Authors Note: I am SO sorry for not updating! It was just finals and things and then my brother graduated so there was lots of graduation parties and things are just now starting to slow down. I think this story is starting to dwindle down. Thank you all so much for the follows, favorites, and positive reviews..

Leo scoffed and everyone looked to him. "Really guys?" He asked, " are you sure we aren't here to kill him because of what lies inside of him?"

Piper P.O.V

Everyone stopped. Froze really. Piper felt something... familiar. She felt as if she should recognize those calculating words. Cold, and carefully chosen. She looked at Leo. Studyed him and for a second she saw a flash of gold in his eyes.

"I though I told you to leave us alone." Piper said menacingly.

"What are you talking about?" Jason exlaimed.

"That is not Leo."

"What?" Ron asked.

"An Eidolon."

"A what?"

Hermione gasped... "That means that he is possessed!"

Leo's face twisted into a gruesome smile and his eyes turned gold. "For quite awhile actually, you wouldn't believe how easy it is to whisper to a broken soul."

Ouch. She knew Leo was hurt...how long has he been possessed?

"Honestly, I am shocked you guys didn't figure this out sooner. I mean with the nightmares and the outbursts..."

"Leo suffered a lot, it is only reasonable for him to act out after his last..." Jason said, faltering, not wanting to say Calypso's name.

"Yet if you knew anything about him you would know that he has always used humor as a way to relieve him from his own pain."

"Get out of him. Now." Piper hissed, charmspeak dripping from her commanding tone.

To her surprise the Eidolon laughed. "Sorry princess, he is mine now."

"No."

Leo shrugged extending a hand, flames dancing on his fingertips. Everyone took an automatic step back. He smiled, before turning away and lumbering into the woods. Piper started to follow but Jason extended his arm, stopping her.

"Charmspeak isn't working we need to find another way."

"We can help" Harry said.

Piper and Jason exchanged looks doubting their ability to be of any use.

"Please, just tell us what happened to him. It is the only way."

"How so?" Piper asked, perhaps a bit to forcefully.

" I've read up on them. When they have completely taken over a broken soul the only way to get them out is to wake up the true host. At this point Leo is the only one that can make him leave, and when anything was brought up about whatever happened to him before, that is generally when he would get angry..right? That would probably be because that is resurfacing Leo. If we know what happened to him we can wake him up."

Piper didn't say anything. She had never heard anything like it before but she was also willing to try anything to bring the old Leo back.

"When Leo was young..." She heard Jason start to tell the story and zoned out, not wanting to hear it. A few minutes went by and she watched the trio's faces. They all had pity and symathy etched into their features.

"We have to find him." Hermione said breaking her reverie.

Piper nodded and they trudged into the forbidden forest listening to the cries of despair and the sound of flame in the air. They found Leo near a small pond shotting fire at the water and watching the wated extinguish the flames. He was growling unintelligable words and occasionally screaming which sent flames everywhere.

"Leo." Ron started. " I haven't known you for very long but you seem like a really cool guy. I mean, yeah, you kind of scared me at first with all of your mexican talk and screaming in your sleep, and then the whole fire thing...not saying that wasn't cool! I mean.. if I could throw fire-"

"What he is trying to say" Harry interrupted Ron's rambling. " Is that we know you have had a hard life, and that you just can't handle it all..." he trailed off.

The whole time Leo had frozen, slowly turning around to look at them.

"Leo." Hermione stated. " You think you killed your mom right? You were what..five six years old when you lost control of yourself and set the building on fire, your mom trapped inside."

Leo's eyes flashed gold and he hissed in disapproval.

"And then the only family you had rejected you. Forcing you to love on the streets and sleep in sewers. "

Leo growled infrustration, and the clearing dramatically heated up.

"Stop" The eidolon said his voice trembling.

They all exchanged glances before Hermione continued. " You found out you were a half -blood. You were the third wheel that turned into the seventh wheel. You were used. Repair boy. Blamed if anything went wrong, and Calypso."

At that one word the eidolon froze and a gasp came out of Leo's mouth. "NO" shouted the eidolon "NO" Fire spread across Leo's arms and he turned towards Harry. "I must kill you. You cannot be allowed to continue life."

He shot a ball of fire at him that Jason used a huge gust of wind to send the other way. Piper took the oppurtunity to use her charmspeak.

"Why did you do it Leo?" she said making him stop and look. "Why did you kill Calypso?"

the look of genuine pain crossed Leo's features and he faltered. " Why did you kill your mom?" Piper said, tears streaming down her cheeks.

A look of confusion crossed Leo's face and he opened his mouth to say something but instead eidolon spoke. "NO. you will never get him back now he is gone. To weak! To weak!"

"Leo why did you hurt Festus? Take his body off like that? And what about Calypso. SHE LOVED YOU AND YOU KILLED HER!" Piper screamed the tears falling freely now.

Leo screamed and dropped to the ground. A series of no's tearing from his throat. Half of them were his, half of them were the Eidolon's.

"Take cover!" Someone yelled, and Piper was pulled into the trees. The no's continued and there was a fiery explosion. Flames touched the sky and all Piper could see was red, literally.

Eventually, the fire subsided and it was silent. Deadly silent. They all slowly peeked out from around the trees to see Leo sitting there, facing away from them. Piper was the first to react. She ran towards him ignoring all of the warnings.

"...Leo?" she asked.

At that moment sound returned, and Leo started gasping for breath from all of the tears and sobs that were tearing their way out of him.

"I-I-I'm s-s-s-o s-s-s-s-s-orry!" Leo gasped, shaking with exhaustion and pure sadness.

"Oh Leo it's not your fault! None of it!" Piper said falling to her knees and hugging the heartbroken boy.

Jason came forward and knelt down as well, throwing his arms around both of them. The trio didn't hesitate on joining the group hug either. They all sat there whispering condolences and listening to Leo's heartbreaking cries.

He definitely wasn't okay. And probably never would be. But it was a start.
