Fly over me beautiful angel, set me free of these past sins that I blinded myself with.

Obito felt a single tear slide down his cheek. His smile trembling. It broke just as Obito collapse to his knees, his breath shaking up. Dust and dirt disturbed in the air until they settle once more. His goal—no, not his, it was never his to begin with, but Madara's end goal—now complete. The moon beautiful red with black dots on it. No longer pure white—just like him.

Fly over me beautiful angel, guide me to the light of healing.

In his angry and sorrow he became a monster when he once wanted to be a hero. Look how far he fallen. He couldn't blame her for not wanting to trust him in the first place. The crimes he committed to the war he started, all just to make a dream world where everyone could be happy and forever alive. If she could look inside his memories she could see all the lies and the murders that he committed to come this far.

Fly over me beautiful angel, lend me your strength, as I am broken.

Sakura Haruno reminded him of his past crush, the one that pushed him to start all this in the first place. The one he wished he had declared his love to her. Seeing her try her hardest to bring back her friend alive gave him that little push. To go back to the light, the right path, to be the hero he once wanted to be. Her friend may have started the pull, but she finished it.

Inspired by Breaking Benjamin's song: Evil Angel. Listened it too many times when trying to go to sleep. : ) Short one-shot that I took forever to come back to look at it. I think I made this also for Ayami1567.

I do mostly write for Sakura, so it will be good to write in his pov despite myself not being a guy. But if I can write in Dark Link's pov, then I see why not here. ; 3

For the one-shot that I am creating I'm still working on it. I'm slow on it, but I do hope to finish it unless I make it easier on myself and make it multiple chapters with at least 2k each on them. I am currently focusing more on editing on my novel; however, I do need to write more lest I start lacking on it. (^^')
