop on the spot in front of Furuichi and arrange himself to the same position as the silverette. Both of the half-demon stayed in that position for a long time.

While the two of them are trying to get Furuichi's energy to calm, in the middle of a park Oga just 'confess' to a clueless Aoi.

"Please do it with me." And he said it with a straight face.

After the meditation, Dew report to Furuichi about the affairs in Hell and give new paperwork for him to do. Something which Furuichi reply by writing a threat letter to give it to the Demon King and confiscating the new game he intended to send over.

"Haha, I can hear it now! The Great Demon Lord laughing and crying the same time when he reads this." Dew tore open the sealed letter without hesitation to read what was written.

"Haha… That's right," Dew dig through his carrier bag. "Here you go! I hear these are quite effective in curing headache. The old lady was so nice to recommend them." He grins.

"That's… nice and all. But you realise that buying this much is overdoing it?" Furuichi stare as bottle after bottle (those 500ml kind) comes out of the small bag.

"Hm? Oh, some of them comes from the demon-"

"I don't want it."

"But you haven't-"

"Remember the 'elixir'?" He stares at his valet daring him to saying otherwise

"You're right, what was I thinking?!" The grabs most of the bottles and throw them away leaving only plain water and green tea. "Good thing I brought back up."

"Ta-dah! The old lady said that this is also quite good. Can you believe human can get well just from this?" Dew say, excited by the new discovery, holding out a can of tangerines. Furuichi stare at his friend.

The staring continue for a moment, "Well, it's the thought that counts." He accepted the can of fruit from his friend with a smile. He hope Dew doesn't think of this as some kind of miracle worker.

"Furuichi-sama, I've heard from Alaindelon about your plight. So I brought my consolation and porridge. I apologize I couldn't come earlier." And there goes Furuichi's special day off from Oga.

The look on Oga could only be describe as perplexed as he stare at his silver haired friend sitting at the corner of his bed in depression. But as usual he couldn't be bothered to ask, knowing Furuichi it was probably nothing much if he can just sit there and be depressed about it.

"Oi, you feeling better?"

"Oga, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're blind." Furuichi reply in monotone.

Oga didn't reply to the statement but merely throw the plastic bag he had in hand at Furuichi. "Here." Then he move to turn on Furuichi's console and start playing on it. Not missing the extra food on Furuichi's table.

The silverette in question, who got bump from getting hit with the plastic bag, open the can of tangerines inside and move to the edge of the bed to watch Oga try to break his record again. "Thanks."

Oga's fingers continue to smash the buttons as if he did not hear it, while Beel is pulling at Furuichi's sleeves to ask for a taste.

AN: Again I am completely sorry.
