Guys, this is my last update on FF. I might return later, but seriously doubt it. No more stories to tell.

I want to thank each and every one of you for taking your time to read/fave/follow and comment on this and all my other stories. It means a world, always made my day and gave me the opportunity to meet and befriend some of the coolest ladies I've known. Thank you.

Hope this is a decent ending to our little story.

Love you guys!

"Mind if I come in?"

"I do. But come in, anyway". Cora returned to the kitchen pouring another cup of coffee, instinctively going for the milk, thinking how both Collete and Bobby liked milk in their coffee.

"I take mine black". Cora's head snapped at the sound of Gemma's voice and the hand she was holding the cup shook from resentment and disgust. She put the mug in front of Gemma and sat, silently waiting for the woman to speak.

Something was wrong, Cora could tell just by looking at Gemma. She seemed too calm and at peace, so unlike her usual bitch self.

"I need to go away", Gemma finally spoke. "And I need a favor from you".

She smirked at Cora's raised eyebrow. "Help Wendy with the boys. That junkie turned out to be a good mom, but she'll need help with Abel and
he seems to like you..."

"And where are you going?"

"Don't matter", Gemma put down the cigarette and shrugged her shoulders. "Will you do that? Help her out. And help out Jax?" Her voice broke when she mentioned Jax and Cora saw her chew the inside of her cheek nervously.

"What is going on Gemma?", Cora leaned forward, carefully studying the woman. "This isn;t like you. Asking me for help. With your family".

Gemma smirked again, leaning back into the chair. She was right, this girl will succeed her. She was an old lady. Tough and smart. Perfect
match for Chibs. With her and Chibs by his side, Jax had a chance.

"Well, sweetheart, you're my family too. And I trust you, Tara trusted you", she nodded and Cora saw a painful grimace on her face, like she
remembered something. She shook her head and looked up at Cora. "I need your word Cora".

She saw Cora watching her, narrowing her eyes. When Collete was killed, her eyes seemed somehow subdued, dimmer and cold. On the night
Bobby was buried, that coldness turned to ice. The only time Gemma saw any tenderness or warmth was when she was with Chibs and Abel and
Thomas, but even then she was reserved.

Cora slowly nodded. She felt her mouth go dry and a coil in he belly tighten almost painfully. Something horrible happened or is about to
happen. She could feel it in her bones.

Gemma sighed relieved and stood up. She was at the door when she turned around and threw another look at Cora. She saw her straighten
up, jaw clenched, eyes flashing, ready for fight. Good girl. Gemma smiled, nodded and walked out, leaving Cora to stare at the door.

...

Chibs came home late but Cora was up. He found her in her studio staring into nothing. She looked up when he came in but he couldn;t read her face. He sat next to her, closing his eyes and soaking the warmth of her body next to his, the powdery scent of her skin, the mere fact she was still with him, after all the shit that happened, that he put her through.

"Cora, I..."

She shook her head and Chibs eyes went wide when she stood up in front of him, slowly opening the robe she had on and letting it crumble next
to her feet. Chibs stood up too, timidly reaching to touch her. That night he needed her to be soft and gentile. He was tired of fighting, of rough, even painful sex they've been having lately. Ever since Jarry. That thought flashed through his head and he bowed his head, wishing he could take back time, apologize, atone. They stood like that, inches away from each other, breathing heavily when he finally looked at her, slowly tracing the outline of her jaw and delicate neck with his callused fingers, cupping her breast, gently pushing her on the desk behind her.

Chibs stood for a moment, watching her spread across the colorful beads and strings, breathing heavily, her eyes never leaving his. He traced her body again, his hands leaving hot trail on her skin, her nipples hardening at the sight of him, fully clothed, hovering over her, touching her.

Cora closed her eyes, arching her back to fit his hands more. A low growl escaped her throat when she felt his lips on her skin, the tickling of his breath and the scratch of his beard. Chibs cupped her face, willing her to open her eyes but she kept them closed, fighting away the pain and hurt and doubt, savoring the weight of his body on hers, the smell of leather and bike and cigarettes around them, the feel of his cut and shirt under her fingertips, his hands on her face and in her hair pulling her in a kiss.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, sitting up as he pulled back, slowly taking off his cut and shirt, tracing his chest with her fingers and lips. Chibs grabbed a fistful of her hair, pulling her lips from his skin, finally forcing her to look at him before he kissed her again, tongue sliding and swirling in her mouth, tasting her and with every stroke Cora felt a sweet pain in her lower back.

He smiled against her lips when she moaned softly, fingers now frenetically pulling his belt and opening his jeans. Chibs kicked off his boots and got rid of his pants before he grabbed her by the ass and pulled her up, slowly moving towards a couch. He sat and seated her on him never once stopping that kiss that made her mind go blank and the emptiness in her heart fade.

She slowly raised her hips and lowered on him, taking him in balls deep. He grabbed her hips, guiding her, his lips now on her hardened nipples sucking and kissing while she rolled her hips, her nails painfully digging in his shoulders.

Chibs could see the her eyes go sleepy, hear her breathing, fast and shallow, feel her skin grow warm under his touch, her pussy clenching around him, squeezing him to his relief. Just on the brink of it he cupped her cheek, forcing him to finally look at him, needing her to look at him. She grabbed his hand, the one he was cupping her face and came, gasping his name, entwining her fingers with his, milking him to his release.

She was holding him tight, legs and arms wrapped around him and he rested his forehead on her chest, looking and hoping to find comfort in the warmth of her body.

"It was Gemma", he finally said. "She killed Tara. It wasn;t the Chinese...And all this...Bobby...Collete.." He couldn;t finish. And didn;t really need to. Not with Cora. He felt her small hand on his cheek, caressing the scar, pulling his head up. She kissed his eyes, before hugging him tight, surprising him, again, with the strength her tiny body had.

"I know."

Chibs looked up puzzled and she ran her thumb across his mouth. "Jax told me".

"He was here?"

"Yeah", she hugged him again, feeling his heart beat.

"You're not gonna tell me what you two talked about?"

Cora shook her head, feeling her throat clench. "No". She couldn;t tell him about the disgust she felt towards both Gemma and Jax, the almost sadistic pleasure she felt when she realized Jax was going to track Gemma down and kill the bitch. She loathed herself for it, for not trying to stop him, comfort him, talk him out of it. But the truth was she couldn;t. Not after Collete. Not even for Chibs. She knew how much he loved that man and knew Jax loved him too, but she couldn;t forgive or forget. The best she could do was promise to Jax what he asked her.

"Take care of them. Chibs and my brothers".

Cora kissed the top of Chibs head and rested her cheek on it. Chibs wrapped his arms tighter around her, afraid of letting go. His mind was racing - Jax, Gemma, the club, Bobby, Collete, Irish, blacks, Chinese. And in the center of if Cora.

"It will never stop, you know".

"What"

"Me loving you. And wanting you."

"It better fucking not". She tugged his hair lightly and kissed him softly.

...

Phone rang. "Babe, he needs you", Cora heard Tig's voice, broken and shaky.

Red Woody was ghostly quiet. Happy was sitting by the bar, arm bloody and bandaged. The rest of the guys were close. All of them lost in their thoughts. She could almost taste the pain in the air. Jax is gone. She touched Happy's hand gently but he just shook his head and pointed to the church.

Chibs was sitting at the head of the table, "president" patch in his hand. He didn't hear her come in and Cora stopped at the door, took a deep breath and went to him. He buried his face in her stomach, sighing and she hugged him tight for a moment, before pulling him on his feet, straightening his cut and wrapping her fingers with his.

"Let's go home".
