Stef hadn't like that her PI friend had called and wanted to meet and would only say they needed to meet face to face. They needed answers, the quicker the better, Tuesday's meeting was coming quicker than she would like.

She was already on high alert and had quickly picked up that they were being watched when they had come out of Dr. Kodema office building. When she had noticed that the guy had followed them out of the parking lot. She had sent a quick text to Mike to meet her at the store. It took all of Stef's self-control to keep herself in check It had bothered her to leave Callie and Lena but it had made sense if they were going to get this guy to make a mistake.

Now that they had him stewing in a holding cell, Stef wasn't so sure that the cost to the stability they had reach with Callie had been worth it. She repeatedly checks the mirror, meeting Lena worried eyes with her own. But was glad to see that Callie was letting Lena hold her and she had hidden down in Lena's curls..

Stef kept wishing that she could get a better angle to see Callie's eyes to let her know how the girl was doing, but Callie had gone very still and wasn't giving anything away. As she checks in the review mirror one more time at her girls, she hears her phone ring with the sound of an Air Raid siren which she had assigned to Capt. Roberts.

She didn't want to answer while she was driving but she had no choice. She answered using Bluetooth headphone has she placed it in her ear.

"Stef, where are you?" Capt Roberts asks with no preamble.

"Almost to the house." Stef replies

"I need you to not go home but to meet me at Eastmont school in the parking lot near the football fields, as soon as you can." Capt Roberts continues knowing where Stef's mind would go. "All the kids are fine and secure. I will explain more when you get here."

"Ok ETA five" Stef replies

Stef's mind was going a million different places but she was sure she could trust Capt Roberts. Stef might have not always agreed with the lady or how she ran her department, but she had always had her troops back. Stef did as she was told and turned to meet the Capt.

When she looked back at Lena, she had her question face on.

"There has been a change in the plan" Stef says in a quiet voice as she puts on a reassuring smile on her face. But she is sure Lena sees the nervousness in her eyes.

As she pulls into the parking lot she can see Capt. Robert's personal car. Stef is still uneasy about this and she pulls her back up gun from her ankle holster and places it on her lap as an insurance policy.

Before she parks the car next to Capt Roberts' car. The Capt hops into the passenger seat of Stef's car.

"Keep driving, please get up on the interstate and head West" The Capt in a serious tone. Stef can tell by the Capt's demeanor that she was also on edge. Stef knows when to follow orders and does so.

The Capt keeps looking in the passenger side mirror. Nothing else is said until they are on the interstate and have driven about two miles. When Stef sees a Mustang pull in behind them.

"No worries they are friendly…You can now put that a way" she says as nodding to the pistol that was still in Stef's lap.

"Care to explain?" Stef asks in a low tone

"You have kick a Hornets' nest, and they are out for blood" came the cryptic reply from the older woman in the same low tone as not to scare the rear seat passengers. Stef knew enough to read between the lines and shut up and listen. She checked in on Lena and Callie. The Mom's eyes meet Lena is worried so Stef tries to reassure her. Stef is glad Callie seemed to be oblivious to all the cloak and dagger.

"First off we have the rest of the Brady Bunch safe and secure, we are going to meet up with them in a few" The Capt knew that was going to be there first question. "…I think the rest will have to wait until we don't have little ears around" The Capt says has so turns to look at Callie in the back seat with Lena.

"Hello Lena and Callie, how are we doing back there? The Capt smiles has she says it hoping to come off non threating to the scared girl in the back seat.

Lena picks up on what the Capt is doing and replies in what she hopes in a voice that doesn't portray how nervous she is for her family.

"Capt Roberts always a pleasure to see you. We are ok for now. How long before we get where the other kids are?"

"I waiting on the all clear then we will make a stop to meet up with them." The Capt reassures Lena.

They drive another half an hour in silence, everyone lost in their own thoughts. Until Capt. looks up from her cell "Stef please take the next exit, there will be a gas station to your right when you get off the ramp pull in there."

"Reinforcements will meet us there. Don't be alarmed they will be armed. We need to get into their vehicles as quickly as possible. Leave the keys in the car, a friend will drive it back to your driveway" Capt Roberts explains "Stef you probably will want to help Callie"

What Stef pick up on without the Capt. saying so was that, Callie would be totally freaked out if some unknown person tried to take her from Lena.

When Stef pulls into the parking lot she notices the Mustang follows her into the parking lot but whips around facing the entrance on the other side of the lot.

They don't have to wait long until two black SUVs pull into the lot and park next to Stef's car. And two big males in suits get out of each car, opening the passenger doors.
