Skull and Crossbones
One day I saw a pirate ship,
Sailing on the sea.
And then that hunk of floating bark,
Opened fire on me.
…
I peeked out of my window,
Around me was my roof.
Unfortunately my little house,
Was not cannon proof.
…
Pirates, I thought to myself,
The town I have to warn.
So I headed out down through my door,
Glanced at home, quite forlorn.
…
But that pirate ship moved mighty fast,
More balls were shot at me.
Always landing on my bridge,
Never in the sea.
…
Gee, I thought, this bridge I walk,
Is exceedingly long.
I'd have to rethink my transport plans,
Once that pirate ship was gone.
…
Yet the pirate ship kept firing,
My bridge started to go boom.
I made it to the mainland far,
But I felt a sense of gloom.
…
The bridge behind me had collapsed,
No going home for me.
And that ship docked at Scuttle Town,
Disgorged depravity.
…
And then came another cannon ball,
No, a capsule, it was fired.
Disgorged pirates to attack,
My patience had expired.
…
And out came Risky, the 'pirate queen,'
To me began to mock.
Then off to haul some booty (ugh),
As if working on the clock.
…
I glanced at my shack, far and ruined,
Part of a ruined day.
Well, Scuttle Town it's time to save,
So don't stand in my way.
