"You don't understand, I'm happy like this." Castiel was confronting Dean Winchester, the one he had gripped tight and raised from Perdition, the man he had loved. All the hopes that maybe one day Dean could love Castiel back had soon vanished after Dean had become a demon. He was now reckless and wild and careless about anyone. "Dean, what about Sam?" Dean looked at Cas. The blue eyes looking at him with confusion, head tilted. "Listen, Sam was fine without me before, and he'll be fine now." Cas shook his head. Dean had changed so much in such little time. "Dean this isn't you. I know you." Cas moved closer to put a hand on Dean's shoulder. Dean immediately shrugged away at the touch. Cas was hurt, he had invested his trust in Dean, and for this? Everything Dean and he had been through, was it all erased? "Please Dean," Cas tried, "You need to trust me. I- I need you." Dean shuddered at the words. "Alright alright!," Dean said, "Cure me."
Cas drew the demon's trap around Dean. Dean sat in the middle with Cas, who was holding a syringe full of blood. "Alright Dean, I must warn you this might-""Cas…just get it over with." At the words of ready, Cas immediately plunged the syringe into Dean's neck. Dean took a deep breath in as an instinct. After eight hours of repeating this, Cas said the incantation ""Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus. Hanc animam redintegra, lustra! Lustra!" Dean struggled in Castiel's arms. "Cas! Cas!" Dean screamed his name like a prayer. Cas cut his hand and pressed it to Dean's lips. Light flashed and then it stopped.
Dean lay in Castiel's arms. He looked pale. "Cas," he said weakly, "everything hurts." Cas touched Dean's face. Castiel's grace had been burning him out; he knew what he had to do. He lay two fingers to Dean's forehead. "Dean, I just want you to know that I've always loved you." And with that, Cas cured Dean burning out his grace. Dean instantly felt better, but Cas had fell down next to him. "Cas! Cas! Please don't go. I need you. I- I- I- love you. Please come back." Dean held him and kissed his face. "Please." In the distance, a dark figure was drawing closer. Suddenly, Darth Vader was there, he looked at Dean. "That's pretty rough man."
