~Erik~

I heard screams coming from the alley. I looked down to the street to see a man getting ready to try and defile a pretty young girl. The girl looked somewhat like Tori.

"AMI MUSICALE!" My eyes widened that was my angel he was touching. I took a nearby rope, quickly tied a fast noose and jumped down. I put the noose around his neck and choked him until he had his last breath.

As he fell I stared at Tori. Her costume was nearly gone. She looked at me, then the body, then back to me. She fainted in the cold, white snow. I ran over, put my cape around her and held her in my arms. I took her down to the catacombs, where Christine had been the night before. I lay her down into the bed and got in on the other side of her. I examined her face and neck. She had a slap mark across her face and hand prints wrapped around her neck. My rage was building up inside of me. I examined her arms just a few noticeable scratches. I skipped her mid-section and looked at her legs they were bruised and scratched. I would have to tell Madam to be easy on her for a few days. I kissed her forehead like I used to.

"Ma petit ange" I whispered. I stared at her facial features, her eyes flutter open like when she was a baby. Those big brown eyes stared into mine for only a brief second. She had sat up and wrapped her arms around me clinging onto me.

~Tori~

I had wrapped my arms around him; never did I imagine him to save me. I held onto him tightly.

"Thank you so much for saving me from that man."

"I wasn't going to let him hurt you in that way, Tori. I would never let anyone do that to you."

"You kept that promise..." I quietly breathed out

"I told you I would protect you."

I didn't want to let him go. Not ever. I sighed still shaken. I was almost taken advantage of in order to pay a bill I did not even know of.

"It's okay. Shh, I am here." He wrapped one arm around me to secure me and used his other hand to rub my back comfortingly. I unwrapped my arms from him and stared into his eyes. I never questioned his mask, and I didn't think that would be a good time.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked around the place of darkness and solitude.

"My domain, where I was bound so many years ago." He explains lightly hanging his head down. I put my fingers under his chin and made him look at me.

"Why do you seem sad for being here?" I asked wanting to know.

"Because I really don't know much of anything, but this opera house," he mutters longingly.

"I don't know much either am-" He puts a finger to my lips interrupting me.

"-Erik"

"Erik?" I questioned.

"That is my name. Erik Destler."

"I love your name," he chuckled at my comment.

"We should probably-" I caressed the exposed side of his face. He closed his eyes for a brief moment gently grabbing my hand.

"I have something I made for you." He stood up, dropping my hand.

Erik comes back with a dress.

My eyes widened.

"You made this?" I gasped.

"Yes I made it a few years back I know your favorite color was red." Erik replied.

I got up and walked closer to him.

"It is so beautiful" I said feeling the material.

"Why don't you try it on?"

"Okay um Erik do you think you could help me tighten my corset? The string was loosened when..." He seemed a little hesitant. Erik placed the dress gently on the bed and walked back closer to me.

"Okay just turn around." Erik gently laced the last strings of the corset and pulled tightly.

"There it is fixed."

I went to grab the dress when he stopped me.

"Allow me." He grabbed the dress and helped me put it on. Once it was at my curve, he held my waist lightlay pulling it down. He smiled at me. Erik grabbed my hand gently and walked me over to a mirror. He stood directly behind, his hands on my hips.

"You look beautiful, Tori," he compliments me. I leaned back into him.

"Thank you Erik... for everything." I turn towards him, and I hug him. He moved one of his hands up my back.
